As the group left they found themseleves in front of the poketech company head quarters. It was a tall new looking building standing at a height of 5 stories tall. Looking up and around they saw that the tour was about to start. Lead by a smiling brown haired man in a pair of jeans and a poke-tech t-shirt by the name Dirk. He started the tour. For the most part the tour they were lead from place to place. First finding themselves going through the factory area where they assembeled the poke-tech. Interestingly they learned that the pokedex's and poketechs were made from the same base components and os. Though the pokedex is a super upgraded version of the poketechs. Then to the next 3 floor where they were lead through the programing offices. Then at the top was the poke-tech's presidents private office. As they got their they were suprise to see as they were lead up to the roof where their were multiple booths set up. Dirk explained that they were giving away free applications now for anyone with a poketech, or pokedex. I'm purposely leaving this a little free form. Suggest to me an app that'd you think your character might want in the skype chat and we can work out the app's functions. |

Axel wasn't sure what to expect from the tour of the company but he wasn't expecting much. The majority of the tour felt basic and uninteresting, like being back at school and listening to the teacher drone on about things he really didn't care much for. technology and things of that sort didn't wholly interest him but he listened and took in what he could.
Once the tour reached the roof and the mention of the free apps was mentioned, Axel took a while to think of something. Luckily for him there was quite the queue giving him time to think of things that might come in handy.
Before he knew it he was at the front of the line and all he could muster to say to the representative was "Uhh, I do contests, is there an app that can help with practice or something?"

As Axel made his way to the front of the both, he found himself face to face with a pretty looking girl, about four or five years older than her. She looked trendy wearing pretty clothing fitting of a big city girl. With a floppy hat and a leather vest all over a black t shirt and jeans.
She smiled cheerily, for sure! We've got this app called contest-vis! It's this awesome new app that if you either get a friend to hold your poketech or set it up looking at you doing a performance, it'll tell you a contest rating. But even better it gives you accessyou access to con-vis online! Where you can look at otherPerformers contest practices and post your own! It's even a nice way to earn extra cash for performances cause whenyou post one up on there, every share earns you a pokeyen!"
The girl smiled holding out her hands for axel to hand over his dex, "i'll put it right on.

With the tour group, Ethan listen to the details of the various technologies that were told of. While not any seemed too interesting, he does takes of notes any software that relates to Pokemon and medicine. Arriving on the roof, Ethan was surprised to see the various booths that have been setup. He thought that it made no sense to have them setup on the roof, unless it was for private reasons. Hearing Dirk's explanation of the company giving away free software for anyone with a Poketech or Pokedex, Ethan understood that the booths are most likely setup for anyone who's part of the tour.
Pondering for a while, Ethan wasn't sure what application he should get. He walks around the various booths, browsing what was being offered. He eventually lined up at a booth that offered Pokemon related software. Waiting his turn, Ethan eventually arrive in front of the line. Flashing a smile, Ethan greeted the person. "Hello, how are you? I'm really interested in Pokemon caretaking, and I've recently been interested in medicine. So I can be a better help to my Pokemon. I wonder if you have an app that relates to both fields?"

Looking at the persona at the booth it was a man in a lab coat, he looked to be in his early twenties but was completely bald with a full mountain man beard.
He looked at Ethan for a moment with a smile as his eyes moved from side to side as if thinking somewhere or reading something.
After a good ten seconds of this he blinked, "sure, I've got this app here that assesses the current healthiness of a pokemon. Infact if you scan an unhealthy pokemon it'll give you options as to how to help it. It's even coded to the gps area, and will give you general plants in the area you could use."
He said offering his hands out to Ethan, "If you think that'd be useful."

Troy marveled at the sheer height of the building. We only get buildings like this in Rustboro, he thought. The actual subjects of the tour were fairly interesting. Troy had no idea Pokedexes and poketechs were so similar. Troy listened with interest. He was no expert on technology, but he used a lot of it quite commonly, such as tablets and phones, after all, why open a cooking book when you can have access to a whole library of them in data storage. Not that Troy didn't read cooking books anyway. It only made sense for him to be curious about even more sophisticated pieces of technology.
A lot of what was talked about at the programming offices went over his head, but he listened anyway until the group made their way to the roof. Troy took a good look around at the booths as their purpose was explained. Troy immediately knew that he wanted something related to cooking. Cooking was his thing after all. Perhaps they could help him get in touch with other chefs? Maybe that wouldn't be so useful. Something related to ingredients perhaps?
Troy continued to think, and soon he ended up at one of the booths. "Hi," he greeted the person at the booth in a friendly manner. "Do you have any cooking related apps? I'm something of an amateur chef you see."

As he ended up at the front of one of the booths he found himself face to face with a man, who others in his party would've called eerily familiar. He had a fire in his eye, and a smile on his face. He had a bandanna warped around his head, and an apron around his waist. All under redish hair.
He looked at Troy, "Yeah, we do. We've got a lot of apps that'll help you cook. Though kid judging from you're hands. You don't need any of that shit. What you want is this."
He pulled out his own poketech, and placed it on the table, "Food watch, it's this app that tells you what ingredients are special to local areas, or rare ingredients that people have said online are in a given area. After all, you're going to get better at cooking even without a cookbook or something right kid?"
He leaned over and looked him straight in the eye, "so getting you nice ingredients to flare up you're cookers soul is way more useful ain't it?"
He held a hand out,"Hand over you're dex. I'll put it on."

Ethan nodded his head once he heard the bald man's explanation of the app he introduced. The corner of his eyes glints as he observe the man's shaved head which is accompanied with a full set of beard, mountain man beard. He doesn't know why, but something about the man reminds Ethan of his dad's Chesnaught, in a positive way.
"That sounds just like what I need. The extra features sounds truly useful." Looking at the man's larger hands, Ethan nods and takes out his Pokedex. "May I please have that app?" He asks, handling his Pokedex over.

With that hte man with the mountain man beard took his pokedex, and tapped a few buttons. used the touch screen for a couple seconds to tap a few more.
It took thirty seconds before he handed Ethan back his dex, and said, "It's all on there now."
He pulled out a piece of paper with a sigh, and read clearly off of it mechanically, "Thanks for taking the tour sponsored by the TG research group."
He then added, "Contractual obligation for the free apps being payed by them."

"Thank you very much Mister." Ethan takes back his Pokedex and bows slightly. He places his Pokedex away while politely waiting for the man to finish the "script" he read. He keeps his smile on his face while the man explains why.
"Thanks again Mister. Have a nice day!" Ethan said and leaves the line. Looking around, Ethan decides to wait at an open area for Axel and Troy.

Troy found himself liking the man at the stall even at a first glance. Not only was he not afraid to wear an apron in public, (He is one brave man) but he had a certain fire in his eyes that spoke of great strength of character.
The boy's eyebrows raised a little as the man talked about Food Watch. His eyes sparkled slightly in awe of the potential of this app. It was absolutely perfect for what he wanted and Troy said as much. "Food Watch sounds perfect, sir! And you're right, I'm going to get better at cooking by coming up with recipes of my own, and through trying new things."
Troy couldn't hand over his Pokedex quickly enough.

The man quickly took the Dex and tapped buttons as he said, "Thanks for taking the tour sponsored by the TG research group."
With that he handed the dex back and said, "I recommend checking on the ingredients, there's a special moss in season right now that might be something you want to look into."

Troy took his dex back with an eager expression on his face. "I'll look into it as soon as possible, sir! Thank you very much!"
With that Troy left the line and looked around for Ethan and Axel. Finding Ethan rather quickly since he was standing in an open area, Troy walked over to the other boy. "So what kind of app did you get? Mine lets me get information about rare ingredients in an area. I'm a bit of an amateur chef you see," he says with a smile.

Axels eye widened as the man talked about the app, it was exactly what he wanted!
"So i get to look at examples of performances, record my own performances and get ratings on them and also i get paid for submitting my own contest performances for use in the app?! thats awesome! Sign me up!"
Whipping out his pokedex he handed it to the gentleman to have it installed.
once done h made his way back to the trio with a clear grin on his face. "Rare ingredients? Amateur chef?" Axel looked at Troy with a glint in his eye, "This adventure is about to get a whole lot tastier!"
Patting his belly he smiled off into the distance for a second, clearing thinking up some fabulous foods he might get to enjoy.
Snapping out of it and back to reality, "Oh mine? oh it lets me look up performances submitted by other trainers and also lets me record my own for the app, gives me ratings for the performance and then i also get paid too for each one, its a whole heap of performance assistance!"

Ethan nodded in agreement with Axel, while a small grin forms on his face. "Both of you're apps sounds nice! I'm sure they'll come in handy."
Pulling out his Pokedex, Ethan shows the app's icon to the others. "Mine lets me assesses the current healthiness of a Pokemon. If the app scans an unhealthy Pokemon, it'll provide me options on how to help it. There is also a GPS that'll give me information on general plants in the area that I can use." As he explains what his app did, Ethan opens the app and had it scan the area to see if it detected any plants he can use. He the shows the results, whatever or not the app found any.
Filled with excitement, Ethan's grin formed into a smile. "We are all amateurs together. Let us all help each reach new heights and grow into competent human beings."

"Lets," Troy agrees smiling. "Well, what should we do now? I was told that there's a deal on a special moss available right now. If I use my app, I should be able to find where it's located. I'm sure a rare ingredient like that would let me cook up something special for everyone. I'm thinking some kind of jelly maybe, depending on what kind of moss it is." Troy stops for a moment, and thinks. "But although I'm a little excited to show off with my cooking, I think it might be more important to do something together as a group. We could find someone to battle maybe? There's the Trainer School, I'm sure the school kids wouldn't mind battling us, unless you know of any other Trainers in the city?"

"The Trainer School is a sure way to find someone who's willing to battle us." Ethan said in agreement. Pausing to think, Ethan remembers hearing familiar voices earlier in the day. "There is a group of trainers that we meet before, here in the city. In matter of fact, one of them is a chef in training. There are other groups of trainers here in Jubilife. We only met them briefly at Jubilife TV station, before we met you." Ethan said, turning his head to look around the area. He's unsure if he'll spot any of the other trainer groups here in the tour group.
"If we go searching for that moss, we might run into Eva's group. Though I'm not sure if Jun will also be looking for that moss. I do imagine he would be interested in it."

With that comment in mind the group found themselves looking out over the tour group and a familiar voice said, "Hi Ethan! Whose the new face?"
Jun slapped Ethan on the back a couple time smiling as largely as he could. On the other side of things Claudia walked over from the side, with Eva.
Star was perched atop her head, and gave Ethan a stink eye, seemingly puffing it's chest out and asserting dominance.
With a frown Eva then added, "Jun. Tact. You lack it."
"How are things. Mr.Runner up?" Eva followed up with a smirk.
Claudia commented to Eva from the side, "I'm pretty sure that didn't have a lot of tact either"

Somewhat startled by a sudden series of slapping on his back, Ethan turns around to a see recognizable face that matched the familiar voice. "Hello Jun, Evangaline, Claudia. It's nice to see you again." Ethan smiles, giving Claudia a short bow. "How have you been? Found anything new towards your goals?" Looking above Claudia's head, Ethan gives Star a quick wink in response to the stink eye. "It's also good to see you too, Star. You got quite a healthy glow around you."
With a short chuckle, Ethan looks to Claudia. "It's alright. I believe they meant well." Looking over at Troy, and then back towards the others, Ethan clears his throat. "Era had personal business to attend to. We don't know how long it'll last, so the TG group decided to have Troy take Era's place. Something about their research data." With that Ethan gestures a hand over to Troy. "This is Troy."

Jun interrupted to yell, "WE GOT OUR GYM BADGES! HAHAHAHAHA! WE EARNED IT!"
With a sigh Claudia added, "From Canclave ci-"
"It was epic, the man who runs the gym there he made us ride on a bo-" Jun continued to inturuptt as he started the tale, when a Poketech company Note book was tossed at his head from the side, and he was sent sprawling.
"Calm down Jun." Evangaline said looking at him.
Claudia noted, "Suffice to say it was a fun."
She smiled at Ethan, Axel, and Troy, "Sorry about that Troy, We got side tracked by Jun there. I'm Claudia."
Evangaline gave him a kurt nod, as she tried to look aloof while bending over and picking up her sketch book. Notably, she was wearing a gothic lolita dress this time, something that looked relatively fresh and new.
"She's Evangaline Mcdowell Springfield the Seventeenth." Claudia said, pointing at her friend.
From the ground Jun raised a hand and said, "But you can call her Eva."
With that she took off her backpack and dropped it on Jun's face, "Don't call me Eva."
"You know you love us calling you Eva." Jun Retorted, rolling out of the way of a second drop of her backpack.
He rolled across the ground until he was in front of troy, and extended a hand while laying back to the ground, "I'm Jun, by the way."
