Rei - Solo RP & Special Missions

Cindy laughs. "Yes, you certainly don't look like a seasoned fighter. Especially with that fancy dress-robe-thing of yours. Though it didn't seem to slow you down any. As for bringing you here, it's like I said: it's the honorable thing to do for your opponent. I'm sure you would have done the same. Well, perhaps not carried me back to town, but stayed with me until I awoke again."

Cindy laughs again, grinning widely. "Yes, I suppose if you're traveling a lot you must have some medicines on hand. Point is: It was the first thing that came to mind, and we'd have come back to town anyway for proper care. In any case, now that you're up and feeling better again, time for me to hit the road again. Lots more training to do." She pauses as she's about to walk away. "Oh, before I forget: we gotta battle again sometime. It's great practice for all involved." Once the conversation is finished, she waves goodbye as she heads for the mountain.

In the morning, Rei gets quite the surprise. She awakens to find the weird swamp girl in her room, touching her hair. She can be heard muttering quietly about how soft it is. The red sword is still attached to her arm, but seems like it's either asleep or otherwise dormant for now. When she notices you're awake she freezes in place, a faint blush creeping onto her pale visage.

"..." The stranger-by-the-second girl blushes more, seemingly too embarrassed that she got caught in the act to speak. Or maybe she can't speak? You never heard her say a word before. She slowly backs away from you, indicating non-hostility. Somehow, she doesn't even make a sound as she moves. Perhaps that's why your Pokemon didn't prevent her entry, because they couldn't hear her enter? She shyly looks away from you, with occasional quick glances back towards you as she huddles in the far corner of your room. (Due to its small size, Steel Branch has individual rooms for anyone who is part of it, though the beds aren't quite as nice as the ones in Normal Branch.)

"Y-you're pretty...so I followed you..." she mumbles, almost inaudibly. She remains in her corner, seemingly unconcerned about your mention of D'Mara or her sister's words. The sword seems to be awake now, it's single, blue orb staring you down. It doesn't seem hostile though, maybe it feeds off/mirrors the girl's feelings at a given time due to the supposed possession?

"Sister calls me... Holly... Umm.. I.. here!" She produces a pitch-black cloth from the bag you didn't notice she had (it was possibly stashed in the corner?) and offers it to you, blushing even more. Rei recognizes this item, it's called a 'Reaper Cloth', and is said to be an item strongly associated with ghosts and spirits.

The only explanation she offers is: "Erm.. Sister says you should give gifts to... ones you... attract to?"

Seeing her much closer now than the last time, and without the chaos of battle to worry about, you notice that Holly has shoulder-length brown hair that seems to just hang out wherever it pleases, including bangs that cover her eyes unless she tilts her head back slightly. Her clothes are muddy (as one would expect, living in a swamp) and seem patchwork, like they've been damaged and repaired several times with different cloth. Her skin is quite pale, which also fits living in the darkened swamp. Even in the middle of the day it was quite gloomy in there with all the trees, which is probably part of the reason the mud is so thick.

She lowers her head to her knees, which have been drawn up against her chest. "N-no. Sister would never allow me to leave. Says Outsiders are evil and dangerous...but...you're pretty, and... erm...tried to get Sister to not fight. Y-you're the main reason all she did was Curse you... the others.. they were loud, and rude.... Sister hates loud.." She fidgets a bit, and you notice the sword's tassel tighten slightly around her wrist, almost as if it were... reassuring her?

Her clothing seems to consist of a threadbare set of pants, no shoes, a 'overcoat' of some kind that looks as though someone went at it with a sharp object with a barely-visible shirt beneath it.

"Al-also.. wanted to see you again.. because... pretty.." Her already quiet voice trails off as she mentions her attraction to you once again. Similarly with Clay, her vocabulary (or at least, her ability to exprss herself) seems limited. Odd, considering her sister seemed quite well-spoken. Maybe it's because she's shy?

"Sister was just trying to protect me... humans usually run away or beg when she starts talking about punishment or curses. N-not that we see m-many. S-she was afraid you were there to hurt me or take me away again."

When you mention going to get your friends, her expression changes briefly to fear.

"I.. don't do well with groups.. it's been Sister and I since forever...if it wasn't dark out, I probably wouldn't have come this far. Bright lights hurt.."

"I-if I go back, Sister will be very angry at me. It's home, but... I want to see other things sometimes. I-I've seen all of the Swamp already.. p-plus..I.. want to be near you.. but if you d-don't, then I-I'll go."

She seems to have...not thought this through very well. Her main reason for leaving seems to have been to come and find you again because of her strange affection for you (even though you've never spoken before).
