Henry groans, finishing the last of the milk in his bowl and looking to the open door. "I think a Zangoose would be a good idea for my team... Do you mind if I hurry after him and come pick it up before we teleport? I'm worried he'll get himself in trouble... Or lost..." A bit of a dramatic worry perhaps, but worse things have happened.

Finishing up himself, Helios rummages through guild storage for a few restoratives before following the overexcited elf out into the town.

Sariah, noticing Farina has left, pops back in to the main hall and runs off with the side table only to bring it back moments later. You recognize it as the machine that creates pokemon from vitas. Sariah excited bounces next to it, "Come one come all! Get yer new buddies here!". She begins to tinker with the machine and out pop a few pokeballs which she quickly rushes into your hands before you can even move to get them. "Oh yes, you'll need to know where to get your shoes! The general equipment shop is right next to the weapon's shop just below the entertainment district. He calls his place... 'Mike's Uniques' but it all pretty generic, hehe." With her usual enthusiasm, she scurries off after handing some of you some new allies. Each of you are free to stat up any level 10 mon of your choice from the availability list.
Just remember that you can only take 3 pokemon with you to the dungeon. So if this would put you at 4... you'll have to leave one behind. When you eventually leave the guild hall, you are hit with the smell of a rather fresh new day in the form of the morning dew. The streets and air are still a bit cold and you can still feel the humidity from what could only have been last night's rain. You can see that the vendors are preparing for the morning. Their stalls are open, but assistants everywhere are busily stocking up for the eventual rush of adventurers. Despite the large number of guilds, you do not see too many adventurers around you, maybe 30 at most. Quite a few of them are gathered around a particular baked goods shop munching on cookies, brownies, bagels, and other various breakfast items. Others are gathered at the pokeball vendor trying to haggle down prices for some of the better pokeballs. And the rest are simply wandering from stall to stall. When the group finally makes it to "Mike's Uniques", a male Bronie greets you, "Howdy! How cans I helps ya todays?" His outfit is strikingly similar to Sariah's outfit. However, his outfit contains many more shades of brown and green giving it a more earthly feel. His shop lacks a door but instead has a curtain that is currently slid to the side allowing him see you all from his position behind his register. He's currently looking over a shirt while adjusting an eyepiece for reasons unknown.

Nette felt quite comfortable that her current pair of companions would be sufficient for the scuffle to come. And if they weren't, there would be bigger troubles then one could throw pokémons at! I haven't even named these two yet ... Thus Nette declined the offer to add one extra to her team at this moment. Besides we might find some cute ones in the cavern! She waited (in)patient at the door though.
"Hm hmm hmm m hmm-mmm; hmm hmm hmmm hmm-m-hmm!" Nette continued to hum the faint melody from her dream all the way to the shoe-shop, curiously eyeing the sights on the way. There was much less people in the town that she was expecting, at the moment. She took great care to note which stalls appeared to carry the most important goods; the pokéballs and the pies. Maybe Sariah for breakfast pies? With a deep breath she could catch the scent of all the baked goods, mixed pleasantly with the faint softness of rain (and some other things less pleasant).
"Hm hmm hmm m hmm-mmm; hmm hmm hm- *uh* Hi!" Nette greeted the Bronie back, noting the cosy colours he was wearing. Digging trough her pouch for the vouchers she explained their business. "We are from a new adventure guild - and we would like to try out some new shoes!"

With her new Murkrow in tow (proudly dubbed Bran, after an old word for crow), Bee tags along with the group to the equipment shop. Up until now she's only been in town briefly for the process of finding a guild, so she's still got plenty of gawking to do, even if it's an early morning and the crowd isn't very big yet. Let's see, Pokéballs over there, tasty things there, and that looks like the weapon shop so that must be Mike's Uniques.
She grins from behind Nette and waves at the Bronie she assumes must be Mike. "Yup! They tell us you're who we talk to for new shoes, and we've got a whole guild worth of feet!" His accent strikes her as a little unusual - perhaps he's from out of town, too. Maybe he can tell her about where he's from... of course, in a city like this she could probably spend a lifetime just hearing about the places people come from. Something to think about later - they certainly couldn't afford to spend time on it today, not with their big missions.
Speaking of getting sidetracked... "Did a Lunari with a big grin and an Earthrun with a top hat make it here? They were ahead of us..."

Merit Sol followed a few meters behind the rest of the group, looking at the familiar places and giving an occasional wave to familiar faces as they passed. In his medical satchel rode Matchi the Cherubi, who was comfortably soaking in the warmth of the sun.
Eventually, the group stops at an unfamiliar shop. Catching up to the main group, Merit hears the tail-end of Bee's question. "This Lunari goes on frequent tangents if that helps, though I think they both got sidetracked at another shop." While he waits for the store owner's answer, he looks at the wares on display.

Falon had opted to get a Zangoose to fill out his team, knowing full well the amount of destruction they could bring to the battlefield. After having done so, he follows behind Merit, taking in the sights of the city, amazingly not running off at the first opportunity - city centers were a lot less interesting to explore than dungeons or even the shadier parts of town, where exciting stuff could actually happen - and stays silent as the others talk, not really feeling like adding to the conversation.

"I don't know any Lunari who have big smiles!" Olivier chirps as he descends out of the abyss of god knows where. "Ooh! But, I hope whoever you're looking for smiles like I do! It's hard to find Lunari who aren't crazy, or with weird smiles, or aren't muttering to themselves about something cool like star patterns or how falling leaves are a symbol of death!"
He smiles, before twirling redundantly. Waiting expectantly upon the Bronie, it was clear he couldn't stay still for a moment because shoes are important! Very important! Funny that he looked so much like Sariah though. Did all Bronies look like that?

Henry finally catches up with the group, catching his breath a bit, but seeing how Nette had already begun speaking, he simply observed for now. It wouldn't be very difficult, he thought, but he felt he did need to make mention of something. "We were given some coupons, and were hoping you could tell us what we could redeem with them."

"Coupons? I don't knows what yous talking about with coupons," he begins, but pauses for effect, before smiling, "Just yanking yous chains. I've been expecting the lot of ya since I gaves good ole farina them coupons a whiles ago. I'm quite prouds of that one getting her own guild starteds ya know?" The bronie is beaming at this point before waving you all in, "Now come come let's see what I can do with yous." He directs you each to enter the shop. Upon entering you immediately notice that this shop is not quite what you expect. The shop lacks an "equipment store" vibe. The inner store screams fancy at every step to the point where most people's wallets feel dry upon entering. Mike eyes each of you as you enter, "Don't yeh worry, I'm just a big fan of the looks. All the stuff's still quite affordables. But I suppose I do have a few things whose price tags live ups to the expectation. Gots me a bikini in the back with enoughs of my magic touch in it take a draco meteor withouts feeling an itch if that's what yer intos!!" He then directs each of you to take a seat and begins making small talk with each of you. Some of you are asked about how your new life as adventurers is going. To others he casually mentions his ties to Farina (she visits his shop often). You are all close enough to each other to hear these exchanges. Meanwhile, he's measuring each of your feet after directing you to remove any footwear. He finally asks each of you... "So... whens you go out to adventure, whats do you do for you team?"

Henry enjoys the small talk for a bit, leaving his bow at his side. He talks about his father, the missing archer, about his way here, some little things here and there. When the question came, he looked to the ceiling, chuckling. "Would you believe I can predict the future? If not, I'm an archer. I aim for weakpoints."
He paused a moment, thinking about what the Shopkeeper said. "That... Bikini. Do you do custom orders, and do you have any style for males?"

As they decent deeper into the shop Nette looks around with big eyes. This was *much* fancier then she was used to! She tried to make herself as small as possible, with questionable success, until she can find a stool to sit down on and avoid crashing into any merchandise. There she could pry off her somewhat muddy moccasins and let the bronie do the measurements. While she preferred to listen to the small talk instead of speaking, she did reply to the direct question. "Hmmm. I stand up front to fight our foes - and try to make sure none of them can harm anyone else!"

"I don't even know what I'm doing!" Olivier cried with a toothy grin. He paused to consider actually consider this, then gave a real answer. "Well, I guess if I do anything, it's that I know how to create shields and barriers to protect my friends from monsters. I'm really good at it too!"

"I'm the medic." Merit gestures to his medical satchel, where Matchi has fallen asleep. "I have training in field medicine and frontline healing. In combat situations, I can hold my own in a fight when I'm not needed for healing. My fighting style is agility-based, so quick footwork is a must."

As the Bronie approached each of you to ask what your specialty is, he pulled out various fabric and tapes from a few small pouches on his waist to measure your feet or appendages in general. He begins by going to Henry. Henry enjoys the small talk for a bit, leaving his bow at his side. He talks about his father, the missing archer, about his way here, some little things here and there. When the question came, he looked to the ceiling, chuckling. "Would you believe I can predict the future? If not, I'm an archer. I aim for weakpoints."He paused a moment, thinking about what the Shopkeeper said. "That... Bikini. Do you do custom orders, and do you have any style for males?""hmm, hmm yeps yeps, yous sure look like the type to go in for the kills. I wasn't expecting yas to be a psychic of sorts tho. I suppose that makes yer job a bit easier thos. If your future telling's any good at leastsss~" He laughs as he finishes measuring you and jots down some notes. "The rest of yas can just hang ons there a minute or twos~ I'll be with yas in a sec!" He claps his hands twice and a small table rises from the floor in the center of the room. "I hads that one installed just two whole months agos~" He walks up to it places his hands above a curious machine. It comes to life in a whirl of greens and blues as the area above the machine suddenly becomes a lot busier. The whirls coalesce into a sphere with those colors still swirling within. He begins to think to himself as he reaches inside and begins to play with it, almost molding it like play-doh despite it being mostly intangible. In the end he returns with some shoes for Henry and hands them over. "Try these beauties on~" You receive Accurate Shoes. Effect: Every odd turn of the battle, you may choose to gain +2 accuracy to damage dealing moves but you deal 5 less damage with those attacks. "You just tell me what color ye wants and I can still modify em since they're still fresh off tha tables~ But eh... Just like with these shoes... I can modify most anythings into any shape and size so long as it's uh... similar enough I suppose is the easys way to say it. I can makes a bikini into some swimming clothes for males but I can't up and turns it into a sword or shoes." As they decent deeper into the shop Nette looks around with big eyes. "Hmmm. I stand up front to fight our foes - and try to make sure none of them can harm anyone else!""Oh well aren't ye a cutie," he starts as he walks to Nette after finishing up with Henry. "So, you're an adorable one and ye fights up in the fronts. Well, aren't ye a brave one there? I suppose I know just what to do for yas. Lets have a looks at yer little feet theres shall we?" Just as with henry, he takes various measurements and scribbles a few notes with various "mm hmms" and "yeahs" interspersed with his data gathering. He then walks to his machine and attempts to recreat the moccasins she just removed, although he does add a small flower to them. You receive Vanguard Shoes. Gain +1 OL movement. Once per battle, if an enemy enters an area within burst 2 of your character, you may move in front of them as a free action and stop their movement. This uses up your next shift action.
"I don't even know what I'm doing!" Olivier cried with a toothy grin. He paused to consider actually consider this, then gave a real answer. "Well, I guess if I do anything, it's that I know how to create shields and barriers to protect my friends from monsters. I'm really good at it too!" "Hmms, I sees I sees. I thinks I knows what yous talking bouts." He happily whistles while giving Olivier a look over. He casually measures Oliviers feet as he chats a bit here and there about the importance of proper fitting shoes that give great arch support, though he occasionally trails off into nonsensical tangents. "... and that's why ye donts put a Miltank and a skitty in the same day care room ya knows!" He then walks off to the machine and as usual plays around with the various vitas popping out of the machine. As before, it's a bit difficult to tell exactly what is happening given that none of you are particularly knowledgeable in the arts of crafting. He eventually returns with what feel like extremely comfortable shoes. You receive Support Shoes. Effect: Once per ally per battle, when an ally (including you) expends a use of a blessing, they heal for 1 tick of HP at the end of that round.
"Me? I lay down area fire from a distance, or at least I try to. I could definitely use a better wand for it, though..." "Oh, so yer that types of fellar huh." He grins as he begins to fiddle with the measuring tape. "You know... yeh reminds me of a few fellas that cames by here the other day. Cept they were a bit more seasoned of course. One of em wanted this one robes I made a month of so ago. It protects you from poison. Now that's normal stuffs ya know. But then he asks if I can fashion its intos a garter belt for his fiance! Threw me for a loops on that ones. Ya know... if people have odd requests, I can handle most of em... but that's the first time someones asks me for a garter belt immunes to poisoning." He continues with other odd little stories before beginning the same crafting process and eventually returns with similar style shoes that you wore before. You gain Thinker's Shoes. Once per battle: When rolling AC, you may choose to declare that you are thinking about your next move (declare this in the roll thread right above the AC roll). If you roll above a 5, your attack ignores the enemy's evasion.
Falon grins. "I"m the one that runs into the fray and strikes down enemies as fast as I can!""Ho ho~ Yous sure did strike me as the type! Not to be means or such but you definitely gave off that vibe. I've felts it from various or your kind that likes to just jump right on ins. Not to mentions, you have that fiery burn in yer eyes just like em others!" He directs you to take off your shoes and begins to measure you up. "Ooo how I know how I knows just what you needs. But firsts, you needs to make sure that the next time you get shoes, you get ones that fits ya a bit better. Those were a sixtieth of an inch too wide for yas. But oh well, no one's perfect." He walks off to the machine and fiddles with it as well. He eventually returns with a new pair of shoes for Falon. You gain Igniting Shoes. Effect: Once per battle, when you successfully burn an opponent, your shoes ignite until the end of your next turn. While ignited, you leave a trail of fire hazards that cause people who step on them to lose 1 tick of HP. Bonus: You are immune to fire hazards.
"Mostly I'm the one with the map. I've got good eyes, I know the wilderness and I know about Pokémon." Bee taps the side of her head with a smile. "In an actual fight I mostly attack from a distance though, with my bow and my ice magic." "Okays okays, I thinks I can works with ya. But I can't quite gets a good feel for what you need. So let's see whats I can whip up eh?" He takes many notes about the size of your feet as he ponders what information you gave him. "Well see here young lass, I gots me an itching that you'd be best off with something less combat related. I was hopings I could help yas when it comes to fights, but there's loads more to adventuring than justs them fights. Waits here a sec." He eventually returns with a new pair of shoes that tingle initially when you put them on. You receive the Explorer's shoes. Effect: Once per floor you may tap your feet hard against the ground to reveal a medium sized area ahead of you. Any useful items naturally found in nature (such as berries) will stand out to you if they are in the revealed area even if they are normally hidden. (The revealed area is given to you in the form of a mental image of the shape of the area ahead of you and a "recollection" of where you could swear some useful items are located. If the area is dark, you still cannot see the area, but you know its twist and turns.)
"I'm the medic." Merit gestures to his medical satchel, where Matchi has fallen asleep. "I have training in field medicine and frontline healing. In combat situations, I can hold my own in a fight when I'm not needed for healing. My fighting style is agility-based, so quick footwork is a must." "Hmm, a medic ye say... Them be importants to any group. Why I know of a party of fellars that once went to strata 4's desolate canyon without a medic. It's a shame that they died out there cause they were good customers too. So I'm glads to knows that yer team has at least 1. Granted those fools died cause they were a spectacularly greedy bunch. So if theys sees a treasure ahead of em, they jumped straight for it. They really weren't the brightest bulbs out there ya knows~" He continues with a few stories here and there about the medical benefits of miltank milk when combined with aspear berries, but you can't be all too certain that you're following him properly since his explanation seems scattered at best. He eventually goes to the machine a seventh time and returns with a new pair of shoes for you as well. "Hmm, I gots something you might need out there as a healer. You'll needs to make sure you don't go down for the counts while getting yer buddies patched up. You gain Healer's Dancers. Effect: Whenever you heal an ally, you gain +2 to your evasion for the rest of the turn. This effect does not stack. He finally turns to Nithia, who has remained quiet this whole time. "Now yous. Your face already says everything now doesn't it." He circles around Nithia taking note of her feet as he looks her up and down. "Now I can't say too many Lunarians come to me that are as young as you... wait waits... no yer just rather small seemings it seems huh. Regardless, I can see a dichotomys of sorts in yas and they don'ts seems to want to work together. Ye better be carefuls with that. Not that I'd knows how to helps in that regard. But what I do know is shoes! ... and other clothes for that matters. And I knows just the shoes to help ya out here!" He fiddles with the machine for a while before returning with a pair of rather slender looking dress shoes that fit rather high up above the ankle. Fairly common lunari shoes, or so the bronie will claim. "Now despite the look, these ARE for adventuring!" You receive Blessed Accuracy Shoes. Effect: Once per battle, you may give up a use of a blessing to remove the AC roll of any status move that induces a status effect on an enemy. Once per battle, you may choose to cure an opponent's status effect that you inflicted so that your party gains an extra use of a blessing you have already used in this battle.
He looks satisfied with his work and addresses all of you, "Now that yer done here.... I'm feeling tireds doing that many shoes in a row. It's tiring ya know! So gets on out there and do some goods."

Merit slips on his new shoes. "Very fine craftsmanship," he says appreciatively as he takes a few steps. "Once we have more funds, I will definitely consider purchasing from here in the future."
