Some undetermined time later... Rei vs Nemae!
Nemae only has three Pokemon, so that's all they'll use. Three each with no items.
Nemae begins by throwing a poke ball out. From it materializes a strange, sun-looking Pokemon.
"This is Sonne, a Solrock. It and its counterpart, Lunatone, are very rare Psychic Pokemon from Mt. Moon."
Init - 13
On its turn, Sonne will use Light Screen, then Nemae will trigger Force of Will, allowing it to use Reflect immediately.

Rei considers her options. She hasn't had a non-random match in a while, and carefully considers her options. She has quite a few who haven't battled much lately, or at all in some cases, and decides on three. She throws out the first, the ghostly Yagami! Seeing her prepare the barriers, Rei tells Yagami to sneak in there before it's given the chance to bolster defenses. And then again, after the barriers have been risen! Round 1 Yagami - 20

With a quick flurry of blows, Yagami the Illuseon rips apart the Solrock in record time. Needless to say, Nemae is quite shocked. She quickly sends out Mond, her Lunatone. It bolsters its defenses in an attempt to withstand Yagami's blows better.
(Not so) Phenomenal Cosmic Power! +1 DEF/SDEF CS. Type Strategist activates for +5 DR.

The floating moon shatters a Reflect barrier to negate Yagami's type advantage. It then tries to put the spectral Eeveelution to sleep.

Right as Yagami wakes up, he gets blasted. Another attack like that, and Yagami is down. With potentially only one more move, Yagami attempts blasting again! Rei uses Inspired orders

Yagami falls, and Rei recalls him. "Well done, Yagami. Now then. Koto, please come out."The beautiful fire-fox hits the field, and begins summoning ghostly embers around herself. Koto - 8 Inspired Orders
Koto uses her ability Fox Fire! Three wisps are summoned. Every time Koto is targeted by a foe within 6 meters, Koto can use Ember as if it were on her move list as a free action interrupt.

Sensing a moderate psychic aura from the fox, Nemae has Mond improve its defenses further.

The rock doesn't even blink (not that it has before, but still) as the flames hit it. It doesn't seem bothered by them at all. Weird. It then throws some rocks.

Koto seems confused as the attack hits but doesn't seem to do anything. But there's not a lot of time to think about that, as rocks begin flying toward her. But in retailation, one of the floating fires turns itself into an attack! The attack hits, and even with the weakness, it wasn't very strong. Koto fires back with fire of her own! DUAL EMBER BABAH

With the attack not doing much, Rei looks to Koto. "She's only got one more and this one's too tough for you. Scare it off."With that, Koto snarls at the floating pokemon, hoping to scare it back to it's ball. Koto declares roar (Takes effect at the end of turn)

Before Koto gets her chance, she is taken out by more rocks. Rei frowns. Her early lead is now turned into a lead for Nemae. Time for her newest evolution! Magnes takes the field to be her final ward!
