The poor little cleffa with its cute bow was not expecting that and shrieks in terror as the acid creates little burns on its skin. It blows a little kiss at Sheru.

The attack pings off the helmet and doesn't seem to affect Sheru much. Ecstatic that his helmet protected something, he fires back! Acid vs BillieJean

BillieJean faints! JoJo looks saddened, but not terribly surprised. Just as she recalls it, a sleek-coated Rattata (also sporting a cute bow) comes rushing out from underneath the table, fangs bared at Sheru. It puffs itself up to look intimidating as it prepares itself.

Sheru's armor is slightly dented as the Rattata blasts him forward and then back again. He clasps his 'shell' tight, terrified of the next bout of attacks. "Come on Sheru! It's vulnerable now! While walking along the tree line next to the dirt road leading to Cerulean Cape Town, Rei feels something heavy drop into her bag completely out of the blue. Stopping to check it out, you see a stripey brown and white tail sticking out of your bag and the sounds of munching. Grasping the tail and pulling reveals a stripey raccoon Pokemon with a face full of whatever snacks you may have had in your bag. It gives you a goofy smile.

Rei smiles, and puts it down in her lap. She'd ask it later if it wanted to stay around. One way or another she had to head back to the guild.
Silly me forgot to ask details for this mission. I guess I was just hoping to be accosted by unruly pokemon and have Shinpuru wipe them out! So we will head back with our new friend, get it fed, and then get some answers.
Along the way she pulls out her tome to get info on it. Afterall, she can't just feed it anything.
