Tiki waves around a newly occupied apricorn ball. "I caught a new pokemon. It's blue, and has big, powerful jaws like this...!" She pantomimes taking big bites with a big mouth. "I think some training could be done with other people. So one new pokemon is fine." Tiki holds onto Rei's arm, and cuddles.

"I just expected you to be gone for more than five minutes. But hey look at you. Not an hour ago we were having trouble getting your Ponyta, and then with ease catch something large and powerful."
Rei smiles and laughs as Tiki tries to hug her arm. She pushes Tiki away for a moment.
"Tiki... we can do better than you just hugging my arm."
She opens her arm out to invite Tiki to cuddle up close to her.

Tiki blinks as Rei moves away, and then smiles big as something better is offered. She giggles, and goes in for big hug. She then cuddles nice, and close on Rei's lap. "Hehehe. Much better!"

Rei giggles, and when Tiki lays her head down, Rei starto playing with her hair again.
"You have such pretty hair Tiki, you should be proud of it."
Rei does this for a minute before stopping, and making a face.
"Hey Tiki? Can I ask you a question, even if it might ruin the moment?"

"Hehehe! Thanks! I always take care of my hair! It may seem messy at times, but its volume really shines on stage." She smiles as fingers running through her hair feel really nice. She then blinks, and looks at Rei. "Yeah! Sure! What's up?"

"It's mostly messy when you wake up, I think..."
Rei fidgets a bit, not sure whether to bring it up or not.
"Tiki... is this strange? Us, I mean. What we do. I don't see other friends do stuff like we do, but I've never had friends until I came out here to join the guild. So I don't know..."

Tiki blinks again, and stares at Rei. She then tilts her head. "Strange? Ummm...I dunno...I like being around you, and hanging out with you. I have fun when you're around. Hmmm...Oh. I actually don't that many friends either. We would always travel around a lot. We would perform, and then leave for the next city. I never really stayed in one place, and got to know people. But, since joining the guild, I have way more than ever! And, you're my bestest friend!" Tiki then scratches her head. "I don't know why that would be strange though..."

Rei shakes her head. And seems to be a little flush in the cheeks.
"Umm, that's not what I meant. I meant all the physical contact we do. Like this right here. I mean, I really like it, and you cuddling with me after I was attacked helped considerably. But I don't see others doing that, and not even my mother or sisters did that. So it feels... I'm not sure. It feels like it's more important than just friendship? But I don't want to stop?"
Rei sighs.
"I'm sorry, I'm just confused about how I feel. I've lived a sheltered life and you seem great at making friends so I thought you might be more knowledgeable... "

Tiki's head tilts from side to side, like a confused puppy, as she tries to process everything. She then smiles, and gives Rei a nice, warm hug. "Hehe. I get confused a lot too. When there is something I dont understand, I just think 'Someone else might know, and that is fine.' Then, I can just keep on being happy! I also don't see why contact would be strange though. I like being like this, and I don't want it to stop either." She smiles brightly, and nuzzles the crook of Rei's neck.

It seems Rei's worries aren't 'quite' sated, but who can really deny Tiki's upbeatness? Not Rei, that's for sure. She just lets Tiki nuzzle close.

"No problem." Tiki relaxes in comfort. Some scratching at her leg has look down at Sookie, who is pawing at her to get attention. Tiki pats her lap, and the Lillipup hops onto it. Then, one of her balls pops open, and Tiki's trusty Bayleef appears. It comes up to Tiki, and starts motioning to be with Tiki. "Hold on, Justice I'll get to yo- Whoa!" Justice cries out happily, and bowls over Tiki, and lays on top of her. Sookie avoids getting squished, and licks Tiki's face.

Justice licks Tiki's face. "Blehblahplfft!! I know Justice. I love you too. Hop off please." Justice enjoys the affection, and once distracted by other pokes, she runs off to play. Tiki wipes her face, and sighs. She then looks to Rei, and smiles. "Hehe."

Rei then looks to Tiki and pats her lap like Tiki did herself to her guard dog just a second ago.

Clay finally roams back up the beach, shaking head. "Hey, got a riddle for you guys. What's blue, hangs out on the beach, and talks funny?" He tosses a Pokéball up and down in his hand. "And is stubborn as all get out. I tried to talk him into surrendering but he wasn't having any of it."
He stops short. "Am I, uh, interrupting something?" Master Nob managed to impress on him that grooming each other wasn't quite the same for humans as for Infernape and that's the only thing he can figure they're doing.

At the point Clay shows up, Rei has started to make a single braid in Tiki's hair. She looks up with a smile.
"Well it must have not have given you enough trouble if you caught it. And no, Tiki and I were just keeping each other company."
Rei drops the braid but doesn't move Tiki's head, letting her stay there for the moment.
"Are we ready to make the trip back now?"
