Rei thinks for a moment. She knew that Zoey wanted to go back down and explore with them but it seems it'll be a bit and Zoey just 'hanging out' with them as Rei tries to ask Sorra for help would probably bore the poor girl. Seeing the world with Tiki and Clay seems like a better use of time. She'd say the same boredom issue for Holly but Rei knows that she'd get glared down by her love the second she would bring it up.
"I was actually going to suggest that Zoey stay and hang out with you all for a while. I need to see Lady Sorra about something, and that will probably be the rest of my day. Holly and I were given full entrance passes to the castle basement but not more than that for a few days so all three of us can't go back in yet. So I've really got nothing to entertain with for at least today."
Rei shrugs.
"But if you two take her with you she'll keep you company and she could see more of the world out with you both."

Zoey excitedly begins to babble about 'going on an adventure' with Team Cliki (yes, she does use this term). She seems on board with Rei's plan. Hopefully her enthusiasm will rub off on Tiki while they're at it.

Tiki nods. "Yeah. That's pretty much what I had in mind for today. Wanna go see if that legendary is still there. It's also a cool place to see. Two of us can ride on Chariot over there. When she gets back out to those plains, she takes off like a rocket. When do ya'll wanna go?"

"I'm pretty much ready to go whenever you are." Clay shrugs. "Though Red Child's resting up today, so I don't think we're gonna be racing. I can still hike pretty well, though."
For Zoey's benefit, he adds, "Red Child's an Arcanine. He's pretty much my only teammate big enough to ride, even for me." "Team Cliki" is a little weird, but since he's the one who talks to Pokémon, he's not really in a position to judge.

Zoey is more than ready to head out on an adventure whenever. She also happily explains where "Team Cliki" came from. Obviously it's a combination of Clay and Tiki! Duh!

Before anyone really has a chance to stop them, Rei and Holly head back into the city, hoping to track down Sorra. After seeing Tiki face's upon seeing herself, it's probably best for a quick exit.

"Cool. Then let's get going!" Tiki preps Chariot, and Toppo for the trip. Tiki, and Zoey hop onto Chariot. Clay is allowed to take Toppo. "Alright! On towards the Vermilion Plains!" Despite the enthusiasm, Tiki's pokes start off at a pleasant pace. No need to spend all their energy on the trip over there.

Clay clambers on top of Toppo to follow along. "Let me know if I'm holding on wrong, okay?" This is addressed to Toppo himself; he doesn't want to make a Pokémon giving him a lift uncomfortable, especially not when they have a quick temper and very sharp horns.

Toppo snorts and just tells Clay to 'hang on'. No sooner has the group left the main road on the way to the plains when Toppo surges ahead, determined to prove it can be faster than the pesky fire horse. Clay is left doing exactly as the Tauros suggested: hanging on for dear life.

"Oi! Toppo!" That bull was cheeky alright. Tiki looked behind her to Zoey. "Hold onto me tight, or things could be bad!" Tiki holds onto Chariot's reigns tightly, clicks her tongue, and taps the horse with her feet. Chariot rears up, whinnies, and takes off at full speed towards Toppo and Clay.

Zoey squeals and giggles in Tiki's ear as she clings to her. Despite the head start, Chariot quickly overtakes the cheeky bull Pokemon, though not for long. Toppo snorts, lowers its head and charges forward again. The two somehow remain nearly neck and neck for the first half of the journey. Then Toppo finally starts to wear out and is forced to slow down.

Clay... really can't do much but hang on. Clay's knowledge of physics is mostly instinctual, but he knows that jumping off of Toppo running at full tilt would be much more dangerous than holding on at this point.
He curls his hands in Toppo's shaggy mane. He can't really hide the fact that he's grinning, though, at least not once Tiki catches up. Toppo is as fast as Red Child, and Clay's always found riding a running Pokémon exhilarating.
He makes a slightly disappointed noise when Toppo starts to tire out, but as much as he wants to, he doesn't urge him to speed up again. No good encouraging him to run himself to exhaustion.

When the pokemon come to a stop, and everybody is let off, Tiki hops onto Toppo's back. She grabs him by the horns, and she holds on as he bucks and thrashes around. "You think you can run off like that, mister!? Think head starts are fair do ya!?" After a few hops, snorts, and cries, Toppo is tired out again. It snorts, and just stands about. Tiki pats his sides. "There ya go, buddy. Maybe next time." Tiki does a flip off the Tauros's back, and looks to the others. "Ya'll have fun?"

Zoey's eyes and grin have practically consumed her face. "That. Was. AWESOME!" She exclaims. Mysteriously, her hair seems to not have been blown back and out of place by the sudden race. Then again, with her tricky illusion stuff, that could just be a false image.

"That was really cool," Clay agrees, working the kinks from holding on to Toppo so tightly out of his fingers. "We should see how Red Child stacks up against Chariot sometime. Probably with a little more warning though."
He shoots Toppo a meaningful look at that.

"Absolutely!" After marveling at her pokemon's awesome speeds, Tiki pulls out her book of the legendaries, and jumps to the page of the Entei. She tuns, and shows off the book pages. "Alrighty then. This is what we are looking for. It''s called an....En..tei...Yup! It's pretty big, lots of brown fur, and it seems super fast. We could start by heading towards that watering hole we were at once. Remember, Clay?"

Zoey peers over Tiki's shoulder at the picture of Entei in the book, then steps back with a grin on her face. Before anyone can question what she's up to, suddenly it looks like Entei is standing next to them!

"Ya ever see anything like this Zo- EeeYYY!!" As Tiki turns towards Zoey is shrieks, and tumbles backwards. She stares up at the big pokemon, with mouth agape. "W-w-w-wow! Zoey! You did that thing again!" She looks over the large pokemon from the ground. "Wow...So cool...."

"Yeah, watering hole's probably the - whoa!" Someday soon he's going to hopefully stop being startled by Zoey's illusions. Today is not that day. It doesn't help that this is his first time actually seeing the Entei. If he remembers right, Tiki spotted it while he was busy being chased around by Raticate.
At least there were no tails behind him to trip over, this time. He's still wound up falling flat on his butt again, which just makes the Entei illusion look bigger. "Warn a guy when you do that!"

The fake Entei disappears and Zoey is rolling on the ground laughing once again. She seems to take extra pleasure in watching Clay fall on his butt. When she is finally able to breathe again, she proclaims that it's no fun if you know it's coming.
