"Yeah. Definitely..." Tiki looks back at Zoey. "You seem like your normal self...You aren't sad or somethin'?" While dealing with two completely different scenarios, Tiki noticed that she didn't handle things quite as well as Zoey was dealing with stuff. "I don't what I'd do if I was going through this...Well I've dealt with...stuff, but are doing ok?"

Zoey looks at Tiki incredulously. "Of course I'm sad, you silly! But just because I'm sad doesn't mean I have to mope about how the world isn't fair and it sucks to be me. That doesn't help anything! No, what I do is acknowledge that I'm sad, but then move on! I'm not saying it's an easy thing to do, but it's what I do!"

Tiki goes quiet, and faces forward. "Hm...." It didn't feel good hearing that, so time to abandon that train of thought. Tiki just keeps to herself the rest of the time in the plains. After a bit of searching, Tiki sighs, and finally talks again. "...Still nothin. Wanna just head on back? Anthin ya wanna see out here?"

Zoey, being the endless bundle of energy that she is, has been chattering away at Tiki almost the entire trip. "Aww. Too bad. Maybe we'll find it next time. There doesn't seem to be anything too interesting out here, but seeing the ocean was cool! I'd never seen it before!"

"...Huh? Oh yeah. Seeing so much water is pretty cool. We gotta head up to Cerulean at some point. The beach is super awesome." Tiki pats Chariot's sides to get her to head on back towards Celadon. The trip wasn't so bad. Zoey's energy, and her having a good time made up for not finding certain pokemon...aaaannnd stuff she wished she had never remembered. Tiki at least tries to offer some conversation, so Zoey isn't the only one talking. "Hey, Zoey? What is it that ya wanna do? Ya got dreams, goals, and stuff?"

So her occupation was being a daughter? Tiki shrugged, continued on towards the castle town. Upon reaching the inner gates, Tiki looks back to Zoey again. "Oi. What ya gonna do now? Want me to drop ya off back at the inn, or wanna come hang out with me at the mansion?"

"Yeah yeah yeah!" The pair take off towards the mansion, and after a quick asking of permission to have a friend over, Tiki invites Zoey inside. Tiki makes sure Zoey doesn't just run off in excitement, and guides her to her room. "Here we are! Welcome to my temp home, but it is Casa de Tiki until further notice. Make yourself at home." Tiki lets out her pokemon to relax, and flops onto her bed. "Check out the bed. Guarantee it's unlike anything you've slept on!"

Zoey giggles and flops onto the bed next to Tiki. ZsaZsa quickly materializes in the bedroom as well, occupying the surprisingly comfy floor. Zoey immediately cuddles up to Tiki with a bright smile. She looks at Tiki expectantly, waiting with bated breath for her to begin the storytelling.

Wow. It had been a while since Tiki got a good cuddle in. She throws her arms around Zoey, and smiles back at her. "Okay okay okay....Where to start?....Umm...Oh! I'll start before the guild. Never did anything too exciting, but there was cool stuff too! My family, and lots of other people were part of a traveling, performing troupe. We never stayed in one place for very long. A few nights, and then we would pack up the caravan till we hit another town. Don't remember much though...Traveling so much without much to do on the road was boring. But, getting onto the stage was always the best! Oh! You don't know that I'm a super great singer! Star, my pokemon, and I got to stay here through our performances! Singing, dancing, comedy, tricks, you name it!"

Zoey listens to Tiki's story with rapt attention. She oohs and ahhs as Tiki describes some of her performances, and practically has stars in her eyes the entire time.

"Yup! Star, and I have been doing this for a good while now. My parents went on back to the troupe when I left for the guild. The troupe is always on the move, so I never know where they are. Hopefully they turn up eventually close by." Tiki lets out a sigh as she thinks of her parents for a bit. "Right! So, the guild! I wanted to travel some on my own as a solo act. I felt I need to hone my craft by performing in new places, but this was obviously dangerous for a young, cute maiden roaming about by herself. I then went to Saffron to join up with the guild and it was a special day to join up for a new pokemon! That was Justice!" Tiki points, and waves to the curious Meganium sniffing around Tiki's belongings; head deep in a bag. "I went to where they had tons of pokemon walking around, I sang, and that one there came up to listen!" Justice stumbles around as it cant see with the bag stuck on its head.

Zoey giggles. Both at the story and Justice's antics. ZsaZsa seems to find Justice been stuck in a bag amusing as well, if the light snickering is anything to go by. "Wow, Tiki, you're so amazing!" Zoey exclaims. She seems to genuinely believe it too.

Tiki smiles confidently, and blushes slightly. She wasn't one to deny praise for her talents. "Thankies! I also made friends that day!....Hm...You met Clay, but the others..." Two of Tiki's friends weren't there due to someone's mother, but now wasn't the time..."I joined the normal branch! There were lots of choices, but I don't know what led me to choose it, but it rocks! Miss G, who you saw in the plains, runs the whole guild, and the normal branch. She's mega cool. Also the normal branch wasn't as cool as it is now. It was a place for people who were rejected from other branches, and just lacked identity. But, I came in, and we had a huge party! We even held a big bonding event, and the normal branch was closer than ever. It was a branch to be proud of!... Tiki trails off a bit as that party was the last time she felt....normal...The day after was when....Tiki shakes the frown from her face, and jumps back in time with her story. "One of the first things we did was investigate the Lavender Swamp! It was pretty cool. Got some pokes, solved a mystery, and...." She trails off again. So many "rough" memories...Meeting Holly and Rei, loosing Davini, meeting D'mara. It seems that Tiki's memories were very closely tied to Rei, and trying to maneuver around them is rough. She does try her best to omit talking about her when bringing up going to Cerulean, the Vermilion plains, encounters with porygon, and she just kinda half-heartedly skims over the soul destroying drama followed leaving to come here to Celadon Castle town.

If Zoey notices Tiki dancing around certain subjects or holding back in her stories, she gives no indication of it. Zoey merely continues to gush about how awesome and amazing Tiki is, having pulled the Normal Branch together like she did. Plus, she's done so many cool things!

Tiki is content to have her ego fed as it distracts her from painful memories. "That's pretty much everything...give or take, but yup yup yup. Now we gotta gets to makin lots of memories with ya! Time is to short, and there is lots of cool stuff for ya to see!" Tiki leans up when a knock at the door, and a maid has dropped off a cart of food at Tiki's room. Tiki thanks, and brings the food to the bed. "Woohoo! This place has more than comfy beds! Try some awesome food!" Tiki automatically goes for some sweets, and holds it up for Zoey. "Open up, and say 'Awww'."
