Tiki smiles, and waves. "Ok then. And, I'll try not too..." Her voice trails off as she walks back to her branch. "...Tower does live under the bed though...and pinches you if ya get too close..." She finds her bed, avoids the pinching crayfish under the bed, and snuggles up with her densely packed pokes.

Clay wanders back into the guild, tossing the apricorn ball containing his potential new Pokémon from hand to hand. "Well, that was an... experience."
He looks up when he crosses Rei's path and waves at her. "Hey, Rei! Tiki not back yet? Or did she go to bed already?"

"I'm fine. Got a new Pokémon... sorta. Basically he's gonna hang around for a week and see how he likes it before he decides whether to sign on for good." He rubs the back of his neck. "It's a little weird, but I guess it's a thing that's happening. Snivy's pretty smart for a Pokémon, but kind of the quiet type."
He tilts his head curiously as Rei describes Tiki's sighting. "Really? Huh. Don't think I've run into anything like that. How about you, how're you doing?"

"It's been an odd day, I think. I ended up with a job helping find stuff that's strange for this doctor in town, and then I ran into a woman who said she had fought with you? She had a 'Golett' which it seems you correctly named as a spirit! I'm actually very proud of you for recognizing it. A lot of what I know has been going on deaf ears for centuries, so it's nice that yours weren't."
Rei smiles warmly.

"Oh, right, Kali! Yeah, she wanted to test the Gol-thingy out. That's how we figured out it was a spirit, Fan went right through it. And I knew you'd studied those so I think I mentioned you to her. Apparently she found it in Celadon?" He glances down modestly when Rei says she's proud of him. It's kinda nice to get a self-esteem boost sometimes.
Then he pulls a face as he remembers something. "The mean lady who had the thing with the teeth was from Celadon, too. The Mayor's friend." Even though the Mayor may have mentioned the name of the lady in question, Clay actively did not try to remember it. He's not real happy about her attitude. "I think the thing with the teeth was a spirit, too. Maybe we should check out this place Kali was looking at sometime, if all these spirits come out of it."

"Oh she did now? Interesting how these people had pokemon of the dead and don't realize it. The ignorance of some people."
Rei thinks for a moment and makes a face at Clay's suggestion.
"I am very curious about what could be there as well, but I believe the Castle would be well protected and I'd doubt they would let us in."
Rei sighs and turns to look around.
"Oh here we were chatting and it got late! I will see you in the morning Clay! Goodnight!"
Unless he has more to say, Rei goes back to her dorm room to retire for the night.

It occurs to him that he'd meant to ask her more about patrolling the road in case the poachers turn up... but he'd rather have as many of them together as they can get, and with Tiki already in bed it didn't seem likely to help even if Rei agreed to it.
"Wish I got more done today," he mutters to himself. Somehow the time just flew by. He guesses he'll have to start seeing what Snivy can do tomorrow. For now, he'll head to bed again and curl up with Fan.

In the morning, Tiki is up and about, and is super excited to go out looking for that big dog/kitty she saw. She shoves food into her mouth, heads out to quickly warm up with her pokes, and axiously waits for her friends to get ready. Star sits on the shaking Tiki's shoulder, and paws at her head. "I know, Star, but I'm soooo excited! The others will be here any minute!"
At some point, Tiki's Lillipup comes strolling in with another stone in its mouth. Tiki picks em up, and hugs her. "Aww! Thanks for bringing me gifts every morning!" Tiki admires her shiney new rock, and pockets it in her bag.

As Rei gets ready, something hits her about what Clay had said, and a piece of information the Mayor had said finally drops. Realization hits her and she begins feeling sick to her stomach.
While my family was ruined by my Father and Grandfather, hers became wealthy- NO! No, no no. Don't think about it, Rei. Stop. It's fine. You are fine. Just think about Tik- I mean think about helping Tiki tomorr- Ugh nevermind.
Rei just sighs, sort of upset now, and goes to bed.
-Morning-
Zumu brings another item to Rei, thankfully an item conceivable 'losable' so she doesn't feel like her normal type is just stealing. She makes a couple more tags, and gathers a pack to go exploring with Tiki, who's probably waiting for her already. She heads to the breakfast hall, and sure enough...
"Hello Tiki. Are you ready?"

Tiki happily waves to Rei. "Mornin', Rei~!!" Tiki muches on more food to keep her energy up, and looks back at Rei. "We're going out today right right!?" She smiles brightly.

Tiki nods. "Mhm! I know you ride on top of Raido all the time, and I want one too! Also, riding Raido back from Cerulean was fun too. Unless we find that giant dog/kitty, then I want it as a mount!"

Tiki blinks, and scratches her head. She looks a bit shaken. "Ughugh....I didn't think about it being mean...It could've eaten me, huh?" Tiki thinks for a bit, and looks at Rei. "...Ehh...I'm sure it'll be fine! We'll head out to the watering hole I saw it at. Oh! Maybe the ponyta will be there too! Stinks I couldn't find them, but I did find those white and black horsies...OH! And then, I need to see if I can see Porygon again! Dumb college people! I wanna play with Porygon! ARGH! I got soo much to do!!" Tiki flops onto the table, while Star hops onto it, and paws at Tiki's head.

Rei sits next to where Tiki flopped, and scoots closer, patting Tiki on the head.
"Relax, Tiki. You aren't on a deadline. I doubt we'll find anything besides maybe a small clue for your powerful creature, and then maybe we'll find your Ponyta while out there! That'll be two things! As for Porygon... if the college has them, I doubt you can really get them to let you in. So I'm not sure you'll be able to meet that creature again."
Rei looks down and sympathetic to her friend.
"I'm sorry Tiki."
