As the Spearow tried to flee from Bolt and head toward the Pidgey, Bolt let out a burst of electric energy, zapping the Spearow and robbing it of the last of its strength.
"Good job Bolt! We have to hurry, there's still one more Spearow. Try and get between them and protect that Pidgey! Give that Spearow an Electro Ball!," Jack said.
As Bolt ran towards the Spearow and Pidgey, Jack moved on the ground, trying to get in position to catch anyone--be it Bolt or the Pidgey--who fell out of the trees above. Bolt scurried up the trees, hopping from branch to branch and getting between the two birds, shielding the Pidgey. Then, between the two, he began to charge up another Electro Ball, the glowing orb of power growing on his tail.
"Pika...pika...pika...pika...pika...chu-pi!," He cried, unleashing the ball of energy, blasting the Spearow.
"Yes!," Jack said happily, under his breath, waiting for the dust to settle. He was happy Bolt was getting used to moving around in his new evolved body...and that his accuracy with Electro Ball had improved...but there was time to revel in that later. He needed to see if that Pidgey was okay.

Jack
The Spearow falls as Bolts Electro Ball connected with it, the Pickachu quickly coming to a stop on one of the lower branches, before looking at the Pidgey with a smile "Pi-pikachu!" He calls out to the little bird, who slowly pokes its head out of the brush, hopping out in front of Bolt nervously.
Luke
As Luke directs the little dog Pokemon, both it and its foe charge each other around the same time. Unfortunately they both tried to hit where the other had just been standing, so they just succeeded in switching places.
The smaller one sneered at Lukes new pal, who barked back this time, before looking at Luke and nodding
Dave
Dave was able to get the berry into his pocket but not notice the person who came up behind him and cleared their throat "Err, you might want to be careful. It looks like the little one has taken a liking to you"
Dave turned around to see a man only a few years older then him in a T shirt and Jeans, both clearly having seen better days "You see his mom IS somewhere around here....I'm just not quite sure where she is." He proffered a hand towards Dave with a smile "Names Jesse, I'm a Pokemon breeder who had come to see how some of the young ones I gave out did in the Tournament. Unfortunately during the scuffle with Team Plasma the ball I had been keeping the Ursaring in was broken and she got separated from me and this little guy"
The Teddiursa walked up and stood behind Daves leg, looking up at the Breeder "She's been on a rampage ever since. I could really use some help finding her and getting her to calm down, if you could spare the time. Seems like it might be a bit hard to pull the little one away from you as it is" He adds with a laugh

With the Spearow now dealt with, after an impressive display from Bolt, they could now turn their attention to the Pidgey.
"Hey there," Jack said as calmly as he could. "Don't worry Pidgey, we're friends," he added. "Come on over here, let's take a look at that wing of yours," he said.

"Well, I'm happy to try and test my strength against it..." Dave says, turning around and shaking the hand, "but, there's still a limit to how hard I can push Hal. Especially after the past few days. If you've got an idea of what techniques it knows, that would be helpful. Forewarned is forearmed, after all." He glances down at the Teddiursa. "Oh, uh, also, do you have a ball or something for that one down there. I don't know if it'll start crying again... and I'd rather not have it around if we're trying to subdue a mother Ursaring. That might just make things worse, if she thinks we're in between her and her cub. But... assuming I can get it to focus on Hal, I think I might have a plan. Depending on what techniques it knows. But I'd really not want to give it a reason to try and focus on us. Because, well... I don't know about you, but I sure don't have the ability to fight off an Ursaring."

Jack
The Pidgey hesitantly hopped over to Jack, urged on by an unusually calm Bolt. Upon it getting close enough, Jack was able to tell the bird had been beat on for quite a while, with most of its plumage ruffled and a few open wounds, though nothing too life threatening. A Pokemon Center or trained professional would be able to fix it up in a day or so, that much was obvious. But if it stayed out here....Well a weakened target was easy prey
Dave
"She's mostly just got normal type moves, though she packs a nasty Feint Attack, and her whole line was bred with some Granbull to harness some of that Fairy power. She can get a little rough, even when playing. This little guy too" He said nodding at the Teddiursa "Sadly, no, I don't have a ball for him. The mothers normally keep a close enough eye on em that I don't need to actually tag them until they've been picked out by a Trainer. For all intents and purposes, he's a wild"
He raised an eyebrow "So what's your plan?"

"It's fairly simple," Dave says. "We look... which is the hardest part, admittedly. When we find it, though, it should be easy enough for Hal to gain some speed, then float out of reach. With that all said and done, he should be able to either Web or Psybeam the Ursa with impunity, until you're able to recapture it. Preferably Electroweb, because that means that it hopefully should be easier to catch or, if need be, run away from. I just need to hope that he can survive long enough to build up the needed speed. If that doesn't work, well, I'm not quite sure what to do. Pokémon wrangling is not my forte. He ends with a shrug.

Luke
This time, the Lillpup knew better then to attack where its foe had been, instead charging to where it would be! With a final mighty push, it knocked the smaller and more vicious dog into a tree, finally causing it to run off.
The canine Pokemon ran back over to Luke, jumping up and attempting to lick him in joy.
Dave
Jesse nodded "It's worth a shot. I just wish I had brought more then her with me, I could have been a bit more help....Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained!"
The pair began to search for the large bear Pokemon, the Teddiursa tagging along behind Dave and Hal. Luckily the search wasn't too hard, large swathes of destruction paved a path to the Ursaring, who Dave could see standing next to a tree about ten meters away. Unluckily, as Dave noticed it, he also stepped on a twig, which snapped just loud enough to cause the Ursaring to notice him as well.
In a flash, the bear had almost cleared the distance between itself and Hal, standing just a meter apart where it proceeded to shoot a look of hatred at Hal

Upon seeing the Ursaring, Dave freezes mid step, and puts his foot down very gingerly. That wouldn't be a good thing to startle- *crack* Oops. Apparently he'd gingerly put his foot down on a twig. That was, in fact not a good thing. He idly remembered something about don't run when faced with an angry Ursaring, but that thought fled his mind as the beast lunged forwards towards him. Instead, he just heads towards the nearest crossing point he can, saying to Jesse as he goes that way, "Damn, that's fast. Move! Hal... Get up, keep her busy." That thing's too quick. If I try what I wanted to do, it'll just ignore Hal. Best thing to do right now is just... buy some time.Hal floats upwards, and over, hovering just above and in front of the Ursaring, so that it would have to jump to reach. He fires a psychic bolt at the bear... but misses. Well, it might have got her attention, at least. Dave Tags the Ursaring, and Sprints. 6m. What a time to have dumped Athletics.
Hal uses Trace on the Ursaring. He proceeds to gain and use Frighten on the Ursaring.
Hal moves up 3m, and north 1m, and attempts to use Psybeam on the Ursaring. 4 vs Ac2. If, for some strange reason it hits, 30 Special Psychic damage. Hal gains 1 momentum.

Dave
Hal begins to flash a multitude of colors at the bear, the larger Pokemon becoming slightly dazed and moving a little to the side, just in time for Hal to blast the ground where it just was with a Psybeam.
A moment later, it growled up at the Porygon before leaping a little off the ground and scratching across him with its claws.
Meanwhile, the Teddiursa toddles after Dave, looking back at its mother with a little bit of fear in its eyes, seeing her like this. At the same time, Jesse sneaks around a tree, attempting to get behind the Ursaring, getting a ball ready to throw, the black and gold of the Ultra ball glimmering in his hand

Dave's heart sank a bit with Hal. The Porygon was now in easy range for the large ursine... At least Hal knew what the general idea was, because he didn't want to call out, for worry of attracting the bear's attention. It wouldn't be good to draw it this way. At least he could recall Hal. Wouldn't quite work out as well the other way around... Watching apprehensively, he notices the little Teddiursa following him. Ah, dang it, he thinks. "Shoo," he hisses quietly, making 'go away' motions with his hands. "Don't follow me. You're a dangerous little thing, because I don't want your mother to think that I'm harming you, or something..."Hal once more attempts to fire... but, the sudden altitude loss seems to have caused problems with his aiming, and the shot goes wide. Dave uses Focused Training.
Hal misses with Psybeam. Again.

Dave
The Ursaring takes advantage of Hals miss and hits him with a side swipe from its paw, not even having to jump thanks to the drop in height.
The Teddiursa sort of stands there, unsure of whether to listen to Dave or keep heading in his direction.
As Jesse watches the bear batter Hal, he grabs a leaf off of a nearby tree and attempts to blow into it, though the one he grabbed had unfortunately torn at some point, leaving him just blowing pointlessly into it.

Dave winces as Hal takes another hit, but feels a glow as a powerful blast finally hits home. Third time's the charm... although, first time being the charm would be better. He notices the small bear still hanging around. A bit more firmly, he says again, "Go. Head back that way. It's probably safer for the both of us."
Dave uses Focused training.
13 Command to get the Teddiursa to go.
Hal crits with Psybeam, for 50 Special Psychic damage, and confusion.

Luke cheers as the larger Lillipup scares off the smaller one, laughing as he catches the pup and it begins licking his face. "Down, boy down! You did great! I told you you could do it." He sets down the Lillipup and kneels down next to him, smiling brightly. "We make a good team, don't we, little one? What do you think, wanna stick with me and Gawain here? Go out on a journey?"Charm: 15

Luke
The Lillipup yips excitedly at the proposition. Gawain takes this time to come over and sniff his new companion, trying to get a feel for him, and the Lillipup does the same, the two circling each other sniffing for a solid ten seconds before both went over to try and get Lukes attention, each of them trying to one up the other.
Dave
The Teddiursa looked hurt, but listened to Dave and began to walk back towards the danger that was the battle between its mother and Hal
The Ursaring reels back from the successful blast, shaking its head before slashing out at Hal once more, its claws raking across his side.
However a moment later, Jesse came around the corner of the trees once again, reeling back and throwing the ball directly at the large Pokemon. After a tense few seconds, the ball stopped shaking and the breeder jumped up in joy "We did it! You did good kid, you did real good!"

Luke laughs aloud at the Pokémon antics. "I guess that's a yes, then?" he says as he takes out a Pokéball an holds it out for the Lillipup to see. "In that case, just press the button and you'll be part of the team."

"Would have gone better, I think, if Hal could have hit something at the beginning," Dave responds, wryly. "Going to need to get better at handling sudden altitude drops." He brings out a bottle of mineral water for Hal, with the Porygon sending a current through it. Something about the minerals helps him recover, apparently... though it does leave the water bland and tasteless. Dave doesn't really care how it works, as long as it does.
"Well, I just hope I never have to do something like that again. You never really realize how dangerous those things are without a Trainer to control them. Anyways, I should probably go. I need to make my way up to, uh," He checks his PokéNav, "Accumula town. Anyways, hopefully this doesn't happen again. I won't exactly be in the neighbourhood, after all." He gives a wry smile to the last part.

"Hey, you look pretty banged up," Jack said, looking at the Pidgey's injuries. "We should probably get you to a Pokemon Center to have that wing looked at. Accumula Town isn't far, and I'd be happy to carry you there," Jack said, reaching out gingerly to grab the Pidgey.

Jack
As soon as the Pidgey made it into Jacks arms, it seemed to lose consciousness. Turns out the Spearow had hurt it a bit more then he had originally thought. Whatever, he could get it to the Center at Accumula Town just fine since he took care of he Spearow.
When Bolt made his way over to Jack, his ears perked up and he looked to the tree tops. Dashing over, he pulled on Jacks sleeve and pointed up "Pika pika!"
Looking up, Jack noticed a large shadow circling them, and countless smaller shadows as well....
Luke
The Lillipup pressed the button without hesitation, quickly being sucked up, the ball chiming a moment later. However Luke and Gawain both heard a pained yelp from the direction the smaller Lillipup had run off in.
Gawain turned his head up at Luke with concern on his face but waited until he was given instruction before doing anything else, just looking between the sound and his trainer.
Dave
Hall swoops and beeps in appreciation as he finishes the water, eventually settling down as he continued to float beside Dave.
Jesse laughed a bit "Oh don't worry, I'll be sure to keep more then just the one Pokemon on me from now on" He nodded to the younger trainer "Good luck getting to Accumula Town"
He begins to walk quickly away before an older man and a girl around Dave's age come upon the scene.
The older man called out after Jesse "Not so fast you thief!" and the Pokemon "Breeders" eyes grew wide
