Kat rolls it around in her palms for a few seconds, feeling the weight of it, the chill. She shakes her head slowly at Amber's question. "Unless it turns out t'be one of the wintery mon, then no, I don't think anythin's about to hatch from this. It's cold as death 'n solid as a rock. Still wanna learn more about it, though." She wraps it up in her pack, edging away from the broken pod.
"You say there's people in these?" She scans for larger ones, trying to pick out what Amber had seen. "That doesn't sit well with me. But I doubt they're alive. Can check before or after we get rid of the fucker further on. Your call."

"After that outfit and my getting soaked," Christine says to Joyce, "I'm beginning to wish I didn't leave my jumpsuit behind. Wasn't expecting to need a change of clothes, though. Wasn't expecting a lot of this, for that matter..."
One more unexpected thing adds itself to the pile, as Cecil hears their conversation... and cuts up his own extra clothes for them. "Thank you, Cecil," she says, with both surprise and gratitude, tying the fabric on.
After that's secure, she turns to Kat. "Probably should wait until after. The longer we investigate, the more chance it'll have to get the drop on us, and the more of... this," she gestures to all the sludge around, "It'll make, I'm sure. Especially if it's anything like the other one, which mentioned regeneration."

As the group presses onward, the particles in the air thicken even further, into a rancid miasma of foulness. New type of Field effects: Lair Effects.
Lair effects come into play when entering the established lair of a creature or entity that has had a prolonged period to work their will upon the surrounding area. These effects may be counteracted in some cases with the use of a Weather effect, but in some cases they may not be able to be dismissed.
Lair effect: Miasma Non-Poison or Steel types effected. Gas Masks and the Immunity ability nullify these effects on a target with the exception of injuries.
Subjects in Miasma add +1 DB to their poison attacks when calculating damage, and increase the range for a target to be poisoned by +5 if they are affected by Miasma. All subjects affected by Miasma are considered poisoned for the purposes of effects that check for statuses, such as Facade, Venom Drench, Guts, etc.
If a subject is poisoned in Miasma, they receive a Festering injury. Healing the poison effect and then reapplying the condition requires two instances to induce another Festering injury from there on out. A Festering injury requires a DC 18 Med Edu check to heal. Injured characters that are exposed to Miasma have their injuries become Festering at the rate of 1 injury per 30 minutes of exposure. Finally you reach the entrance to Utilities. The place is a massive room, with subwalls dividing up the sections. A mass of pipes leads to the right side of the space into what you can only assume is the water purification and filtration system; many of them cracked or damaged, mold and fungus heavy on some pipes while others drip with condensation. Massive cables coated with slime snake along the wall, all the way to the back where a series of silent generators sit. To the left are huge furnaces and cooling plants, connected to the ventilation system... And sitting in the center of all this is a pile of quivering goo. The stuff is repugnant in color and shape, seeming to shift every time you look at it. Thick cables of mucus-bound muscle fibers lead off of the main mass. Some of them terminate in large slime piles much like the ones the group had passed in the halls, while others extend into the ventilation shafts, trailing off into the distance. The mass curls and twists around many of the machines in the space like grotesque vines from a rotten plant, a layer of slime seeming to have covered everything even as the smell becomes nearly unbearable. The thing seems to be... aware of you are you approach. Through the minimal light provided by the emergency generators, you're able to make out tens, maybe hundreds, of masses suspended within the gelatinous bulk. Strange shapes crawl just under the surface, and you swear that you see faces pressing against the surface of the slime once or twice, gaping mouths open in silent screams; faces drawn into intolerable ecstasy. Truly this is an abomination...

Cecil slowly rolled his tongue along the inside of his lower jaw, just the slightest shudder to the breathy shush of air that escaped his mask. "I'm getting something bigger then a knife later. You're with me Kat. FINK! Jog it's memory about who we are, and what we're here to do!" Cecil lunged over the low dividing wall ahead of the group, with Fink breaking off to the left. Rounding the edge of the dividing wall, the gator's body seemed to vibrate, issuing a long but thin stream of black energy from it's maw, it soaked into the creature and suffused it with a reddish aura of suffering.
The greaser drew up Fink in a recall beam, and set out Slick a little ahead of him. "Keep it off-balanced and throw everything you have at it. Kat and I will keep it's attention best we can!" Fender joined the field a second later. Cecil needed options and he intended to give himself as many opportunities as possible.

As the group enters the Utilities room, Christine shudders in horror. This... thing... it's nothing that she could have imagined even in her darkest nightmares. Granted, that's a fairly low bar to step over for one who has lived in a Vault all their lives... but it's still magnitudes worse than what she could have thought up. Doing her best to squelch those feelings of horror and disgust - and not particularly succeeding - she takes better stock of the surroundings. There's the thing in the center, but there's also the masses elsewhere in the room, and all the slime covered machinery. Hopefully this thing hadn't irreparably damaged them. She momentarily wonders if it was just coincidence that the power went out right after they entered, or if it has some sort of malign intelligence. Those thoughts get swept away those as the others begin moving, and she shakes herself into action. Well, sort of. "Halo, stay here at the door. Stick close to Joyce," she tells the Skrubing that she'd been sticking close to while walking, before advancing a little into the room, towards the retaining wall. Clement slips off from around her shoulders, floating in midair. She isn't sure what to do about the blob, but at least the Chimecho seems to have some idea of what to do, as he briefly glows - similar to what happened every time he'd made her float. Christine waits for that floating sensation again... but nothing seems to have happened this time. She doesn't put too much thought into it, though, focusing on trying to find the feeling from before. This thing is monstrous, she needs to be able to protect the others. Concentrating on that, the shield of energy begins to form once more over Kat. The surface girl was always at the center of the fighting... hopefully she wouldn't find herself at the center of that gelatinous mass. Christine Initiative: 15 Clement Initiative: 15
Christine uses Sage on Kat, giving her +8 DR. Clement uses Entrainment on Christine, giving her the Probability Control ability.

Kat... can't... think. As soon as she sees the hulking... thing in the center of the room, her thought processes shudder to a halt, and one primal understanding lights up her adrenaline like a flame taking to motor oil: Either we're going to die, or it is. She holds back the wave of revulsion that would otherwise cause her to gag. No time for that. The eyeless monstrosity with its demented faces has seen them. She hears Cecil's call to action and gives a sharp nod, heading to the short dividing wall and hopping over it in a similar fashion en route to the main foe. Once she gets to the other side, she eyes the nearby slime pile warily. There would be no way for her to reach the core of the creature right yet; time to call on back-up. "Don't come close!" She calls out to Ghast behind her, making the little fluffball freeze on the section of sub-wall. "Tango-- time to show me what you can do! See if you can burn away some of that tendril shit, there!"Tango, the little recently-caught salandit, breaks out of the ball nearby with a flash, and immediately lets out a breath of flame towards the nearby green tendrils emerging from the back of the slime pile. Ember AC2, 18+ burns: WMUwDEj21d20+1 for 2d6+26 special fire damage.
Target is the tendrils at I25; trying to burn through it. If that's not a valid target, will instead choose the slime pile itself. 1d20+1·2d6+26

Amber goes silent at the appearance of the...the whatever this is. Goo beast? Pokemon? She grimaces as Petaran backs up nervously in the pipes, not wanting to get closer. She can understand why, and shakes her head, pulling Sapphire's ball from her belt.
"Sapphire, we're going to need as much power as we can force out, here. We can't linger," She says, smothering a cough.
Amber moves on 16. Amber will release Sapphire as a shift. As a standard, she issues orders to Sapphire--binding reckless advance and issuing agility training. B5BygZxa5d6 Perception if Relevant

As the group leaps into action, the mass of quivering sludge and goo begins to rouse, pulses of energy and light travelling along the mucus-encrusted tendrils. Shapes within the muck begin to twist and writhe... before clambering out of their putrid prisons. Many of them seem to be merely bones, held together with a viscous green ooze, skulls and other bones hanging within their fluid forms to give them additional shape and stability. The closest are hulking things, brutes that must surely be made to rend and tear asunder; the bodies of their likely victims merely giving them more mass to strike with upon impact. The ones farther away merge themselves with the gelatinous mass aorund them, and begin to flow their way up the tendrils, trying to get closer to the intruders. The two closest to Kat and Tango slither forth, trailing noxious green cords that link them to the slime pile that "birthed" them. One snaps its skull forward, quick as a snake, latching teeth into Kat's forearm and attempting to worry her like a Lillipup with a Rattata. [S1-3 Uses Bite. AC 2: 5. 41 Physical Dark Damage] The other attempts to distract Tango from her target, lashing out at the reptile with one limp that extends like taffy to snap forward like a whip. [S1-4 uses Vine Whip. AC 2: 8; 35 Physical Grass Damage] Further back more of them burst into being, but these are smaller, more streamlined, and seem to be gathering mass into themselves for some purpose. These things move quickly even as further back other piles begin to writhe, more forms beginning to stir to action. The forces arrayed against you are merely the vanguard. Unfortunately the things are slow to act, Fink's energy strike causing many of the piles to shudder and convulse, unable to react in time. Tango's blast of flame impacts the tendril, steam and bits of charred sludge flying into the air as an enraged burble issues from several of the piles. But it's Sapphire's attack that really provokes a reaction, frozen goo shards are sent flying, leaving behind exposed cords of tissue, bones, and other random bits of detritus that have been added to its mass over the centuries. Rather than the two constructs that have appeared in many of the other piles, only one forms here... but it's right within reach of Sapphire, and so retaliates in brutal fashion. Extending a pseudopod it lashes out, attempting to lash the water type with what looks like a whip made of algae, cathging the water type full across the snout thanks to it's all-in commitment to his attack. [S1-1 uses Vine Whip, AC 2: 4. 36 Physical Grass damage due to Sapphire being Vulnerable] Joyce hangs back at the entrance alongside Christine, watching in horrified fascination. "I don't think these things are poison types! They don't react right to fire and ice!" she calls out, trying desperately to be helpful. A bulge begins to protrude from the top of the mound, some bones visible in the base giving it some support... before it takes the form of a blank-eyed woman. If not for its composition, the length of it's "hair" and overall color, you'd call it a close match to Joyce in terms of features. Practically a familial resemblance... For the moment the mockery of a woman does nothing, merely watching the battle with an amused smirk on its face. ļřŖŖĊİřōşŝĊŚŖŏŋŝŏĘØ Cecil - 23 Tango - 20 Swarm 1 - 18 Amber - 16 Christine - 15 Clement - 15 Swarm 2 - 14 Sapphire - 12 Joyce - 11 Da Core - 10 Kat - 8 Fender - 5 - 1

"Oh, god..." Christine breathes, as the slime masses form. How many has this killed already? Is it even possible to stop? She shakes herself out of those thoughts of despair as she feels her connection to Kat wane. Which is not good, as the surface girl currently has a skull clamped on her arm. She moves closer, in order to keep her protection active, gesturing at Clement to get the closest thing. The psychic chime seems to understand, as he unleashes a psychic blast towards the gelatinous mass. The thing that disturbs her the most, though, is the woman who forms atop the center pile. Could that have been a person? Were they subjected to the infusions, and left to turn into... this? Or is it just something that learned, based on who it absorbed? She doesn't know what possibility worries her more. Although, regardless... it does make certain parts of the tapes that they'd found make more sense. Even though everything that they've seen so far, what they've learned throughout the facility, what's happening right now, says otherwise... she has to know. If there's anything in there resembling a human, if there's anything that could be reasoned with. Looking up at the woman-thing, she calls up, "Who - or what - are you?"Christine uses Sage on Kat again.
Clement uses Psywave on S1-2. 11 vs AC 5, for 20 HP loss.

Before the monster had become the congealed damnation of so many dead, it had been a woman. A proud, stern woman, who had stood against much of what Sampson had set out to do here. Over time that had been eroded away with the same genetic cocktail many of the staff suffered with him at the head of things. This was what remained of the people that hadn't escaped. It was all that would remain after it consumed every last living thing in vault 116. There was too much poison, just as Horachne had said.
It had always been that way. First morally. Then physically.
Cecil was thankful in some ways that he had always been a taker, and a hoarder. Darts, bent wrenches, the odd gear. With only the one knife, and the odds stacking against him, he was starting to get far more creative with his choice of weapon. A barrage of small objects he'd found around the lab, taken from Purewater that would never go missed, or nicked from the garage volleyed into Kat's assailant.
Shivering with Anticipation, Slick turned itself towards Sapphire and arced a wad of exploding mud into the figure yet writhing it's way free of the slime pile. It's work done, the Pokemon dove back into it's ball and to safety.

Kat weathers the blow, feeling the aches from her earlier injuries, and flashes a thankful smile over her shoulder at Christine. She eyes the two that have risen nearby, noting their positions. "Tango, line 'em up and hit them with poison!" she calls out, seeing the lizard scamper around her to get both in her sights. Tango lets off a line of Smog to hit both of the risen jellyskellies. Tango moves around Kat to L23. Uses Smog on S1-3 and S1-2.

"Sapphire!" Amber cries out, watching the hardy pokemon get knocked backwards. The pokemon rises to shakey feet, wavering. Amber hesitates, swallowing hard and peering into the mass of once human women in the midst of the goo even as it forms another woman's form. She takes a deep breath and pulls a pokeball from her pocket.
"Sapphire! Hit him again!" She calls out, waiting until after the attack to throw the ball to return Sapphire. "Topaz!" She cries. "I'm going to need your help! "

The mass in its entirety shivers and quakes as the vaulties begin to press the attack. Cecil's volley of junk causes his target to ripple back and forth, swaying like a reed in the wind, before the barrage ceases. The objects stick in the thing's mass, destabilizing it and causing the tendrils worming through the "body" to be severed. The blasts of smog from Tango causes their slime to begin to flake and crack, lurid purple discolorations staining the masses. The two farthest masses surge forward, but rather than going to attack Kat, they emerge from the sheathe of slime they'd been traveling through, and slowly gliding towards the knot of people and pokemon clustered at the entrance. The two that have been attacked by Kat and Tango attempt to take advantage of the girl's predicament. The one to her left splits nearly all the way down the middle, and attempts to slam her between it's two halves. It fails, barely, the slime slapping against the body armor Kat is wearing and sliding off the slick plastic. The one to the right of Kat focuses on Tango, lowering its mass and gathering like a spring before launching its skull forward on a piston of slime. Tango merely ducks under it, looking contemptuous. Further away, the remaining slime creature that Sapphire had attacked reels back before darting through the slime, going around the gator... and attempting to land a glowing purple lash against Fender. The little Aron simply looks up curiously at the strike as it slides off of his shell. Christine takes in the tableau, making note of how these things are reacting to the various attacks. ʮ˂ʿɺˀ˃ˌʿɺʻˎˎʻʽ˅ɺˀˌˉˇɺʿʻˌˆ˃ʿˌɺˍʿʿˇʿʾɺˎˉɺ˂ʻːʿɺʾˉˈʿɺːʿˌ˓ɺˆ˃ˎˎˆʿʆɺˑ˂˃ˆʿɺʭʻˊˊ˂˃ˌʿʁˍɺ˃ʽʿɺʻˎˎʻʽ˅ɺ˂ʻˍɺʾˉˈʿɺˋˏ˃ˎʿɺʻɺʼ˃ˎɺˇˉˌʿɺʾʻˇʻˁʿɺˎ˂ʻˈɺʿ˒ˊʿʽˎʿʾʈʀˈʼˍˊʕɺʟːʿˈɺʻˎɺˌʻˈˁʿʆɺ˓ˉˏʁˌʿɺʻʼˆʿɺˎˉɺˇʻ˅ʿɺˉˏˎɺˍˇʻˆˆɺˑˌ˃ˁˁˆ˃ˈˁɺˀˉˌˇˍɺˎ˂ʻˎɺʻˎˎʻʽ˂ɺʻˈʾɺʾʿˎʻʽ˂ɺˎˉɺˎ˂ʿɺˎʿˈʾˌ˃ˆˍɺˊˏˊˊʿˎ˃ˈˁɺˎ˂ʿɺˍˆ˃ˇʿɺʼʿʻˍˎˍʈʀˈʼˍˊʕɺʮ˂ʿ˓ɺˆˉˉ˅ɺˆ˃˅ʿɺʿˈˆʻˌˁʿʾɺːʿˌˍ˃ˉˈˍɺˉˀɺˎ˂ʿɺˍˎˌʻˈˁʿɺˍʻˇˊˆʿɺ˓ˉˏʁʾɺˀˉˏˈʾɺʼʻʽ˅ɺ˃ˈɺˎ˂ʿɺˆʻʼɺʻˌʿʻʈʖʼˌʘè Clement, taking aim at the nearest slime creature, a lance of psychic energy spearing into its mass and setting it to quivering. On the right side of the chamber, the two farthest things slide beneath the ooze, before the bits and bobs that make up their mass are seen practically flying through the tendrils, en-route to the main mass. It seems that they're able to travel through the slime at much greater speed than they would have been capable of outside of the mass. The two closest however slither free of the mass, moving closer to their targets, they launch globs of toxic goo... right at Fender. Once again the goo simply slides off of his steel shell. Sapphire, taking the brief respite to collect himself, turns and dashes at the slime attacking Fender in melee. His jaws manage to close on a large mass, ice crystals spreading outwards through the thing's structure. It thrashes wildly, heavily damaged but not quite to the point it can't maintain its cohesion. It snuffles, before seeming to grow larger, its vines becoming thicker and longer somehow. The core begins to twitch and vibrate, before a booming "voice" emanates from it. Rather than the expected female voice, the timbre is that of a male, though heavily garbled thanks to it's mode of "speech". "FENDER! Stop playing around, we're going to show this sack of shit you don't mess with three sixteen! Aim high!" With a shrill, metallic cry, the aron shuffled away from his assailants without concern to the little clinks of it's legs on stone. It wasn't particularly fast, and tilted it's head, observing Cecil's lunge towards the hulking blob. Seeming to take the hint, it braced itself and started unleashing small, round metal shot into the ceiling. Sections of pipe and chunks of concrete raining down on it, as Cecil slashed wide and used the opening to lunge through the outer membrane. Seizing half formed nerves and muscular tissue, he heaved as he back stepped.
"THIS IS WHAT YOU DESERVE SAMPSON! TO BE A ROTTING PILE OF SCUM LOCKED IN A DUNGEON! Cecil reversed the hold on his knife, a piece of the mass still clutched in his other hand as goo rolled into the space he'd left between them.

At the voice, Christine is taken aback. The mention of 'continuing work' makes her wonder if this could possibly be Sampson. At least in some form. And that kindles some fire in her, as she thinks of all the lives that he had ruined. All the problems that he had caused. She takes a tentative step towards the monstrosities that had begun to make their way around the wall, in order to maintain the protection around the surrounded Kat. "Don't go too far, Kat," she calls to the surface girl, voice straining a little bit, "I can only do so much. I can't protect you if you're too far." And that was a failing. One that she could try and fix later. But now, she had other problems to deal with. The mist was concerning, but nothing that she could immediately do anything about. The approaching figures on the other hand... "Get those things away, please, Clement," she says to the windchime next to her head, before addressing the figure above. Cecil had already said nearly everything that needed to be said, but he was wrong on one front. "No," she puts strength into her voice, though doesn't flat out yell. "Even this is too good for you. You don't deserve to be able to cause more pain and suffering. So, you can go. Rot. In. Hell."She turns over to talk to the others, her message delivered. "There are creatures swimming around inside the slime, like the one in the infusion lab. The ones taken to the Overseer's office. I think basically ice is the only thing that'll really stop them, short of excessive force. And don't try zapping it, Amber!" she adds, glancing at the recently released electric mouse. "I don't think it'll do much, if anything!" Christine uses Sage on Kat. Clement uses Confusion on S1-5. 10 vs AC 2 for 38 Special Psychic damage.

Kat sees the few approaching Christine and Amber, and a spike of worry shoots through her. "Take 'em out faster, Tango!" she hisses, swinging viciously at the one between her and the other two. Tango sidesteps and uses Smog again in a line going west (moved so as to not hit Kat): AC7: Folw74qP1d20+1 for 1d8+27 special poison.
Kat uses Rage on the one southwest from her. AC3: 1d20 for 1d8+19 normal physical. Kat goes enraged. 1d20+1·1d8+27·1d20·3d12+23

"Yeah," Amber says drolly, mostly to herself. "Just give up, says the goo skeleton monster. That's convincing..."
She shakes her head and glances towards Christine, eyes widening when she notices the active figures moving in on the medic. "Topaz, there!" She cries out, slipping out of the relative safety of the tunnel. "Protect Christine!"
Topaz moves on 24 and uses Thunder Shock on S1-5. 9oMEcouG1d20+1 to hit. 2d6+23 special, electric on the slim chance it's not immune.

Cecil's instructions to Fender, have the tiny mon waddling away with an indifferent snort at the slime creatures that have been attacking him. This... proves to be a mistake. The slime creature swells... before lashing out with an engorged paw, fluids having collected to make the point of contact much larger. Then the "paw" detaches, flinging through the air and bursting against Fender like a grotesque water balloon. Attack of Opportunity AC 3: 18 Special Water Damage: 23 Cecil's strike certainly garners a reaction, along with Fender's own attack, ripping a gaping hole in the thick membrane of the slime. Cecil pulls out dripping gobbets of slime, bundles of nervous tissue... and wires? The mass howls and shrieks, a large rend in the main "body" oozing slime. It begins to heal, but it may take time... Topaz immediately moves to defend his trainer and her friends, cheeks sparking dangerously as it glares at the encroaching slime beasts. A visible stream of electricity arcs off of the little rodent, slamming into the slime pile. Crackling waves of energy suffuse it, and it seems to have seriously compromised what passes for a muscular system for the beast. It's thrashing slightly, slowed down by a huge margin. Tango's target burbles as it begins to lose cohesion. It's still holding itself together, barely. This close, Kat can make out the tiny entities making up the nerves of the slimes beginning to falter and float listlessly. Unfortunately for Tango, Kat and Fender, the slime piles closest to them are still up and moving. The one facing the salmander snarls, before retracting its skull deep into its mass... and then punching it forward to smash the white reptile directly in the snout. Headbutt AC 3: 10 Physical Normal Damage: The one facing Kat allows its jaw to hang in a fleshless leer before lashing at her with a long, sickly green tendril. Vine Whip: AC 2 Physical Grass Damage: 29 Fender doesn't escape either, the slime ball that had hit him with water dragging itself after, trailing tendrils of nerves. It seems that this has affected its aim though, the attempted head-smash spanging off his armor and cracking the concrete to the side of the little Aron. Headbutt AC 3: 3 - missed The two that are slithering closer to the non-combatants decide to get proactive. One lurches forward, before twirling a set of tendrils about its body, getting them longer and longer, until it suddenly snaps them forward. The tendrils lash out... and snag Clement, ripping him away from Christine. The slime thing seems almost irritated as it "looks" back at its paralyzed partner. Threaded Grab AC 6: 14 Amber steps up at that point, bringing her strange weapon to bear on the target that Topaz had made an easier target. Drawing a bead down the sights of the gun, she squeezes the trigger... and a continuous bolt of bright blue energy slams out. The slime thing barely has time to make a noise before it connects... and with a grating creaking sound, becomes a solid mass of frozen goo. The phantasmal bandages continue to persist as Christine moves forward to keep Kat in range. Clement, ripped from beside her, decides to take advantage of the opportunity, sending a pulse of psychic energy that causes much of the thing's body to explode outwards in a shower of green ice and metal fragments. There's still some mass left to the thing, but it looks like a good solid hit will put it down for good. One of the shifting masses within the core, speeding its way towards the fight suddenly bucks and jerks... before disolving entirely, its mass spreading out to hasten the filling in of the gaps that Cecil and Fender had made. The others continue on their way. S2-3 cannibalized. (Perception checks please) The two that were out and about though, have something very different in mind. One swells up, before arcing a burst of water over the massive tendril on the ground, and smashing Fender into the floor with the force of the downpour. The other breaks away, apparently attempting a pincer attack on the non-combatants near the door and forcing itself to move faster. Away from the slick slime tendrils, they appear to have a much harder time getting around. Water Gun AC 2: 14 Special Water Damage: 28 Joyce, seeing Clement captured, shakes her head angrily. "Primrose, get him back here!" The Tangela grunts, before lashing out with his vines in a manner similar to what the slime beast had done. Clement is once more skidding through the air, though this time back towards safety. "Now, use Mega Drain on that thing!" Primroase launches dozens of tiny filaments, sinking deep into the mucus making up its target, before they begin to glow a brilliant green. The beast actually seems to be loosing mass, before the attack finishes. Threaded Pull on Clement for Shift Mega Drain AC 2: 14 Special Grass Damage: 30 Kat has netered a frothing fury now as she swings wildly. Unfortunately the slime monster she faces manages to split its mass around the blow. Above you all, the slime girl frowns... before blowing a kiss at Cecil, sending a shimmering cloud of motes at him, posing provocatively afterwards. ʧʻʸɳˀ˂ˇʸˆɳˆˊʼ˅ʿɳʴ˅˂ˈˁʷɳˌ˂ˈ˅ɳʹʴʶʸɿɳʴɳʵ˅ʸʴˇʻˌɳˉ˂ʼʶʸɳˆʸʸˀʼˁʺɳˇ˂ɳʹʿʴ˂ˇɳʹ˅˂ˀɳˇʻʸˀʁɹˁʵˆ˃ʎɳɵʬɺʾˁ˂ˊɳʶˈˇʼʸɿɳˇʻʸɳʗ˂ʶɳʻʴˆɳʴɳ˅ʸʴʿʿˌɳʺ˅ʸʴˇɳˀʸʷʼʶʴʿɳ˃ʿʴˁʁʁʁɳʴˁʷɳˊʸɳʶ˂ˈʿʷɳʻʴˉʸɳˆ˂ˀʸɳʹˈˁʁɹˁʵˆ˃ʎɳʜɳʶʴˁɳʵʸɳʴˁˌɳ˂ʹɳˇʻ˂ˆʸɳʺʼ˅ʿˆɿɳʴˁˌɳʺʼ˅ʿɳˌ˂ˈɳˊʴˁˇʁɹˁʵˆ˃ʎɳʢ˅ɳʜɳʶʴˁɳˊʸʴ˅ɳˇʻʸˀɳʴˁʷɳʿʸˇɳˌ˂ˈɳʻʴˉʸɳˇʻʸɳ˅ʸʴʿɳʷʸʴʿɳˊʻʼʿʸɳˇʻʸˌɳʸˁʽ˂ˌɳˇʻʸˀˆʸʿˉʸˆɳˇ˂˂ʁɹˁʵˆ˃ʎɳʘˉʸ˅ˌ˂ˁʸɳˊʼˁˆʁɹˁʵˆ˃ʎɳʪʻʴʷʷʴɳˌʴɳˆʴˌɳʻˈʻʒɵʏʵ˅ʑè Cecil - 23 Topaz - 24 Tango - 20 Swarm 1 - 18 Amber - 16 Christine - 15 Clement - 15 Swarm 2 - 14 Joyce - 11 Da Core - 10 S1-5 - 9 (frozen/Paralyzed) Kat - 8 Fender - 5 Slimegirl- 1

I'm not going to say it was damage, but it was damage.

Cecil stared up at the woman with her blank eyes, and slender figure, the din of the fight almost growing more distant. The gas mask kept his expression hidden and blank, but his body language was more relaxed then it should be. Pulling a ball with a long W etched on it, Taking a step back he gave it an underhanded toss to his left to land in the middle of the swarms that were still gnashing and striking at the girls. "Slick, clear the chaff away from my girls." He brought his attention back to their 'hostess', tucking a hand into his pocket and spreading his stance a little.
Slick let out a small wet noise, cementing itself to the floor with a slimy adhesive. Palpable waves rippling along the barboach's body, they became more and more violent and pronounced. The cement began to crack and split beneath it, the force of the shock wave ripping through the three monstrosities around it, only to be drawn away again in a beam of light, Cecil casually putting Chassis beside Fender to better hold the line.
"Could I see Annabelle? I'd like that, she always did have quite the figure." He flirted with the creature.

The room is filled with chaos, and Christine is mostly concentrating on keeping close enough to Kat to keep her protection up. So when Clement is abruptly yanked away from next to her, it comes as a shock. She doesn't even have time to cry out, though, before he's being pulled backwards. She follows the vine, to see Joyce's Pokémon. Christine nods her thanks, before looking over the field. There's an awful lot of those things right in front of her and Amber, with more around Kat. When she looks over at Cecil, though, she gets an odd sense of deja vu as the slime girl blows a kiss at him. It almost feels like it happened twice... She doesn't have a whole lot of time to process that feeling, though, as Cecil tosses out something that causes a fairly sizable disturbance. To put it lightly. When she looks back, there's a lot of crumbling debris - including the wall just past Amber - and no more creatures. Well then. Not one to question the turn of events, she turns back to where Clement's floating next to Primrose, and says "Okay, can you stop the one over there?" She points to the one approaching where Cecil is from the right. In response, Clement floats over towards it, and makes a very soft, soothing, ringing noise. Perception: 6
Christine uses Sage on Kat. Clement uses Yawn on S2-2. -2 For intervening terrain doesn't matter, since Yawn can't miss. S2-2 will fall asleep after its next turn.
