"Well..." she hesitates. Clearly it isn't the easiest thing in the world, even when her own family is asking. "There was a man with some somewhat severe electrical burns, who came in recently. I treated him as best as I could, and eventually discharged him with some medecine. He's... due to come back tomorrow, to make sure that it didn't get infected, and that it's healing properly."
If she's uncomfortable under Leslie's stare, she doesn't show it.

Electrical burns... Made sense, for what they were looking for. Of course, further observation was needed to confirm it, but so far it was a solid lead. Now, the Clinic would likely not have detailed information on where they were residing (and if they did, the accuracy was liable to be... poor) so an ambush was unlikely to work. Which meant a pursuit, scheduled for tomorrow? At least Soleil ought to enjoy that.
"I see... In any event, while it would be helpful to confirm his identity, we will endeavor to keep your clinic out of these affairs, especially directly," and a more general question to the team followed, "Do we think this suspect warrants further investigation?"

Silas hesitates a bit before offering his opinion. "I think we don't have any other leads. I'd rather not show our hand and interrogate someone this early. But what if..." Silas trails off as an idea strikes him. "Street fights. We get his attention by winning a fight near him, maybe get an invite to the arena. Leslie, you would probably be our fighter. Soleil, you could do it too, but a gun might scare people off."
Hopefully, one of the girls will be on board with this plan. It's probably their best shot at avoiding harming a patient.

"I don't like hand to hand." Soleil said flatly at the remark about a gun might scare people.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeey sure~. I've had an idea for a... subtler version of my stunner since I tried it out with the blue cat. It'll be a niiiice field test."
A sickening smile emerges on her face. Let's hope her victim has a strong bladder when she attacks them. Or an empty one.

"I don't know what you're planning, but... be careful of whatever you choose to do," Maria says, cautiously. "Disturbing the peace significantly is probably going to get you noticed... just make sure it's not in the wrong way. You of all people should know, Silas, that people picking on the wrong target has set off some nasty feuds in the past. People have connections. Sometimes not ones that you'd expect. Just... stay safe, okay?"

While Thoron was less than fully sold on an interrogation not being the best course, if word got back to the arena it would be worse for them in the long run. That in mind, he said, "While the sentiment is doubtless appreciated, unless you know how we might figure said hidden connections out in advance, Doctor Floros... Silas has demonstrated enough prowess that such well-wishes are very much unneeded." To say nothing of the fact that we want a target with some connections...
There were several new pieces they would do well to review, and as Maria had said, it wouldn't do to disturb the peace. "Unless there was anything pressing we neglected to address, it seems we have no further reason to impose upon your clinic, Doctor. In which case... Silas? Awesomette? Soleil, anything else?"

Silas looks at his mother with a resigned expression. "We're trying to enforce law in this district. Add in that I'd be more surprised if this wasn't gang activity, given the power needed to set this thing up, and it's going to be a mess no matter what. We just have to get out before the higher-ups hear about it and send people after us."
There are a couple ways to get in a fight that would cause too many problems. Obviously, provoking a random person is a bad idea, but they could probably get themselves 'mugged' or 'accidentally' bump into a belligerent drunk.

At Thoron's remark, Soleil stood up and slung the bag back over her shoulder. "Soooo how we doing this? What am I doing while Leslie zaps people?"

"I've go~t nothing, unless the good Doctor is willing to point us onto the trail of a good target... with not good bladder controllll."
She smiles, and blinks out of sync. Yeah, she's gonna have to fight someone, which is less than amazing. Buuuut, she gets to do the zappy thing. Zappy things always bring smiles. And smiles should be shaaaared.

"If you mean me," Maria says, shaking her head, "I am absolutely not getting involved, in any format. Including further information about my patients. Keeping this up and running is bigger than just myself. There are people who rely on this place."

Silas nods at his mother's reply. This is exactly what he expected, and he would have been somewhat disappointed if she had helped them further. "Good. Barring bad luck, we won't be back for business. Depending on how the mission goes, we might not be able to stop by before we leave." He stands up, also ready to leave. Silas isn't quite sure what Soliel could do to help with his plan, but she and Thoron could play the role of 'naively' getting in to trouble.

Her smile goes sour. "Fiiii~iiiiiiiine." It's not like Doctor Momma wouldn't get something out of the exchange. The group was basically gonna gift wrap a new patient for her!
Leslie starts leaning towards the exit. Maybe someone tripped her sentry threads. That'll lift her spirits.

Leaving the wrap-up of their negotiations to Silas and Awes- Leslie, Thoron answered Soleil, "That depends on how we decide to go about the operation. While its unlikely that anyone would willingly fight you while armed, the same should hold true in reverse: If the battle takes a turn for the worse you might soar in to 'defend the girl' being accosted by our target... For example." Thinking on it a moment longer, he adds, "At any rate, we had best discuss specifics elsewhere. Leave the Doctor her plausible deniability and let her return to her work."

Soleil fidgeted slightly at the 'soar' comment, but didn't remark. As everyone was ready to go, she nodded and waved goodbye to Silas's mom. "Bye Doctor Mom."

"Just stay safe," Maria says, as you head out. "And, please, if there's something going on, try not to stir it up. I know that you have your job to do, but nobody here wants another turf war."
You're able to make your way back to your temporary with neither any problems, nor it seeming like anyone is paying undue attention to you - yet, at least. Upon returning, it seems as if it's undisturbed, with Leslie's system still in place.

After Leslie has finished verifying that there were not any intruders, Silas enters the room, takes off his backpack, and takes a seat on the floor. They should probably work out some sort of plan before heading back out. He really needs to talk his team out of an "ambush and violently interrogate" mindset. Moral objections aside, that's exactly the kind of thing that could drop the whole district on their heads.
There is one thing that needs to be decided first. "So do we want to gather some information today? There are a few places we could go to find trouble."

Hiding his disappointment at the lack of response to their bait thus far, Thoron replied, "We have yet to reveal our interest in this matter to anyone save Doctor Floros. Given our limited-time status as unknowns, to not gather as much information as possible now would be a poor use of resources. Furthermore, rushing into a fight is likely to complicate matters; if we can find a target that accomplishes our goal and provides a minimal risk to Awe-... To Leslie, so much the better. Though that requires finding one first..."
"For the record, I strongly suggest we observe for today. Which locations did you have in mind?" he continued, "Perhaps we would do well to have Soleil rate them as ideal for both ease of observing the fight unnoticed, and the fight we choose to stage as noticeable?"

As they arrived back at the place, Soleil waited for Leslie to do her thing with the door. Once they were inside, she went in and sat down while listening to everyone discuss their plans. "Oh! I can definitely rank spots to look from a distance! You meaning for just me like a sniper nest? Or for all of us? If just me I'm pretty good at climbing and can get to a lot of spots that might not seem easy to get to if you know a good spot for standing at least."

Unfortunately for the group, the planning and plotting was interrupted by the sound of Leslie throwing up - mercifully making it into the toilet. Upon examination by Silas, it doesn't seem to be anything life-threatening, but rest and medication will be needed. To avoid putting both the clinic and Leslie at risk, a decision is made to take Leslie to the Technician Outpost near the center of the district.
There, HQ is contacted, the situation is explained, and the promise is made for a temporary replacement. And that is why, several hours later, there is a knock at the door to your temporary base, followed by the swipe of a keycard. In the open portal that follows stands the tall, silver-haired, form of Austin Valadian, hefting a small bag of presumably supplies. At least this time he's clad in civilian clothes.
