Rook falls after that massive hit. Orin was proud as he recalled Rook and sent out Bindi. She was shocked first by the sandstorm, then by the Cherrim right in front of her. The sudden suprise caused her to squeak a big burp. Billowing out of the Trubbish's open mouth came a cloud of Poison Gas.

The oddish would shift it's pacing waddling around to behind Speedy. It had a good thing going here, and it was going to try it's damnedest to stick it's foot up the bug's butt.

Speedy lets out a squeak at the offending foot no longer bouncing off its shell, before rectifying that situation for any future kicks by balling up once again and scooting a bit further away from the Oddish, still looking towards the other battle to see if it'll get a chance to get a shot in.

30FS3S4t1d20 Quickly shaking off the confusion, the cherrim would cough, the poison deeply affecting it already. It'd taken down one of the two mons which had been debuffed for it, now, it turns to the other, launching further leafs as it tries to come to it's senses

'the hits keep coming.'
Bindi takes a double hit of sand, and leaf pick up by those very same currents. "Bindi, that Cherrim took down Rook, take it to Pound town!"

The oddish's outlook was turning grim: it knew it didn't stand a chance if the Cherrim fell, but it'd give one last boot to the bug's backside, dispite how distracted it was. VFpKCznU1d20 1d8+16

Speedy was angry, but the leaf that struck it, along with the sandstorm, had quelled his anger by knocking him out before the kick connected, leaving him in a curled up position that the kick loosened him out of just before being recalled.
Jamie muttered "You did great out there, Speedy." to the ball, before picking out Shapiro's ball and releasing him with some encouragement. "Alright, Shapiro, the Cherrim's almost down! Let's finish it off!" The Caterpie squints through the blowing silt before finding its target, lowering its horn, and charging straight at the offending grass type.

The cherrim would turn, with a fury in it's eyes, but the blow had been enough. It doesn't stop turning, at least, until it hits the ground, KO'd from the tackle. This left the last remaining oddish, which, while confident in it's ability, wouldn't have the chance to prove itself, both the mons recalled.

"Alright! Bindi, get outta the sand," Bindi digitized andreturned to her ball.
As soon as the storm died down, Orin made is way across the battle feild to shake his opponants hand. "That Cherrim of yours packs a walllop, you train it up from a baby? Odd to see grass types in a gym full of water, but I appreciate the diversity. You don't see all that comfortable though."

"I wouldn't say it's that odd, considering we haven't actually seen any water types in here yet." Jamie doesn't recall Shapiro, instead letting the Caterpie crawl back up to her shoulder. It wouldn't be very nice to only let her out for half a minute, after all. "Definitely a good battle though, and I'm not minding the variety either, for sure. You wouldn't happen to know where to find some grass types for ourselves?"

She'd bow slightly, in apollogy, handing over a 500$ reward to each of them. "I got mine back in the twisting path to the west! If you head through it, and to the north, you'll soon come to a clearing with a pond, the oddish like to soak there! I also hear some might be floating in the river to the east..." she'd say, very politely. "It looks like I'll still be here for awhile... I've been earning my ticket back home. I get to make payments to it for every trainer I do not need to give a reward money to, so it looks like I might be here a bit longer then expected, even with Cherrim..." Saying the mon's name would have her looking up, and bowwing apollogetically. "Oh! and your question! yes and no. I raised it as a Cherubi, but the leader here, she has special talents. People come to work at her gym and hire her services, for she is one of the few who can make pokemon evolve well before they are ready!"

"So is that what brought you here in the first place, evolving Cherubi? Cherubi... first found in Sinnoh, that where your from?"

She would look mildly surprised, and then nod. "Yes. It's a long, expensive boat ride. This league is paying for my trip back, much like the one where I came from paid for my trip here. 20,000p, to be paid off 500p at a time, for beating trainers who wish to challenge the gym leader. I've but 1500 left."

Jamie grins widely, hearing Orin's hypothesis. "Hey, I'm from Sinnoh! I was wondering why that pokeball felt familiar, used to see those all the time back home. How's the league doing these days?"

She'd shrug. "I have no recent news. I've been here several months. Quite homesick. But I have learned much for when I return, though, I do not think I could stomach to finish my league challenge like I planned."

Jamie sparked his memory, "that's right! Cherrim's ball was like nothing I'd seen before."

She'd nod, smiling a little. "An art exclusive to Sinnoh, mostly because it makes storing pokemon, and even healing them in centers, a pain. All the additons must be removed before it can be worked with." She'd sigh. "But it looks quite fancy. Mayhaps I'll try to enter a contest with it."

"I think it'd probably do well in one! Might get some extra money for your fund too, you know? I don't know where any contests are around here, maybe in a city." Jamie turns to Orin. "Anyways, I'm heading back to heal up and plan. You coming, or you still thinking of challenging those other trainers?"

"I could go on, but healing wouldn't hurt. Quite the opposite in fact. Besides, we're a team."
Back to the trainer, "it was very nice to meet you, and if you need any help getting ready for a contest or anything look us up. I'm not bad with fashions."
Turning to go, "bye, we'll be back later."

She'd bow politely, waiving to them as they'd leave.
The walk back to the center would be fairly uneventful, still early-ish in the morning, getting on about ten o'clock. The nurse would take the pokemon, giving them the estimate for when they'd be healed. (30 mins base, 30 mins per injury)
