A jet of water arcs through the trees abruptly. Clay is standing to one side with his arms crossed and Sandy's relatively bulky form beside him. Sadly most of his Pokémon just aren't as good for the intimidation factor as everybody else's, unless he wants to set fire to something and he doesn't think the trapper lady would appreciate that. "Does someone wanna tell me what's going on here? Or are you expecting me to just stand here while my friends beat each other up?"

Holly Disenages and slashes with Honedge, then sweeps Rei's legs from under her sending her tumbling to the ground.

Clay bares his teeth for a moment, then bites back his anger. He points at Holly, who he knows he's not going to be able to touch - Honedge would get in the way and not feel a thing. "Sandy? Cool her off. Gently." Sandy lopes over to Holly and... sprays water right in her face.
Meanwhile he stalks over to Rei and finally hauls off and slaps her. "Get a grip, Rei! I am not gonna let you self-destruct again!"
Clay uses Struggle+!

Honedge blocks the attack. It hurts, but the sword is much more resilient than Holly. The sword bashes Gryz with the flat of its blade.

Holly slashes Gryz with ghostly claws, then flourishes to keep up the distractions for attackers. (Flutter for +3 Evasion)

Free Action: Haunted Wounds. After one full round, Holly will repeat Shadow Claw against one target as a Free Action, regardless of Range. If this attack hits, it deals damage as if it were Resisted one step further. Haunted Wounds can only affect a target once per Scene.

"I'm not self-destructing! I'm trying to stop Holly from doing something suicidal! She's headed somewhere to try and strike a deal with something powerful, or try to kill it and become a Usurper herself! I'm trying to beat her to stop her, because if she runs I won't ever see her again! GO AWAY!"
She turns to Holly again.
"Listen to your own words from two nights ago! You told me together we couldn't, and you told me not to trust Giratina, WHAT MAKES THIS ANY DIFFERENT!?"
She just glares at Tiki over her shoulder.
"Go do what you want AWAY FROM US. BOTH OF YOU LEAVE."

"Everybody, sit down and shut up already!" Clay steps around behind Rei - then, moving blindingly fast, basically vaults off the top of Rei's head to pretty much bounce off of Holly and onto the ground behind her.
"Nobody is going anywhere! And Tiki? Stop helping."
Sandy takes the opportunity of Clay's attack to hit Holly low, wrapping his long arms around her legs to hold her in place.
Clay uses Aerial Ace!
Aerial Ace cannot miss. Flip Out: If Clay chooses not to test for a critical hit, Aerial Ace gains the Pass keyword.

Holly leaps up and jumps off of Sandy's head when the Swampert tries to grab her. Unfortunately, this puts her right in the path of Clay's own attack. She shoots a glare at Clay as he passes by and smacks her with his staff.

Clay growls in frustration. "Okay, new plan. Rei, tag. Now." It's occurred to him that there's not much point in trying to hold Holly down when she can walk through them. He's at least gathered enough to know that something is wrong in Holly's head and it needs to be fixed.
Clay has pretty much never succeeded in channeling Honedge, but he's going to give it another try in hopes that it will talk some sense into Holly. He reaches out, pleading to the swordlike spirit as he bounds after her. "What she's trying to do isn't going to help anything. Something's in her head controlling her. Please help us stop this before she does something that can't be fixed."
Sandy has a surprising turn of speed even on land now - he races ahead to try and intercept Holly from the other side, swinging around wide to try and avoid Honedge's reach in case Clay's entreaty doesn't work. And bracing himself to retaliate if Holly strikes out at him.
