Adventure Thread - Group A

As Holly comes over, Rei looks up.

"Don't yell at me but yes this is in regards to the dream. The legendary of death, Yveltal."

Having looked through the book for a while, Rei closes it.

"And it's clear what little I already knew and was added on by that woman is about all this one is going to give me."

Rei sighs and puts the book aside. She fishes through one of the few she took from the main Library regarding dreams and Cresselia/Darkrai. If she could find them or a way to contact them, then maybe she could get more info on the woman who's about to initiate everything. Or maybe at least cut off the nightmares.

"I didn't mean 'literally'. I figured you'd say don't do that and think on it right now..."

Rei goes through a few books and after not coming up with much beyond myths and basic information she closes the books and puts them off to the side. She didn't expect to get a location, certainly. But ANYTHING might have been useful. She's not even fully sure if it's one of them doing this. But it's the only dream-based being powerful enough to do this, so it's really the only clue she has. But the books aren't helping. Maybe an indication as to why they'd do nightmares to influence people into saving a nation of humans, or how they were able to tell the future in the first place? As far as she can tell, being able to tell the future like that is impossible for them. So if it is them, are they working with something else? Or is something else doing this? Or are they just lying to her to torture her?

Rei sighs and stacks the books up by the door to take back. They haven't been helpful and she'll probably take them back right away. She sits back down at her desk and looks up in thought.

Holly seems confused, but if it will help Rei, she's all for it! She gathers up her few possessions and her apricorn balls and waits for Rei to finish packing.

"So..where are we going?"

JoJo's small store is still as small as before, though she seems to have a couple more employees than last time (or does she? Tiki can't remember). One of said employees greets Tiki at the door, welcoming her to the shop and asking the usual 'how can I help you?'.

The employee pulls out a notepad and quickly jots down notes. While doing so, she asks if Tiki has a specific type of design in mind or just 'flashy' in general. Once all the details are given, the girl quickly runs some calculations and rings Tiki up. Her total comes to...5000 Crowns. 2000 for the super-fancy custom dress, 2000 for the rush order, and a 1000 commission fee. She doesn't need to pay it all at once, she can set up a payment plan to pay it over time at any rate she chooses.

Clay's feeling significantly better after that intense battle. Maybe adrenaline not attached to a screaming match is just what he needed. Not to mention that it wasn't nearly as embarrassing a defeat as his loss to Tiki or that guy with the killer Magikarp, even if it cost him a lot of money and a trip to the healers.

He's hanging around in the main entryway of the guild now, while his bandaged-up Pokémon relax nearby. Well, most of them relax. Fan is shadowboxing; apparently having only been narrowly taken out means she's not good enough yet.

He looks up when Tiki comes back in, and his face falls a little. Right, he should... probably apologize for the three- or four-cornered shouting match earlier. He waves to her awkwardly and wanders over her way. "... Hey, Tiki."

Clay rubs the back of his neck. "I, uh... I'm sorry about yelling at you earlier." He bites down on the urge to argue her into trying to stay again. "I just... I don't want you to go, but I was being a jerk to you and Rei about it. Sorry."

He gives her a small, hopeful smile. "Can we still be friends, even if you're going to Celadon? I'll try to visit whenever I can, still want to go there sometime myself. Maybe not right away, but... yeah." He turns a little red under his tanned skin, aware that he probably doesn't sound all that eloquent.

"... Rei will be better once she cools down." He sighs a little, himself. "I guess you've been getting ready for the big move, huh? I'm gonna miss you, y'know. Rei will too."

He's not going to try to speak for Holly, since he's not entirely sure Holly was ever really that fond of any of them but Rei and by now he really doubts she likes Tiki much.

"Aw, Tiki..."

At this point Red Child appears to decide that they need comforting. Tiki has plenty of floof available, but here is some more, in the form of a slightly-bandaged Arcanine coming over to curl around the both of them and nose his head under Clay's arm.

"... Thanks, buddy." Clay curls his fingers in Red Child's mane with a sigh. "Well... if you need anything, let me know, huh? I'm probably gonna head up to Cerulean to see Kalani for a while, once you're on your way, but don't forget we're here if you need us."
