The next thing you know, you all awake sprawled on the top platform of the temple, where you were standing. Mercifully, you don't seem to have any injuries, nor did anyone fall off. You do feel a slight tingling sensation, of the type that would normally be felt from something causing your hair to stand on end - though, it's not actually causing any bad hairstyles.
Looking around, a short amount of time seems to have passed, by the sun almost being past the horizon, but not quite yet. Axiom is nowhere to be seen, but her machine is... and seems to have suffered catastrophic malfunction. Warped metal bits are strewn about, as well as coloured powder and small dull spurs of crystal that you take to be the remnants of the Stones and Shards.
That's not the most interesting part, though. The carving of the door is still there in front of you... except something seems off about it. It takes a moment for you to place it, but, despite it still appearing to be stone, there seems to be a slight rippling emanating from the center of the doorway - as though it was water, and someone was repeatedly throwing a stone into it - and flowing towards the outside, where it stops when it hits the lines delineating the door itself.
Avani slowly sat up as she regained consciousness, rubbing her head with a groan. It took a moment for her to process the scene, gaze looking over the machine and dusts before the wavering of the 'door' caught her attention. She scrambled to her feet, eyes wide as she found her curiosity drawing her forward. She paused a moment, mind returning to her companions as she stood in front of the door. "H-hey guys! Wake up!" she called back, reaching out to timidly touch the waves. "...Woah..." she murmured, not able to resist the urge if the door gave way to her touch as she would push the limits -- starting to slip through it.
Desiree comes back to consciousness, seeing what looks like Avani starting to slip through the previously stone hard surface. Without even thinking, she calls out. "Wait!" She quickly gets to her feet and runs towards Avani, hoping to stop her from entering the temple just yet. It's only when Desiree realizes what Avani is doing, that her eyes go wide. "It worked," she blurts out in surprise. The surprise gives away to a feeling of pride. She was proud to know someone smart enough to gain entry into a place that had been barred from all for years. This isn't even her specialty, Desiree thought with awe.
As Desiree nears the doorway, she sobers up. Andrea is still in the clutches of Axiom though. That needs to be fixed. "You've got the right idea actually. I think we should follow Axiom," she said to Avani. "I'm assuming she's gone in already."
As Donovan comes back to consciousness, the last to do so, he watches as Avani begins to go through the wall? Door? Water? Whatever it is, Avani begins to go through it and Desiree seems keen to follow
"Ah yeah...That...Well that just seems like a great idea" Donovan whispers under his breath, rolling his eyes a little "Let's just chase after someone we still don't understand, going into a completely unknown area, without our full strength"
He looked up, before scratching the back of his head for a moment before sighing and heading towards the entrance "Right. Let's go see something amazing then"
Donovan looked up at the GIANT Audino, before glancing around....Well...he couldn't feel his arms, so his two main plans of either releasing Rose or throwing a Stun Spore were out..So, he did what any reasonable person would do in the case of being alone in a room surrounded by giant Pokemon. He ran and hid behind on of the pillars.
As he peeks around the pillar, he tries to get a feeling for the rest of the room, looking for any sign of his friends...or a way deeper in.
Avani gave a small groan as she stood up, eyes squinting as she looked around. Spotting the pokemon around her she stiffened, eyes widening a bit. Where was she? And why was she with Pokemon? She furrowed her brow a bit before jumping at the sudden movement, eyes flashing to look towards the Budew that fled from her. "A-ah! I-it's okay.. I won't hurt you.." she cooed out towards it, feeling a little bad for startling the little thing.
Desiree groggily looked around, taking in the carvings on the walls and fancy columns with interest. Then she spotted a Budew. Is that... Rose? She thought, looking at the large Budew, but then realized this wasn't the case, because Rose wasn't anywhere near as large as that. And then she saw the huge Audino. Audino weren't usually the greatest of fighters, Desiree remembered, but this one was pretty intimidating nonetheless.
Taking a wary step back from the monstrous Pokemon, Desiree finally noticed her legs. She seemed to be moving on both her hands and feet... well, they certainly weren't hands anymore. She was moving on paws. "What. The. Hell." Each word was punctuated with a tap of her new appendages. When the Budew ran away to hide and the Audino tried to soothe it, Desiree relaxed. These weren't enemies it seemed. She looked around once more, trying to spot her companions and attempting to figure out why on earth she seemed to be inside the body of a Shinx - as far as she could tell anyway, by the colour of her... fur, and the tail that she could feel. "Avani? Donovan?" She called out, hoping that her friends were around somewhere she couldn't see.
Donovan tried to shrink even furthter behind the pillar when the Audino spoke up. Great, a talking giant Pokemon "Yes, I'm sure you wont hurt me giant talking Audino" He says with no shortage of sarcasm as he dashes behind a different pillar, hoping to make it to somewhere he wouldn't be seen.
And then the Shinx called out for Avani and himself. Poking his head out from behind the pillar he looked at the Electric type and narrowed his eyes "How...How do you know my name?"
The Budew suddenly speaking startled her a moment, though after what it said sunk it a confused look crossed her face. "Audino?" she questioned before looking towards her hands, stiffening at the sight with a squeak. "AH! W-what's happened to-" she paused, whirling around to look at the Shinx as it spoke out. "U-uh... I.. I'm Avani... Wait, you only asked for me and Donovan.. Desiree?" she asked, confusion further showing upon her face before the Budew's voice caught her attention once more. "You're Donovan? But.. you're a Budew. Like his Rose..."
"Yes, it's me, Desiree," the city girl- or rather, city Pokémon, said, looking around at the Budew and Audino. "This shouldn't be possible but... it seems we've been put into the bodies of Pokemon. Like this is some kind of movie or something." It really shouldn't have been possible, but how could she deny the evidence staring her right in the face? There was no point in denying what had happened and if she was a Shinx, it only made sense that the others would be Pokemon too. Oh wait, actually that didn't make sense, but she was going to have to go along with that line of reasoning for now anyway. She walked forward a little to place herself closer to the giant Audino that was Avani and the Budew that was Donovan.
"Uh, Don, can I call you Don? I think hiding only works when the person you're hiding from can't see where you've gone to hide." She smiled a wry smile, attempting to bring some levity into this frankly insane situation. "It looks like we made it into the temple guys. I wonder if the temple turns every person into a Pokemon somehow, and if so, what the hell did Axiom become." Desiree shakes her head and shudders a little, becoming surprised when the shudder goes through her whole feline body. "Well, let's not dwell on that. How about we explore a little? Maybe we can figure out what happened to us, and how to reverse it." The Shinx smiled at her two companions.
Donovan blinks slowly "I'm a Budew? Like Rose? Melody always said she gave me Rose because he reminded her of me but I don't think this is quite what she meant...."
He nods his head "Oh I get it! This is all some crazy dream and I'm still passed out from the shock of whatever happened when the machine did whatever it is that it did!" He begins to nervously chuckle "Because there is no way that we've become Pokemon because that is the most insane thing I have ever heard"
He slumps up against the pillar as 'Desiree' begins to talk of exploring "Ex..Explore? Ah...yeah..let me just go open a door with my arms...oh wait" He says sarcastically.
Before you can continue your conversation, you become aware of some voices coming from the small archway on the right side of the room. They're growing louder, though you can't make out what they're saying. Neither the similar arch near you on the left nor the large one in the center seem to have similar sounds coming from them.
Upon hearing the sounds, Donovan peeked up, bouncing over and pushing himself up against the wall, attempting to listen in to what the voices were saying. Even if this is a dream, he wasn't sure how much it would hurt if he got hit, especially being so small, but there was no reason to keep hiding forever. He would wake up eventually after all...he hoped.
Though Desiree could hear noises from elsewhere, she followed Donovan and pressed herself against the wall next to him, also trying to hear what was being said. Splitting the party, even spreading themselves out over a large room, probably wasn't a good idea after all. She just hoped that his action meant he was getting closer to accepting reality for what it had become. Stranger than fiction indeed. Looking over to the monstrous Audino that was Avani, Desiree motioned her over with her tail, being a little surprised at how easy it was to manipulate that appendage.
Avani had paused for a moment at the sounds, almost not noticing her now smaller companions scurry off until the bobbing tail caught her eye. "Oh!" she exclaimed in a hushed tone, scampering to join the pair with a sheepish smile. Opening her mouth to speak she paused, rethinking the matter as the voices were seeming to get closer. Instead she pressed herself against the wall and did her best to listen as well.
Coming through the opening, seemingly pre-occupied with their conversation, amble a Pancham, Meditite, and Makuhita. It isn't perfectly clear until they came out of the corridor, but the gist of the conversation seems to be the Meditite complaining about nobody letting her use psychic powers.
Desiree eyes the Pokémon with interest, amazed that she can understand them. Are they Pokemon or are they other people that have been turned into Pokemon? If the prior is true, then would that make this the 'Fighting-type' temple? If Desiree remembered correctly, Andrea believed that each temple was related to a type.
Either way, in order to avoid their notice, Desiree tried to maker herself as small as possible while still pressing up against the wall.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
