Tyrantrum growls as it really dislikes being poisoned, and it tries to stomp down on the trash pile. Norn's attack comes to life in full force against the bug.

Garbodor intercepts the Psychic attack! Scolipede swaps out with Baton Pass on its turn!
Intercept DC is 6, and is unfailable with 4d6+2 Athletics.
In Scolipede's place is a Venomoth. With only a slight nod from its trainer, the Pokemon begins to shine brightly as it is encased in a familiar, purple shell. When the light fades, Venomoth looks quite a bit different. Oh hell, did it just Mega Evolve?! It quickly flies up to the boundaries of the arena (8 meters high is still reachable by some attacks).

Garbodor evades the stomping feet while Venomoth begins an intricate dance in the air; its whole body quivering.
Quiver Dance raises SATK/SDEF/SPD by +1. Simple doubles these to +2!

Norn recovers some vitality as its attack rushes toward the moth. It also digests the Pecha berry it was saving for poisons. Samael isn't looking too good, so it goes all out trying to bring down the Garbodor in one shot.

Alas, the Garbodor is unaffected by the all-out Horn Drill. It punches Tyrantrum again. Venomoth seems only marginally injured by the psychic blast. It creates a substitute of itself to hide behind!

Samael is barley touched by the punch, and tries to stomp on the Garbodor again. The poison will also finally bring the big dino down. Norn then sets up a light screen for protection.
Orpheus is out next. She gets ready to Mega evolve as well.

The psychic blast from Mega Orpheus unfortunately misses its mark. It scatters some spikes again.
Garbodor uses Toxic Spikes! Orpheus and Reuniclus become Poisoned, losing 2 stages in SDEF.

Venomoth finally comes down to join the fight, having fully boosted. It blasts Reuniclus with waves of silvery energy.

Just as her Pokemon are about to attack again after dodging yet more psychic blasts, Mary hears Kaeda call out that she's forfeiting the fight. Mary shrugs and recalls her Pokemon.
Kaeda gets no xp, as none of Mary's Pokemon were fainted.
