The strangest thing happens. Kaeda bypasses the Kricketot, only to catch the barest glimpse of something pink out of the corner of her eye. That's odd. There shouldn't be anything pink in here unless those sneaky Ditto are still around, and they didn't seem super eager to follow them just for shenanigans. The novelty of their tricks wears off quickly, after all.

Kaeda catches the glimpse of pink, and heads towards it. Can't be having these ditto follow them home. Perhaps it was another pinkish poke. It was worth taking a look even when out Eevee hunting.

There it is again! It's too high for a Ditto though, unless they learned to climb. There's a lot of rustling going on, as if something is running through the undergrowth and/or being chased.

"Yeah. Something pink, and really fast. I'm going after it." Kaeda does just that, and starts climbing through brush to hopefully find that pokemon. She keeps her ears open for more rustling, and tries to find the source.

As Kaeda chases the rustling sounds, she begins to hear barking. Eventually, she comes across a pack of Mightyena that have cornered an injured Lopunny. An injured Lopunny with pink ears.

Kaeda gasps, and quickly jumps into action. She needs to act quickly, so she sends out 2 pokemon. First out is her Zangoose, Rider. It pops out of its ball, and flashes it claws at the Mightyena Next, is her Gabite, Seiryu, who growls at the doggos. "Get in there you two, and protect that Lopunny!" Both ferocious pokemon attack separate targets with their sharp claws.

The Mightyena spin around just in time to counter-attack! They snarl and lunge back at their new-found foes while the Lopunny merely cowers in fear.

Kaeda's team did not expect the massive speed of the dogs, but come back again with no fear. Teamwork is needed for this. They switch up their game plan, and fight together. They target 1 dog, Rider seeks revenge with a big swipe, and Seiryu slashes at the dog once again.

The Leader of the pack goes down crazy fast. Apparently they are fast, but not that durable. The other two quickly use Intimidate on Zangoose, then attack it!

Rider shifts its body to the side as it barley dodges the attack, and brings its claws down on the next dog, and Seiryu also slashes at the dog while trying to intimidate.

The two pokes are shaky, but are still standing. They both rush the final doggo with a flurry of sharp claw strikes.

Despite its best efforts, the remaining Mightyena is overwhelmed by damage and collapses.
Kaeda earns 102 Poke XP.
The pink Lopunny looks up timidly as the sounds of battle die down. It sees the three unconscious mightyena being lorded over by a bloodied/fierce-looking Gabite and Zangoose. It screes and faints outright from fright.

Kaeda comes closer as the danger has subsided, pets her pokemon, and gets them back to their balls to rest. She inspects the Lopunny, and gasps. This was no ordinary Lopunny! It's fur practically shined in the light! She looks over the pretty bunny, and notices its minor injuries. Kaeda then gets out some bandages to help with that, and rests the poor, frightened poke's head on her lap. She also has a bottle of water for the Lopunny to sip. "There we go. Come on now. Time to wake up."

It takes a minute or two, but the Lopunny does eventually come around. It looks up at Kaeda, then looks all around it. The unconscious Mightyena are still were they fell, but the scary pair are gone now, so it relaxes some. It looks back to Kaeda in confusion.

"Hi there. No need to be scared. I saw you rushing by, and I just had to investigate. I wasn't about to let those Mightyena hurt you, so I had my pokemon take care of them." Kaeda smiles warmly, and pets the Lopunny's head. "I also bandaged up your wound there. It should be fine as long as you don't aggravate it." She gives it a bit more water. "Moving around out here while injured could be bad. How about you join me? You're incredibly pretty, and I'll make sure that you are safe, and happy. How about it?"
