Tiki nearly skips right into someone who angrily shushes her when she opens her mouth to speak. He seems intent on watching something in the wooded area nearby. Just as Tiki goes to take a look, whatever it is suddenly darts away, causing the guy to grow irate.
"Look what you did you dumb kid! You scared it off! I'm almost certain that was a really rare Pokemon in there and I wanted to try and catch it! Grrr... that's it, battle me!"
Well, that escalated quickly. The weirdo guy that appears to have leaves and tree branches plastered to his outfit (some kind of camouflage, maybe?) puts some distance between the two of you and sends out a Pokemon. It's a really weird, pink thing with a white-tipped tail.
"Slowpoke, use Water Gun!"

Tiki also wanted to see what was so cool, but this guy suddenly flipped out. By his attire she could recognize people like him. Some of the downsides of being a rising star meant that there were people who took their admiration a little too far. So Tiki, had experience in dealing with these people. "I DON'T KNOW YOU!! CREEPO!!!!" Star immediately hops off her shoulder, and rushes the strange creature.

Star's attack definitely connects, but the pink thing either isn't at all harmed by it (unlikely) or doesn't even register the hit yet (crazy, but slightly more likely). Either way, it sprays a jet of water at Star in retaliation.

Star shakes herself as she is dowsed with water, and then starts feeling sleepy as the Slowpoke yawns.

Star NOW starts feeling sleepy, wobbles a bit, but is able to push forward, and tackles the Slowpoke once again.

Star seems to just dash right on by the Slowpoke as it shifts ever so slightly onto its back. It then just seems to glow faintly for a moment.
Slowpoke uses Curse!
+1 Attack/Defense, -1 Speed.

Star wobbles a bit, and doesn't look too good. She is able to side step the water, then tackles the slowpoke again, and is then switched out with Justice.

It's hard to tell how hurt the Slowpoke is based on its vacant expression, but its movements have somehow become even more sluggish (or is that a product of that glowy thing it did earlier?) if that's even possible. The trainer's expression is more easily read, however, and he seems nervous. Guess Slowpoke isn't doing so great.
"Use Curse again, Slowpoke! Beef yourself up!"
It does that glowy thing again.

Yawn cannot miss. Justice falls asleep at the end of its next turn.

Sending wake up thoughts seems to have worked, as Justice shakes itself awake. The Slowpoke finally gets to its feet and rushes at the newly-awoken Justice at its trainer's command.
