Rei - Solo RP & Special Missions

Around this time, Holly's Pumpkaboo returns with a pink-colored apricorn ball. She gently pats the little pumpkin as she stows it in her coat/jacket/thing. It then decides to bring her bag over to her, which she transfers 2 other battered apricorn balls into, which likely contain the remainder of the pokemon you saw her use when you fought her last week. If questioned, she'll indicate that Pumpkaboo is the friendliest (and newest) of her ghostly allies.

Holly stands up, examining the offered clothing closely. As she briefly holds it up against herself, you realize just how small she actually is (at least in comparison to you). The shirt alone would probably cover most of her 5'4 frame. She seems quite surprised at the size of it, obviously not having realized you were a giant. (Average citizen's height is probably 5'7-5'10 for women.)

"This seems.. big." is the only thing she says as she continues to poke and prod it, even tugging lightly on it and marveling at how durable it is.

She nods.

"Yes, too bright. Hurts eyes. I know places outside to hide, but... I've never been this far into the human lands on my own before."

While Rei searches for her sewing supplies, Holly begins stripping off her tattered clothing, which seems like it should just fall apart the moment she begins attempting to remove it. In fact, the shirt sort of rips apart when she tries to get it off, though the jacket came off with no trouble. If one felt like looking (and let's be honest, with her shirt in ruins, it's hard not to notice) they would discover that her "chest" is much larger than expected. She flushes red again, covering her exposed breasts by clutching her new shirt to herself. At least she knows what modesty is.

In addition to the remains of her old shirt, a fair amount of dried mud came out of her hair as the old shirt had remained intact just long enough to do this before tearing as she tried to pull the too-small garment over her head. With a fair amount of it removed, you swear you can see traces of blue in it. A rather light blue on the ends, in fact.

Assuming that Tiki and Clay have left the room long enough to give her privacy to change, Holly slowly stops blushing and just pulls the shirt on, loosening more dried mud from her blue-ish hair. There seems to still be quite a bit of it stuck in there that will need more effort to clear out, but the ends of her hair are most definitely a shade of light blue. And odd hair color, to be sure, but not only does her 'Sister' have purple hair, neither of them are fully human, so it would make at least some sense for them to have odd physical traits. She pulls her long-ish hair out from the back of the too-big shirt and works on the lower half next. Her old pants, not unlike her shirt, decide that now is a great time to give out, based on the sounds of ripping fabric that can be heard.

You can hear her stomach answer your question for you with a loud groan as she admits that the last thing she ate was some sitrus berries to aid in healing yesterday. You suspect this is at least part of why she's no longer she is no longer wearing the bandages she was wrapped up in when you saw her yesterday. Either she ate a whole bunch of sitrus berries, or she heals slightly faster than a regular human. Eh, chalk it up as just another 'Holly' thing. Easier than trying to explain it away. Of course, not long after she says this you hear a soft yelp and a thump as she trips on the over-sized pants and hits the ground. She claims she is not injured, but something still seems wrong, as even after getting the pants on she is struggling to get up; her limbs shaking slightly with the effort.

The sword is, surprisingly, no longer attached to her arm, but instead floating on its own nearby, dispelling any doubts that it is a living creature. She reaches out to it as you watch on, fascinated as it quickly re-wraps its red tassel around her wrist, which actually seems to help, as if she's drawing strength from it. She folds her arms across her stomach as she leans against the side of your bed, obviously worn out from just the effort of dressing. She blushes a little when she notices you watching her struggles, though she doesn't seem offended by your inaction, more embarrassed that you saw her struggle. While she had her shirt off, right before she noticed you glancing at her breasts, you recall seeing how thin she looked without that heavy jacket on. Poor girl doesn't look like she's actually been eating well at all.

A thought strikes you suddenly. Yesterday, she was being bandaged up by her sister, as if they'd just returned to their cave-home in the swamp recently. Her sister seemed very on-edge, even for someone who (according to Holly) generally hates humans to begin with. There was a certain desperation to her words and actions against you. It's almost as if you happened across them only a short time after Holly's supposed 'rescue' from D'Mara's clutches, and who knows what D'Mara did to her while she was a captive.

Tiki heads out soon to spend her day however she sees fit. It's cool seeing Holly again here in the guild. Tiki can't shake a feeling as she left the room though. Something about Holly getting to sleep in Rei's room, and Tiki has not seen anyone take up so much of Rei's attention either. Guess Rei wasn't going to have time to play with Tiki today....She would survive, but hopefully Tiki could squeeze in some time together later. Tiki decided to get her morning training done, and get out to do some battles.

Rei ushers her to eat more, truely becoming #TeamMom once more.

"No, please Holly. Eat up. I brought enough from the cafeteria for the both of us. Although I suppose you don't-
Hmmm. Ok, well here in the guild, we are all training to become guild adventurers and part of that means they'll have this place for us to stay in, as well as things like taking care of our pokemon and keeping us fed. There's always going to be plenty of food, so please.
Eat up, get yourself healthy again."

Rei goes for some of the stuff she brought with so she herself gets some breakfast as well.

Meanwhile, Shinpuru has stood perched nearby on a dresser, waiting for this 'Holly' to screw up. He was very ashamed that he let this strange swamp woman past him in the night. He's just biding his time, waiting for her to do something aggressive as an excuse.

Rei smiles as Holly seems to eat up. But she tries to reassure her. 

"Well what would you like to do? If you want to go back you can, it's not like it's a nation away or anything. I'm happy to have you here, but if you want to be with your sister again I won't get in the way. I could even supply you with stuff for the both of you if you'd want..."

Rei nods.

"Alright then, that's what we will do. And when you go and see your sister, I know she will probably say no; but I want her to know she's welcome to come down and get the same treatment that you are getting. If we are all meant to spend time together,
that means we should be nice enough to forgive each other for mistakes. When we originally met we made a wrong assumption with you,
and then that made your sister assume wrong of us. But I want her to know not all humans are bad, and we can take care of her as well"

She thinks for a moment before looking back.

"And Clay and Tiki aren't my family. I do have family, including sisters of my own, but they are split everywhere at this point. They are what I'd hope what we all can be. Friends! People who like each other enough to want to spend time with them."

She smiles before moving and gathering up a couple of towels.

"So are you ready to be clean, Holly?"

Rei begins escorting her, trying to also keep watch throughout the halls.

"Well no. Family are those that share blood with you. Friends are those you meet and you like that person so you get to know them, and you enjoy spending time with them and helping them as such. I know us three view our pokemon as friends like that.
Maybe you do too?"
