Boldore finally goes down. Kaeda sighs, pays out, and heads back to the center to swap out pokemon. Getting more money is a priority, so, she has to get back out there.
New team: Serperior, Chandelure, Shelgon, Butterfree, Lapras, Jigglypuff

As you go looking for another battle in hopes of earning some money back, you spot the strangest thing: a heavily armored person riding atop a black Rapidash with pale blue flames. They're headed right for you!

"What the f-!!" Kaeda quickly gets out of the way, and stares at what she just saw. "Huh!? Wha!? Watch where you're going!!" KAeda shakes her fist at the reckless...knight?

The armored horseman stops a short ways past you and returns. "Sorry about that. Shadowmere can't turn on a dime, ya know. We were just out for a run." The person takes off their helmet, revealing shoulder-length blonde hair and light brown eyes. She tucks her helmet under an arm.

She did not care whoever was out for a run, but this rapidash was pretty incredible. She was not in a great mood, and felt like fighting someone. Hopefully this would go better than the last encounter... "Whatever. Hey, you wanna battle?"

She looks you over. "I won't turn down a good fight, but I warn you that we won't hold back. There is a reason I am called 'The Flayer'. Oh, my name is Lynlara, by the way."
I will use a minimum of 2 Companions, but I can go up to six. As the challenger, you may dictate the rules of combat."

Kaeda rises an eyebrow. "Uhh. Yeah. I'm Kaeda. Also, 3 pokemon is fine."

Grinning at your expression, she winks and places her helmet back upon her head.
"Shadowmere and I shall begin."
She mounts up on her Rapidash again and they trot several meters away to start the fight.
Shadowmere (Rapidash) - 36 (28 base + Agility Training (doubled due to Rider)) Lynlara - 24
As soon as your Pokemon enters the field, she spurs her Pokemon into motion, drawing a pair of pink-tasseled short swords as she goes. As she draws closer, you realize that those are not normal weapons, but a Pokemon! It's a Doublade being wielded as a weapon!
Lynlara and Shadowmere use Shadowmere's Speed Evasion while Mounted. (5)
Run Up: If the user moves in a straight line to a target and hits with a damaging Melee attack, it may add the number of meters traveled in a direct line as Bonus Damage to a Damage roll. Meters traveled: 14 (12 base speed + 2 from double agility training)
Shadowmere wreathes itself in flames as it charges!
Flame Charge AC 2 vs lGKGcC3y1d20 Damage: 2d6+44 (2d6+10+30 ATK+14 meters traveled) On hit: Raises user's Speed by 1 CS. 1d20·2d6+44

Kaeda nods, and tosses out her Shelgon, Quetzalcoatl. It roars as it takes the charge from the horse.

Shelgon takes a nasty swipe, but looks fine. Kaeda makes point to take out the Rapidash first. Kaeda moves away, and then blows a kiss to hopefully throw the woman off her game. Quetzalcoatl roars loudly, and charges the horse with great ferocity.

Cavalier's Reprisal AC 3 vs C2M7EFd91d20-2 Damage: 2d6+27
Shadowmere goes down, forcing Lyn to tumble to the side to avoid being stuck underneath her mount. Growling in anger, she slashes at Shelgon with a two-handed strike.
Retaliate AC 2 vs 1d20-1 Spent AP. Damage: 4d10+39
After the attack, she swaps in a new Pokemon.
"Yol, let us take to the skies!"
An impressive-looking Charizard emerges and stands by to allow her to climb atop its back. In the meantime, it strengthens itself.

Quetzalcoatl is brought down by the massive follow-up. Kaeda snaps her fingers, and swaps her pokemon. "Damn! Let's bring them down, Nemesis!" The big, blue beauty pops out, and lets out a cry, and nods to its trainer.

Lynlara climbs into the special harness strapped to her Charizard's back, and they both take to the skies, flying well out of reach of most ranged attacks. Charizard roars mockingly at the Lapras.
Ride As One: Whenever one of you receives initiative, either of you may take your turn. When the next person receives initiative, the one who did not go before may now take their turn.
Lyn's Free Action #1: Mount Yol (Acrobatics check auto succeeds due to Mounted Prowess) Lyn's Shift Action: Have Yol fly 5 meters up.
Yol's Shift Action: Dive back down at Lapras. Yol's Standard Action: Use Slash (Pass) Trigger: Overrun (Free Action). Your Mount with Run Up makes a Damage Roll with a Dash or Pass Move. Effect: Your Pokemon adds their Speed Stat (30) in addition to their normal attacking Stat to their Damage Roll. The target gains Damage Reduction equal to their own Speed Stat.

Both pokemon and trainer take a lot of damage, but remain standing. Kaeda marks the trainer, and blows another kiss to put the enemy charizard to sleep. Nemesis sings a song to put all the enemies to sleep.
MArked Lyn Lovely kiss AC 6 vs dYPfWjCg1d20 target falls asleep
Focused AC 10 vs 1d20+2 (spend ap) All legal Targets fall Asleep. On a miss, Sing instead causes targets to become Slowed and suffer a -2 penalty to their Evasion until the end of the user's next turn.
Whistful Melody: Connection – Sing. Whenever the user uses Sing, they may activate to his Ability to cause targets that are targeted by Sing have their Attack and Special Attack lowered by -2 CS each, whether Sing successfully hits that target or not. This Ability does not affect targets with the Soundproof Ability. 1d20·1d20+2

While Nemesis' song weakens and slows the pair somewhat, it does not have the desired effect of putting them to sleep. The slowing effect keeps them in melee range, however. Yol restores its strength somewhat, while Lynlara slashes at the Lapras with her swords.

Lyn puts herself in the path of the burning water to protect her Companion. She grimaces as it strikes her, but seems to be in good health still. Yol takes the psychic attack and keeps on going.
Lyn instructs Yol to fly up out of range again now that the Slowing effect has worn off. Yol flies up 13 meters.

Kaeda rolls her eyes, moves far away, and focuses. Nemesis cries out, and rainstorm soon follows.
Calm Mind & rain Dance
Raise the user’s Special Attack 1 Combat Stage and raise the user’s Special Defense 1 Combat Stage.
The weather becomes Rainy for 5 rounds. While Rainy, Water-Type Attacks gain a +5 bonus to Damage Rolls, and Fire-Type Attacks suffer a -5 Damage penalty.
