That's a hell of a rush, Rei doesn't even realize what's she's doing before they are in each other's embrace sharing passionate kisses. Rei has to stop it for a moment. Mostly for air, but also to wipe both of their tears away.
"There we go, that's better."
She looks at Holly's face for a moment before she can't help diving back in for kisses. Rei knows, somewhere back in her mind, that she should be worried that it's so easy to get lost in each other like this, as it feels like this could just 'happen' to the point it might be a genuine distraction... But in this moment, she doesn't care. At all. Whatever she's been hit seems to make it seem like if both of them are 'in sync' so to speak, it will amplify whatever they both feel to a fever pitch. If both of them are angry, they'd be turned into mini berserkers; if both of them are sad, they might be forlorn and unable to do anything. And here, if both of them are in love like they are, it's turned into Rei WANTING Holly more than anything.

After both parties have been satisfied fully, Holly giggles softly next to Rei. "I don't even know what came over me just there. I always feel that way about you, but it's like it was ten times stronger than normal and overwhelmed me before I could even think about it."

Rei just pulls Holly in a hug. She does indeed feel better, but her other things start to slowly trickle back in.
"...Yeah I know. I think the curse maybe amplifies our feelings if we both feel the same way? Like they reflect off eachother and strengthen. Cause I just couldn't stop myself. I just knew I needed you."
She pauses.
"It's equal parts great, and equal parts worrying."

Holly falls silent, considering Lia's words. "I'll wait a day and then go back to Sister to ask her to, at the very least, weaken the effects of this 'curse' or 'bond' or whatever she did to us. As much fun as that was just now, it got me (and probably you as well) thinking about what if it was a different emotion. That could easily be very bad for us."

Rei sighs sadly when she feels that. She doesn't really know how to turn it off, honestly.
"I know, I know... I'll just suppress it with all the feelings I don't want you to experience now. Like about how either everything has to be my fault somehow or how I push everyone away! Just push that down like everyone expects me to!"
Rei groans and stands to re-cloth herself. She's probably going to need to find Clay before anything and explain what the actual hell happened yesterday.

Rei sits back down.
"I want... something. At least some control. Even if we win in the end, only some of the things that have happened to me are due to this destiny thing. Even you trying to gain power to 'protect me' felt like just something else ripped out of my hands."
Rei looks off, and she's transmitting a bit of deep seated fear.
"It's just, every time I try to take something back, it feels like I lose more. It's like I'm in deep water, and I try to swim but a wave knocks me over and I'm struggling under the water. I feel like if it keeps going, I'll drown on the next big one."

Holly tries to project feelings of comfort and bravery as she hugs Rei. "I..don't know what else to say, Rei. I'm scared and overwhelmed by it too, but what else can we do but keep fighting against it all? If we give up, we are sure to fail, but if we fight, then we at least have some chance of success."

If there's one thing about this curse, it's way easier for Holly to comfort Rei when she focuses. Rei hugs her back and rests her head on Holly's shoulder.
"Ok... I won't give up... For you."
Rei calms a bit. She's still wondering if she's just the opposite of Lady Luck or she's really made mistakes along the way, but Holly probably doesn't have her answers. They embrace for a little while before Rei finally feels like she should get up. She picks her berries/herbs for the day from her planters, and uses her more expensive ingredients to make more vitamins for Shinpuru. Shinpuru seems to have reached his max of those for now, so any more will have to go to the rest of her team. She looks to Holly after she's done.
"Alright, Clay will just chase us down for answers if we don't go explain things to him. Because I was too focused on getting you home last night I wasn't able to tell him (Or wanted to speak at that moment). So we should probably talk to him. Then I have something I found yesterday, something related to our past trip here, and I'd wish for you to accompany me."

Holly also gets dressed while Rei is tending to her Pokemon. "Oh? Okay. You know I'll do anything for you." Holly makes sure to spend extra time with Honedge and Trevenant for what she had to put them through last night. Rei gets the feeling that Honedge would brush any injuries off as nothing.

Holly listens as Rei lays out her plan. Rei's 're-freshening' of the old marker seems to have held, as it's not too difficult for the Umbreon Siblings to detect.

It's a long, relatively quiet journey. Holly seems contemplative, and says nothing the entire trip unless Rei prompts her first. A couple hours later, their small group has approximately traveled the requisite ten miles. Now...to find that marker. Of course, as Rei pointed out, she has no idea where to go after that. It's all the information Kopi ever gave her.

Rei 'Hmmms' as they arrive to the aparrent 'area'. There's nothing immediately, but if stuff is hidden with dark type stuff before, maybe it could be something bigger? She (and her team) take a look around. Perceptions!

After failing to see anything in the air and after searching the whole surrounding area looking for something, and coming up with nothing, Rei sighs, a little defeated.
"Well I don't really have any more ideas. I guess it was a foolish thought in the first place. Let's just get back."
