"... All except the exploded pillow, yeah." Clay answered for the others slowly - not that he knew for sure that they had, but when he and Divini had the exact same dream, he had a hunch that something was up. He shivers a little as he recalls something. "Did you get that one guy with the black eyes? Like there was something missing behind them?"

Tiki nods hesitantly. She keeps her voice down, "A-And...The queen was there too....You all saying we had the exact same dream? What does that mean? What do we do?" She holds onto Divini's arm, and tugs at her sleeves.

Sano ruminates for a moment, looking around at the rest of the dining hall. "As far as I know, I was the only one in my Guild that had the dream, and no one around us looks like they just woke up from a graphic ordeal of a nightmare." He glances around at the ragtag group. Great Stag, we have almost nothing in common with one another, he muses, fiddling with his Antidote. Does this mean anything? Is this just a coincidence? Why the four of them? What is linking them? The only thing that they share is an apparent love of baked goods. "Divini, I was planning on asking your expertise on the subject, but you seem just as stupefied as us. Do you know if there are any dream-interpreters in your Guild we could talk to?"

Divini ponders it for a moment. "There's probably someone in the psychic branch that's into dream work. It's a popular subject in clairvoyance." She leans forward, laying her face in her arms. "Argh... we just got here... what a pain..."

Clay pushes back the lingering unease that recalling the nightmare brings. "Well, if it means something, we can work on finding out together! But first I gotta get some breakfast, I'm starving! Oh, and I need to go catch a Fire Pokémon today apparently. Fire Lady's orders and all. I got a tip-off on some Ponyta down south of here, but I might look around to see what else is there 'cause I know at least one other guy's going for those and it'd look dumb if the whole Fire Branch came back with a herd of Ponyta." He's back to his mile-a-minute chattering now. This is how he deals with his to-do list, apparently.

Tiki is quickly eager to move away from the nightmare topic, and turns towards Clay. "You're going to catch Ponyta!? Those are sooo cool! I wanna come! Oh...you were told to go catch some pokemon? Hmm..I wonder if I have something I need to do. I better go ask Miss Genevieve!" Tiki hops up, and heads towards her branch hall. "I'll meet back up with you guys in a bit! Don't go on an adventure without me!" Tiki takes off running to find Genevieve.

Sano glances over the paper that Tiki returns with, and realizes that there may be Guild-specific missions he was supposed to attend to. He quickly pardons himself from the party and returns to his guild, hoping that the more intriguing ones haven't been filled up.

There really is only one generic mission from the Poison Branch. All it says is "Find new Poison Types. Record data. Capture if possible." Seems to be just a general goal for the Branch. Makes sense, given Nalkeya's 'free spirit/do whatever you want' attitude. However, there is also a notice in big, bold letters that says "Bring any bugs in here, and I will murder you. No joke." The handwriting is very jagged, like the person was very angry when the notice was written.

Clay, at least, can occupy himself with wolfing down breakfast while the others check up on whether they have any quests from their respective branches. He was honestly not expecting how much the various branches operated separately.
After a while, though, he starts getting obviously antsy. Not that he expects to need all day just to find a Fire-type Pokémon; he's just bad at waiting. "So do we all know where we're going now?"

Tiki makes sure she has her essentials in her bag, and her tome tied to her belt. "Nope!" She giggles, and studies her crudely written note. "I wanna go wherever you guys wanna go! Hmmm...Finding a new pokemon friend seems super fun! How about you guys?"

Sano returns in time to hear the discussion, and chimes in with his own plan. "My Guild appears to want Poison Types, so I'm planning on seeking some of those out. I'm down for going far away. I think I'm done with the city for a good while." He looks uncomfortable. Their first night here wasn't exactly the best.

"Well unless Divini's got somewhere to go, south might work. Like I said, I got a hot tip." Clay pauses and snaps his fingers. "Right, tip! That's what that word was! Couldn't remember it earlier. Anyway, I'm up for anywhere, honestly, I just gotta find a Fire type."
He doesn't know what's going to happen if he doesn't. He's not sure if Lady Ashara is still in "weed out the ranks" mode or what - though he's pretty sure failing to carry out a special mission would result in more than a dirty look.

With everyone checking out their branch missions, Divini decides to see if her own branch has anything of note. There's the normal "submit research papers" expected for such a knowledge based branch, but essays are dreadfully dull. Near the bottom of the message board there's a note about a checking out a disturbance in the Lavender Swamp. A mission just to look at something? Good enough for Divini. She makes note of the mission and returns to the group, whom seem to be comparing missions. "What say we complete all this junk in one swoop," she says and she throws the mission note she jotted down onto the table. "I say we head for the swamps. I poke around for a bit, you guys find the pokemon your after and," she turns to Clay, "there's always been stories about 'ghost lights' in that area. If we're lucky, maybe they're just stray fire types?" That last reason she knew was a bit of a stretch, but Monkey boy seemed to have a way with the wild, so tracking a disturbance through wetlands would likely be easier if he came along. Her eyes lingered on him for a moment, hoping his curiosity would over take the more reliable knowledge he was already given.

Tiki crosses her arms, closes her eyes, and goes into deep thought. "Hmmmm...Uhhhh....mmmmmm....Hmph! It's decided! We go to the swamps! Sano needs poison types, Divini needs to search the swamp, there might be a fire type lurking around for Clay, and I just need to find a special friend! Also if we don't find anything we can always go look somewhere nearby for fire types and such." Tiki slaps her cheeks, and jumps up and down. "I'm sooo excited! Our first adventure together! Let's go!" Tiki turns around, and valiantly marches out of the guild hall.

Having decided upon a destination, the group begins to make their way out of the city, collecting any supplies they think they will need along the way. About 20 minutes later, they are on Route 3, east of Saffron, heading towards Lavender Swamp.
(If you want to find Wild Pokemon or random items before entering the swamp, now is your chance to do so. It will take approximately 3 hours to reach the swamp if you don't stop. It is currently 10 AM.)

Clay has... basically no idea what 'ghost lights' actually are, but he's got a pretty good idea that nobody else is going to be looking for Fire-types in a swamp, which solves the 'everybody going after the Ponyta herd' problem he was halfway worrying about. So he has no problem at all with agreeing to the swamp plan. He can always make a flying run south after the herd if he absolutely needs to... maybe. Besides, he's never been to a swamp, and he's curious now about these lights.
He's humming tunelessly as they set out, occasionally darting off to one side or up ahead to investigate something interesting-looking, but he's not making an effort to look for anything specific just yet.

Tiki keeps up her march towards the swamp not really deviating from the path. She has Star and Justice walking at her sides as she non-stop talks about the fundamentals of her routines and performances. Star half listens, and takes in the surroundings as she knows all of this. Justice stares up at Tiki with a big goofy smile, she is listening intently, she trips rock, face plants, and hops back up still listening with a big smile. Tiki breaks from her constant chatter to talk back to her friends who are about 10ft behind her. "Oi! Hurry up Slopokes and Slowbros! We''re almost there, so lets pick it up!" She grins, and goes back to talking to her pokemon.

Sano trudges along, content to be back in nature. The city was decidedly not for him. Mitis sits on his shoulder, perfectly content to avoid the physical exertion of walking. Bumbling behind the group is Aloe, who has to be pacified every so often after he picks a fight with a particularly mouthy blade of grass. Sano is delighted by the relative peace and quiet, happy to avoid any unnecessary conflict before the swamp itself to assure maximum preparedness.

Divini floats along, lazily reclined as she spins her halberd which too is levitated by her power. She keeps an eye out for any "disturbances" as they travel, and trying to get an idea of the basic types of pokemon in the area.
