"Well, aside from taking care of Breloom's injury. I can use my app to see if there's anything useful around for treating Breloom's injury, or any future injuries. Aside from that, if you guys want to take a break and do your own thing, I'm fine with that." Ethan said. He's silent for a moment, thinking about other things they can do. "I don't know how much help we'll be in helping you with looking for the rare ingredients, or even how to handle them. Though the time it takes to search for it together can be long or short, depending on the situation." In his mind's eye, Ethan can already imagine several ways for the search to go right, and ways for it to go wrong. There's a bit of humor in there, as he remembers of a similar situations in the cartoon shows he had watched.
"Well, we are still at the trainer school. We can team up and look for a group to battle. Or put on a show..." Ethan said, giving a short nod at Axel's direction. "If it's a battle, we can potentially earn enough to cover your end." He said as he looks back at Troy.

Axel listens to the group, his smile tilting a little hearing that Troy lost but then after the group had finished discussing steps Axel 'took the stage.
"Well I have a good idea, what if we help pay for your Challenger experience Troy then get that done, i really wanna do it and this would be the fastest way. looking for some ingredients would be cool but if we can do the Challenge and then head on out towards Oreburg we can catch up with Eva and the others." Axel thinks for a moment adding up something in his head, "Oh, plus, we have to come back here eventually if we wanna tackle Canalave gym so we can try out some of the things we missed when we come back the second time. Wha'cha think?"

"That's not a bad idea. That way, when you find your rare ingredients, you'll have more to use for cooking. What do you think Troy?" Nodding in agreement, Ethan turns to Troy for his answer. While he isn't one to part with his money that easily, if it's to help a friend, or help with his trainer journey, Ethan can allocate some of his funds. "While I would like to check out the classes at the Trainer School, I can do that on our way back. I do however would like to visit the Pokemart before we leave the city."

Troy is a little surprised that Axel seems to be in such a hurry, but quickly adjusts. He nods decisively. "Well, if that's what you want to do, then let's do it. It's a good idea." Underneath the readiness to accept the decision lies some uncertainty and shame at having to depend on the kindness of his companions to progress as a Trainer, but Troy quickly squashed those feelings.

With that the group was able to move on. They left for the place in the brouchers that made clear where the Challenger experience was. Seemingly it was on the outskirts of town. A tall four story building that was set up, and painted a glossy black.
There seemed to be a sign out front marking it as "The Challenger Experience, By Cyth Co.".
It was clear though that there wasn't a crowd near this building, unlike the one that was about in the rest of the city.
Stepping inside they were treated to a lovely aroma that smelled of Chrysanthemum flowers. What was actually in there were several couches and several screens showing a loop of previous fights. It seemed it ran the gambit of all kinds of impersonators for all the members of the elite fours around the globe.
Behind the desk, there was a Young looking Lady who smiled at the group, "Hi there. Welcome to the Challenger experience. Today we've got Seibold, Bruno, Catalain and Malava members of the elite four, as well as a special treat for anyone who can beat those four. the Entreance cost for a group of 3 is 3000. Would you like to participate and hear the rules?"

The pleasant aroma helps Ethan relax a bit as he took a whiff of it when entering the building. He has been excited at the thought of being able to fight a member of the elite four. Well fighting someone at the strength of the elite four, even if they are impersonators. So the lovely aroma of Chrysanthemum flowers have help calmed his nerves. He looks around the room, observing the various videos of past fights.
Ethan first looks at Axel and Troy, he then nods at the receptionist and walks up to the desk. "Yes! We're interested in participating in the challenge. We would like to hear the rules." Ethan greets the youthful looking lady behind the desk with his usual smile. He recognizes the names of the elite four the lady had mention. But he doesn't remember detail information about them. He just remembers their names from magazines, news, and from word of mouth.

The young woman smiled, "Certainly, So how this works is as follows. You will fight each member of our fake elite four in any order you choose. They will each have their own different method of battling you will only learn once you enter the room."
She placed a couple of table like items with six pokeball sized indents on them on the table in front of her, "This machine will tell us how strong each of your pokemon are. Then the fake elite four will be given Three pokemon put on a slightly stronger than your own. You are free to use up to 18 pokemon, or six pokemon each. For each challenge."
She explains, "Each member of the fake elite four will have their own special way of battling. A different battle format or win condition. Which you will learn about once you enter."
She then motions behind her to a pokemon center machine, "After each fight, we will heal your pokemon on site with our special pokemon healing machine, developed by Cyth co. that will heal your pokemon up to unhurt. Then you may challenge the next member. Any questions?"

Troy shakes his head. "None from me, thank you for the explanation." he says. After ensuring that the lady was actually done talking, Troy would turn to his teammates. "Before we start, I want to give both of you either a Spicy Wrap or a Dry Wafer. I think they'll come in handy during the battles, especially if your Pokemon like either of these." He pulls the Snacks from his pack and offers them to the boys.

Ethan listens attentively to how The Challenger Experience is ran. He raises a single hand to about the height of is head, as if half raising his hand to ask his question. "Some of our Pokemon aren't fully healed, since they have battled a bit earlier. So are we advised to heal up our Pokemon first at the Pokemon Center before entering our first Challenger battle?"
"Thanks Troy, they look delicious. I'm sure they'll provide our Pokemon some edge in the battle to come." Ethan thanked Troy as he received one of the snack.

Axel thanks the lady at the counter before turning towards Troy, "Thanks for the foods Bro, this'll help Sin Cara, found out the other day he's a bit of a lover of spicy things."
Contemplating for a moment or two, Axel turns to the gang with a smile, "So, i was thinking, why don't we take on Bruno first, I just feel like i'm drawn to him first because of the whole Johoto league aspect." He cleans his shades before putting them on again, "but i mean, if you guys wanna fight someone elts first then that ok too"
Once asked, Axel pats the two on the back and finishes by saying "Ready when you guys are" with a toothy smile.

"Please and thank you!" Ethan politely asks the lady as he retrieves Breloom's Pokeball and hands it over to her. Turning around, Ethan shakes his head. "I'm fine with Bruno. There's no one in particular that I want to challenge first. How about you Troy?" Ethan turns to Troy, asking for the youth's opinion.

The woman took the pokeball, and any of the other pokeballs that were offered up by the trainers, and quickly ran them through her heal machine. Handing it back over to their trainers.
She smiled and said, "Feel free to come back here inbetween matches to get your pokemon healed back up to full."

"Sure thing!" Ethan said with a smile. "Oh, we should pay for the entry fee before we enter." Mentioning that, Ethan takes out 1,500 PokeYen and hands it over to the lady behind the counter.

It was as they followed into the next room and paid their cash they found themselves in a room that had to be outside. It looked like there in a wide rock quary with large spires left throughout the area. There was a man standing on top of one of the spires, he was clearly tan and wearing the same pants as bruno, but his body was less physically impressive. It was still big, but it looked like more of his work went into the legs then the upper body. His eyes were also more open then bruno's were normally as he stood on top of the spire. He laughed loudly, " Ahahahaha! Welcome trainers! This is your first stage of your Elite four battles today isn't it!? well be excited.
For the match today is easy. You are to take me on, and my two pokemon. You win the match when you knock me out. Or one of the pokemon? Any questions?" |

Ethan waits silently for his companions to ask any questions they may have, as well as for the fake Bruno to answer them. After that moment has passed, Ethan releases Breloom from his ball. "Sh-Boom, time for a challenge. This guy is suppose to be real tough. We win if we knock him out or one of his Pokemon. The fight wont be easy. Luckily we got friends to help out."
Ethan looks over at Troy and Axel and giving his friends a nod significantly he's ready. When he saw that they are also ready for the battle, Ethan turns to face who they're fighting. Striking a dramatic pose, Ethan points at his opponent. "We're ready. Are you ready?"

With a nod from the fake bruno. There was a loud sound of a gong, and the match began. He stood on top of the rock and clearly flexed his muscles, his body becomeing more muscely as he flexed. He looked slightly bigger, and stronger as he stared down at them, from atop his perch on top of the rock. Fake bruno uses Bulk up |

"Alright everyone, ready yourselves. This battle won't be easy, and we need to work together." He calls out to the Pokemon. With the challenge starting, Ethan does a quick assessment of the battlefield from his position. "We win if we just take out one of them. If I recall correctly, an Onix naturally has a hard body, making it quite tough to handle with physical attacks. As for Fake Bruno, his defenses may not be as tough as the Onix, but we can't be so sure. I think we got a fair chance with taking this Bruno out. What do you guys think?" Ethan asks, looking over at Axel and Troy. Ethan

She can feel the heat from the Spicy Treat she ate earlier giving her a boost of energy, making her attacks stronger, but also letting her feel full of vitality. Troy
