Clay and Baloo finally stop jittering from their respective shocks - Clay wasn't expecting the shock to travel all the way up his staff. If he'd been thinking, he'd have realized that this would happen... but it wasn't like he had a lot of option to avoid it.
Still tingling and numb, Clay takes a deep breath, trying to tap into the energy he'd accessed before. "Hey, Justice, lend Baloo a little of your strength. He can take a hit, but these things need your approach..." The same green light from before starts to shine from Clay's chest... and then from Baloo's, as if to shield the Pancham from the fishes' elemental assault.
Baloo's not much better off than Clay, but he's determined to keep up the assault. He falls back on his tried-and-true method of pummeling the fish, muddy water splashing up around him and matting his fur.

Shinpuru's head strikes true, but the durable mud fish suddenly sends out a retaliatory shockwave, knocking poor Rei off her feet and into the mud.
Stunfisk #2 used Bide! It was super-effective!

The sudden shockwave jolts Clay into action, letting him briefly shake off the pins and needles in his muscles, even if it replaces them with bruises. "Gaah, I hate when they do that!" He whacks the fish with his staff again and uses the leverage to vault backwards - and then he sees that Rei's down. "Rei!" Unfortunately, he's now too far away to do much about it for the moment.
If the Stunfisk is still conscious, Clay snarls in rodent-speak to Shinpuru. "Show it what happens to people who mess with our friends!" Then a quick shift to bearlike growls, "Baloo, hit the dumb thing again! The strike I showed you - go for behind its head!"
On the general assumption that a karate chop at the back of the neck will make most things very unhappy, Baloo takes Clay's advice before retreating back towards his trainer onto solid ground.

Clay growls something very unpleasant as Baloo staggers and falls under the barrage of mud. But given these things' preference for long-distance attacks... he thinks this might finally be something Flower can cope with. She won't like the fishes' attacks much, but she's much less frail towards attacks like that than against being battered physically. And this is her home turf, too.
"Flower! Let's finish these things off!" The Litwick's ghostly flame flickers to life as she floats above the mud, surveying the scene. Threads of green start to join the ghostly blue as Clay directs Justice's defensive strength into Flower, bolstering her elemental defenses. "See that one still in the water? Show it your new trick!"
Flower revolves in the air to face the fish Baloo had been struggling to take down - and suddenly an apparition of a massive Murkrow, all shadows and ghostly flaming eyes, swoops down at the Stunfisk.

Flower's illusion doesn't seem to have much effect on the Stunfisk. Clay finds it shrugging the apparition off to be quite annoying. Zumu and Justice seem to have the other one well in hand, so...
"What, is it too dumb to be scared? Fine then. Light it up!" Flower's flame streams out in a wind that doesn't rustle the trees at all, curling into a fiery whirlwind that homes in on the fish... only to dissipate in the water around it. Clay makes a frustrated noise.

"Oh no you don't!" As Flower shies away from the spray of mud that threatens to smother her flame, Clay growls and charges in. If the fish won't succumb to Flower's attacks, he'll take care of it himself... never mind that Flower can stand another attack like that and he probably wouldn't do so well. The water splashes up around him as he lashes out at the fish with his staff.

"I swear this swamp's out to get us." Clay shakes his head as he tosses a ball in his hand. At least he knows how to deal with bugs. He tosses a ball from one hand to the other, then releases a Growlithe who's surely ready to get his own back. "Red Child! Let's shoot these bugs down!"

The bug somehow knows exactly where the fire will strike and is well out of the way when the embers pass through.
