"You.. you can talk?!" He asks it incredulously.
"..o.sis.." it responds.
"This.. this is incredible! I knew it was cognizant, but I had no idea it was capable of speech yet. This is truly remarkable! I must make a note of this! It's advancing far faster than I had ever imagined it would!" He quickly resumes the furious scribbling. The creature looks at you.
"Sol..o...sis.." You aren't sure what it's saying, perhaps it's greeting you? It mostly just floats there otherwise.

Rei, now with time, has also begun a full diagram of the creature on her notes to give to the doctor.

Distracted by his notes/barely contained enthusiasm, the doctor looks up. "Hm? Oh, when was it formed? Let me think.. I believe it was.. perhaps five to six months ago? It's in my notes someplace, I don't recall the exact date. That's the general time-frame though."

Sensing another attack coming, Joey tells Rattata to 'get in quick!', but Rattata doesn't feel like attacking the cute little mouse anymore. It's poor little heart is broken when Pichu zaps it again, knocking it out. Rattata faints, and Joey quickly calls out his second 'top-percentage' rattata!

Hikari zaps itself out as well as it does that, and falls with a squeak! Rei quickly recalls him and sends out Wir, her Tyrogue! As soon as he hits the field, he sidesteps the new Rattata, and goes to the right and almost strikes before switching to the left and attacking from there! Wir - 4 Wir uses Fake Out vs Rattata

Rei sees a girl around her age walking along with what looks like an animated toy soldier or something walking beside her. She seems to be another 'researcher' type of person, based on the many books the strange thing is helping her carry.
(Yes, it's that Engineer.)
