The girl has some of her energy sapped, but remains in the fight. Meanwhile, the sword manages to wake up.

Clay holds his breath when the girl swings at Fan, but the Chimchar dodges the blow nimbly, pulling a face at the girl. Fan's strike going through the sword obviously frustrates him; he's almost hopping up and down, and while he hasn't dropped back into screeching his voice is shrill. "Why can't we hit anything in this stupid swamp? Burn it!"Fan is only too happy to oblige, spitting more embers at the sword. She's not any more pleased about it deflecting her attack than Clay is, after all. Clay uses Agility Training! (For all the good it does.) Fan uses Ember on the Honedge! AC 2 vs epFSmAnB1d20; 2d6+24 Special Fire damage; Burn on 18+ It's a shame the sword managed to wake up despite Tiki's best efforts, but there's not much to be done about that. The unknown spiky Pokémon worries Clay, especially since he and Sano are both in such bad shape, but he figures it's better to keep Fan's focus on the sword, especially since Star was just working to get its guard down. "Fan can handle the sword, you guys watch that other one!"

Tiki yelps as needles lodge into her arm, and sprouts into vines as they wrap around it. "Augh!! U-Uh-oh...." She nods at Clay's idea, through the pain. She lets out another shriek to confuse the spiky pokemon.

Sano reaches in his bag and grabs the Grimer's ball, hurling it near the sword. Mitis historically struggles with Steel Types, so she'd be no use. "Grimer! Use... Something!" The Grimer pops out and shoots a glob of mud at the sword while Aloe continues to drain health from the girl.

The strange girl (Or... second strange girl, but who's counting) manages to make her way inside the cave. Looking inside she finds a dire scene. Three young adventurers like herself seem to be struggling against a girl with blood red eyes that match her blade, which seems to be a pokemon itself. And... no. It can't be. She can't have found a spirit on her own almost immediately. Could she have?
Before she has a real chance to see, a draining attack is launched toward the girl wearing the pink scarf. She seems to be the healthiest, but an attack like that would only lead to strengthening the girl with the sword, and would quickly down the younger woman. She knows she must act fast, and quickly darts into the room, really hoping this group she's siding with aren't bandits or the like.
Tiki will find herself whirling around, almost as if she found a dance partner. The newcomer had bolted in behind her, and with great grace and agility, swapped places with her! The girl gives a final whirl as the attack lands on her instead, almost like a flourish. The seeds seem to have taken hold in her arm, but the girl smiles despite the pain. As she finally comes to a halt from the spin, and the group has a chance to get a good look at the person interrupting (or perhaps saving them?) the battle. Standing in a traditional white kimono with striking white hair to match, this girl seems to radiate warmth despite the dire situation. She spins her umbrella and rests it on her shoulder. Behind the group, a Bidoof seems to be making it's way in to assist it's apparent master. She looks toward the sword woman, and speaks, without any hint of malice or anger in her voice.
"There will be no more of that as long as I stand, Miss. These three adventures you may consider under my protection now. And if that blade is indeed the spirit I think it is, you'll find a great enemy in me. I would suggest standing down or retreating. No more fighting has to be done today."

The girl seems to stagger as the living sword is KO'd. It's almost as if severing the connection they had is painful to her. Despite this development, (or perhaps because of it) she attacks with renewed vigor, throwing a second Poke Ball out that seems to have held a floating stump with an obviously spectral body.

The girl turns to (apparently) her pokemon skipping up from behind. "Shinpuru, ready yourself for combat. Let's show her why she should stop this battle now."The Bidoof begins a little dance of it's own, and at the end looks a lot more dangerous. Bidoof uses Dance of Blades! (+2 stages to attack)
Bidoof's simple doubles the gained stages!

Tiki braces herself for more pain, but it never comes. Instead, she is suddenly caught up in a whirlwind of white, and as she stops spinning, she looks up at the tall woman in white. "Huh!?...Bwuah?...Whoa..." Star is also surprised, but remembers the threat at hand, and moves in to tackle the spiky one.

Clay looks back at the new girl warily, but heck, they need all the help they can get. "Doesn't look like she's gonna listen. Tried talking to her already anyway... well. I was talking to the sword 'cause I didn't see her. Whatever."
Speaking of the sword, it looks like it's finally down. As far as you can tell with a sword, anyway. And it looks like the girl is starting to feel it, too. Clay grins fiercely. "All right! Fan, see if you can get the new thing's attention!"
Fan is all too happy to oblige. She does a carefree handstand, sticking out her tongue at the floating stump and wiggling her ears to demonstrate just how little she thinks of its silly wooden face. Then she hops backward, trying to lure it farther away from the girl without exposing herself to a strike.
Clay uses Agility Training! Fan uses Taunt on the stump! AC 3 vs 5wP4MHtZ1d20; on hit, target is Enraged. Fan Disengages.1d20

She looks back to the scruffy boy, but does not drop her expression at the news. "Oh. Well that's unfortunate! Now we must be victorious. Shinpuru. The new spirit, if you would."The Bidoof looks to her trainer confusedly. With a 'Um you sure boss?' sort of expression. "That seal I gave you. That should help."Shinpuru shrugs and charges the new ghost! The attack smacks into the barren tree pokemon. HARD. As Shinpuru lands back, a small piece of paper bursts into a ghostly flame. The Bidoof is a bit frightened but sees that it didn't hurt. His owner gives him a knowing nod when he looks back. Shinpuru uses Tackle vs Phantump! Ac 2 Normal Physical vHSGYDOp1d20 2d6+46

The first attack is weathered, although a considerable bit of her liveliness can no longer be seen. However, she feels the second attack being resisted... and witnesses her necklace glowing. Father, Grandfather, despite never finding anything before this moment, your collective research was right. Unfortunate that sorrow and madness took you both before you could see this day.The ghostly attack is nearly absorbed into the necklace. The girl, despite having a clear shot at any of the pokemon, instead begins to step back and forth in some sort of dance. It's a strange one, but as it happens she seems harder to take down. Lime she got tougher somehow. Rei uses Yoroi Step (+1 stage to both def and sp def)

Tiki takes a moment to watch the new person fight, and it is quite awesome. She admires the performance almost like her singing, but she soon remembers she should focus on more important matters like knocking out bad guys. Armed with her knife, she moves, and takes a swipe at the girl.
