The information Rei finds doesn't really 'help' other than distract her. The bit on the 'glitch' is indeed strange, and for some reason Rei finds herself taking the hand-written bits. She tells herself it's so nobody else gets misled but...
Anyway! Lady Sorra has called her and she arrives before the castle district as she sees the other two. She waves, but can't seem to find any words to either of them. She feels like anything she could say to Tiki would just make things worse. And Clay... Well with her plans and what she wants to get accomplish, she's pretty sure Clay wouldn't approve of the way she wants to do this. She knows Xerneas very much won't, so it's safe to assume Clay would be more on a helpful legendary's side. Lukily Sorra arrives quickly to whisk them away. As they sit down, Rei just rattles off what she knows...
"We've found and visited Xerneas. We spoke and she seemed unlike other legendaries and agreed to directly help us by being there for the final battle. Yveltal has an aura of death that will drain everything of life unless any of us are nearby to Xerneas. So there's that."
Rei says that matter of factly and thinks for a moment of mentioning the bunker but until it's supplied and ready to go it's the base for Holly's Heroes. Once supplied and close to the main battle, if things go wrong it'll be a safe house for as many people as she can save.

Clay nods, backing up Rei's report. "Well, I dunno if it's different from the other gods? Darkrai, the one that's been sending us dreams, is... it can only do it that way. Its messenger was a jerk, but it's at least trying to help. Xerneas doesn't seem to have that problem."
He kicks his feet against the bench. He's not really thrilled about his record in training and is uncomfortably aware that he hasn't accomplished much else apart from the visit to Xerneas. "There's a tribe of Blaziken up on Mt. Moon who promised to help - at least, the human who lives with 'em said yes when Rei asked her. I don't think my troop is up for it, though. I can go back and ask again, I guess, but the elders' job is to make sure the troop's safe. They've been warned that there might be danger, anyway."
He glances over at Rei curiously. "You find any help researching? You know you can ask me if you need anything, right?"

Rei winces and looks away.
"I know I could have. But I haven't really found much that we don't know already."
With only a 'slight' hint at something that can make portals and no new information on Xerneas or Yveltal, Rei really feels like she's wasted the whole last week.

Tiki simply shrugs. She is also a member of wasting the entire week club. The only thing she can add is that she did close to nothing, and read an old dusty book about some legendaries. "Is it possible there are other legends that could help us? Could we go out, and recruit them?"

Sorra considers this as the waiter arrives with food and drink for everyone. "It's possible, I suppose, but I wouldn't know where to find any of them. All I could think to suggest is attempting to contact the Legendaries that you've already spoken with before to inquire as to further aid. I've done about all I can on my end, attempting to convince the Queen and her Court of the threat posed to us." She sighs. "The Queen seems to believe me to some extent, allowing me to commandeer many of my fellow Knights, but the Court, as you might expect, seeks to brush me off with nothing more than this. If only we had more tangible proof than prophetic dreams and mysterious 'messengers' sent by mythical Pokemon that most don't believe truly exist."

Clay huffs quietly. "Not unless we can talk Xerneas into showing up in person. All the others we've met either can't show up, or only do it when they want to, I think." He takes a big bite out of some kind of bread roll, which ensures a moment of silence before he can continue talking while he chews and contemplates the problem.

Rei shifts in her seat a little.
"As the only 'agent' of hers we know tried anything was being mind-controlled and threatened with her life to try to kill me is now under Xerneas protection or she'll die..."
She pauses.
"We really don't have much evidence honestly."

Sorra nods at Rei's words. "Yes. Admittedly, I'm taking an awful lot on faith here, as I'm sure I've said before. Truthfully, I cannot afford to do otherwise. If all this proves as real as you make it sound, then to dismiss it is foolhardy at best, and damning for all the country at worst. However, I really don't believe there is much quantifiable proof we could offer, short of the 'army of the dead' or whatever marching on Celadon. Or, to put it more simply: they won't believe until the enemy is knocking down our gates."

"So then as it seems it's still on us to solve this issue and to get whatever help we can. As the 'chosen'-"
There's a hint of sarcasm mixed with venom on that last word...
"-it's up to us to convince everyone as we've had the dreams and have seen with our mind's eye what's coming..."
Rei pauses and just sort of trails off.

"It's not like anyone will actually help." Tiki says dryly. "I'm not in the mood to try, and convince, people that they need to prepare for the end of the world. I don't even want to talk about it now. If they aren't going to believe now, then its to late for them.....What about the guild leaders? They all know something is up, and they are some of the strongest people we know personally."

Tiki's cynisism takes Rei by surprise, but she doesn't comment on it. She knows why she's acting this way.

"I dunno what all their plans are. I know they've got plans. Right now it seems like they're focusing on getting people in the guild who wouldn't be up to the fight out of harm's way." Clay frowns. "Ashandr - I mean, Lady Ashandra, seemed like she had some sort of different plan? Or just didn't like the one they had, or something. She didn't think they were being aggressive enough. But I think that's normal for her."
He gives Tiki a concerned look. He knows why she's like that, too, but that doesn't mean he likes it.

Sorra sighs. "Yes, from what few interactions I've had with the woman, that does sound like her. I was under the impression that she and Lady Naida of the Water Branch refuse to show any signs of weakness in front of the other, and will likely end up doing increasingly reckless things just to 'stay ahead'; or at least that's the rumor I heard going around the Guild before all of this started happening. I suspect that the Ground and/or Rock Branches may just be too stubborn to move and will try to ride it all out within their fortified halls."

Clay sighs. "Okay, so we got the Guild, but mostly only the higher-ups probably stand much of a chance, and not all of them are working on the same plan. The human bosses don't believe in the whole thing. We got Xerneas. We got Brenda's Blaziken, I dunno how much help they're gonna be. We got no idea where D'mara is. And if she still does the step-out-of-the-darkness thing she could be anywhere."
He frowns thoughtfully. "Has anybody seen the rest of the Dark Branch? The girl with the creepy laugh? ... Was there ever anybody in the Dark Branch besides her and Laurel?" Given what happened to Laurel, the rest of the Dark Branch are the most obvious minions for the Usurper - and arguably in the most immanent danger from her, too.

Sorra indicates that records show at least half a dozen members of Dark Branch, though she can't really recall their names off-hand, and never met any in person.

"We'll have to consider them all enemies. Either willing or... otherwise."
Rei pauses again as she thinks of Laurel. She quickly shakes it off.
"So... what now?"

Sorra shrugs. "To be honest, I was hoping you had more than this. I get that you're working as hard as you can, and I'm quite grateful for your efforts so far, but I just don't like this 'sit on our hands and wait for shit to happen' mentality that we seem forced to embrace."

"Neither do I." Clay hops up from his seat, more because he can't sit still than because he thinks he's going anywhere. "I wish we had some idea what to look for so we could go looking for 'em. Or we could go stand somewhere, say 'come get us, here we are' and hope they're dumb enough to show up. So what does it look like when a crazy lady who took over a death bird and a bunch of brainwashed sneaky people are hiding out?"

Rei sighs.
"Well then what exactly 'are' we supposed to do, then? I'm doing all I can to research and prepare but really all our paths are done or blocked off. I've been training and trying to get as many on our side, even prepare for if things go wrong. Without any knowledge of D'mara or her movements and it being too dangerous to return to Saffron to find out... there really 'isn't' anything I can see."

"Is it really more dangerous in Saffron than anywhere else? If there's anywhere I'd expect her to have spies it's probably here. This is where she wants to go, it'd make sense to scout it out."
Clay drums his fingers on the table. "I guess we can start out looking, if nothing else... Where do all the sneaky guys in Saffron hang out? Besides the Dark Branch I mean. If she's hiding somewhere in Saffron maybe somebody would know something, or at least know that there's something weird going on. Humans pay more attention to that stuff than Pokémon, they usually just avoid it."
He shakes his head with a sigh. "Wish I could ask Master Nob for advice. Everything always seems so clear after I talk to him... 'Course, he made humaning look easy."
