"But everyone runs out of steam eventually," the girl projects to Spectrequiem, "noooo one can never not wear themselves ooout."Leslie quickens her pace as Meowspunny doubles her own efforts. The Slacker lazily aims her launcher to the side, firing off another load towards Mr Blobberton 4th, Esq. Leslie: Shift Actions moves to O5. Standard Action uses Cap Cannon: Glue Cap on Blob. AC 2. Rolled 17. Blob is Slowed and Initiative is lowered by 5. Minor Action applies Inspired Orders on Meowspunny. +1 Evasions +2 Saves.
Meowspunny: Shift Action Sprints to W5.

Which she does, the laser bolt drilling a hole... in the air where Requiem was moments before. The woman stares impassively at Soleil from her new position, before heading back, around a corner and into an alleyway. Leslie moves up, and fires a glue cap. The sticky solution seems to mix with the goop, and cause it to slow slightly. Thoron, Silas, and the Parasect each move up, repositioning to a more advantageous position. At long last, the Blop focuses once more on the little insect in front of it that had delivered such a powerful shock. Leaning down with its bulbous head, it sprays a thick black goo all over the Luxio in front of it. Soleil hits with Bullseye. Reguiem uses Teleport to avoid it. The Blop takes an injury from Spark and is Paralyzed. Leslie hits with a Glue Cap. The blop is Slowed and has its Initiative reduced. The Blop takes damage from Poison. The Blop is Drowsy. Lowe takes 27 damage from Octazooka.

"Not weak? Then why is she dead?" Soleil called out at Requiem. "Bleh, squishy dead data! Gone forever! Because you abandoned her and ran away because you are weak. Just like you are doing right now! If you are so strong turn around and face me. Just you and me, one versus one!" She yells as she runs full speed, ignoring doing anything else except running after the woman. If only she didn't have witnesses and could fly..." As she ran she extended her wind senses in front of her. If Requiem tried to escape, Soleil needed as much info as possible to tell where she was going. Soleil is sprinting and shifting. If Thoron gives Caprious whirl she will standard sprint, then shift to AF4 If no caprious whirl she will standard sprint then shift to AA4

Silas watches the team's movement with a touch of resignation. The Pokemon have the best chance of actually doing damage to the blob, and all he needs to do is keep them up and fighting. Since Lowe hasn't taken significant damage yet, there's no need for healing. That means he's about to do a monumentally stupid thing or two and hope it saves the fight. He pulls out his knife and walks right up to the blob, planning to dive in front of its next attack. Meanwhile, Parasect chases after his prey. She can't run forever, so a face full of debilitating spores is in Requiem's near future. Silas:
Standard: Equip Crude Knife Shift to P7. Use next turn to Intercept for Lowe if he is attacked, eating an AOO as well.
Parasect: Sprint to AH4

Seeing as Requiem had more or less fled by now... although Soleil was still adamantly pursuing her, Thoron called out, " How are you to enjoy our demise, Requiem, if you run with your tail between your legs? Even Angel had more dignity than that!", in a bid to goad the target back. He didn't expect it to work, though, this Requiem had... peculiar priorities. At any rate, he couldn't affect anything more over there. It was best to focus on bringing down this enemy. At least it looked like things were going well, with their combined force- Why was Silas charging at the Blob? Thoroughly perplexed, Thoron nonetheless kept an eye out for incoming attacks, on behalf of his allies. Their Pokemon would be reclaimed by their Pokeballs, the humans... weren't so cleanly contained. And who was expected heal their downed Medic? Thoron binds Capricious Whirl to Silas. -2 Ap (0 remains for Binding...)
Lowe uses Bite on the Blob. AC2 - 17, flinch on 15+ DB6 - 33 Physical Dark damage

"Guyyyyys, should we split?", she asks while absentmindedly firing another round into the Gelatinous bl-Ooze with a little more force than before. "Like she's the, or a, source of the goopies, oozies, sludgies, muckies, and blobbies... kind of important."She doesn't wait for an answer, the query was simply an offering of cooperation among the team. Meowspunny continues her chase. If anyone recalls, Leslie never even told the cat to go after Requiem. Cat-bunny does as cat-bunny will do. Leslie: Standard Action uses Cap Cannon: Bean Cap on Blob. AC 2. Rolled 10. 30 set Normal Physical Damage. Swift Action activates Roughneck: 1 AP, lowers Blob's Special Attack by 1 CS. Shift moves to T5.
Meowspunny: Sprint Action moves 10 to AG4.

It seems right now that the Meowstic is winning the impromptu race to catch Requiem, though Soleil really isn't that far behind. Lowe delivers a swift chomp to the Blop, which cause it to writhe, and ripple. It looks as if it might turn into a puddle - but it doesn't. Instead it reforms, looking more fluid - and angrier - than before. It quickly takes aim at the impertinent little pest, with the only brief distraction coming from Leslie's cap, which causes a little splatter of ooze as it hits. The Blop angrily thrashes around with its tentacles, as it shots a corrosive goop at Lowe, which the Luxio can't seem to avoid. It does spare a glance over at Silas, who moves up to... engage? Or something. Meanwhile, Parasect scuttles towards the alleyway. Poor Soleil, being further behind in the chase than a mushroom. The Blop is Staggered and takes 1 injury from Bite. The Blop is Flinched. The Blop heals all Volatile Status/temporary conditions, and 1 Persistent Status (Paralysis). The Blop uses Lock-On on Lowe. The Blop takes damage from Poison. Leslie hits with the Bean Cap. Lowe takes 32 damage and an injury from Gunk Shot.

Frowning as he advanced, albeit only slightly (forward, not frowning. His frown was quite pronounced), Thoron answered their lethargic ally, " If by 'split', you mean separate off, it seems that operation is already well underway If curiously skewed..." He didn't think that was what Leslie meant, though. Regrettably, they couldn't exactly leave this newest creation to its devices. Lowe, for his part launched another attack, but without his usual buildup. He was supremely annoyed at his tenacious prey. Such a tenacious, hard-hitting blop... He probably wished he had chased after its master, as well. Thoron unbinds Capricious Whirl from Parasect (as a Free Action) Thoron uses Dazzling Dervish and binds Capricious Whirl on Lowe. (Through Commander's Voice)
Lowe uses Spark on The Blop. AC2 - 10 DB8 - 31 Physical Electric damage (Dazzling Dervish causes attacked enemies to suffer -3 to All Rolls this turn) Lowe trades in his Sitrus Berry Digestion Buff.
Thoron advances to N6.

When Thoron advises Silas on dodging attacks, Silas remembers that he should probably communicate his plan, and dodging isn't part of it. While keeping his focus on the blop, Silas half-yells back toward the others. "Your Pokemon is our only shot at beating this thing. We have to keep it up and attacking." When the beast continues focusing on Lowe, Silas gives it a solid poke with his knife. Meanwhile, the mushroom continues as fast as its host's short legs will carry it. It'll catch Requiem. Eventually. Someday. Probably. Silas: Intercept for Lowe. Attack with the knife and Disengage toward Lowe if the Octillery's attack misses. I'm assuming this won't happen, so I didn't bother rolling for it.
Edit (the struggle attack): AC 4: 10 DB 4: 14

Soleil continues her full sprint determined to not let Requiem escape. As she rounds the corner, she can't see Requiem but barely feels her with the wind around the corner. Good. Next round she might be able to get within range! "Nothing? Not going to argue why she died? Not going to come back and teach me a lesson or avenge your friend? Wow, you really are weak." Soleil yells. Soleil shifts and sprints to A26, wind sense extends all the way to I22 so I can feel Requiem around corner.

"Y'well, leaving Sol'y as the one solely dealing with Ms Requiem... figured that didn't seem so smart." She fires one of her remaining charges at the Blop before heading on. "B'sides, I'm tryinnnng to catch up to Meowspunny."Catbunny goes where catbunny wants, and catbunny wants to chase the weirdo trying to abscond. Meowspunny: Shift action Sprints to D23.
Leslie: Standard Action uses Cap Cannon: Bean Cap on Blop. AC 2. Rolled 4 vs Status. 30 Normal Physical Damage. Swift Action activates Roughneck; Blop's Special Attack is lowered one stage. Shift Action moves to Y5.

Meowstic moves up, hugging the wall. Not literally. Probably. Soleil isn't that far behind, the pair of them briefly seeing their target, before she flickers away. There's momentarily a slight flash from around the corner, but luckily it doesn't seem to do any harm, besides making Soleil and Meow's hair/fur briefly rise. ȁȗȝLjȎȍȍȔLjǺȍșȝȑȍȕLjȊȔȑȖȓȑȖȏLjȗȝȜǔLjȜȐȍȖLjȊȉȋȓLjȑȖLjȎȝȚȜȐȍȚLjȉȟȉȡǖLjǩȖȌLjȜȐȍȖLjȏȍȜLjȜȐȉȜLjȎȍȍȔȑȖȏLjȗȎLjȉȊȚȝȘȜLjȌȑțȉȘȘȍȉȚȉȖȋȍLjȉȏȉȑȖǔLjȜȐȗȝȏȐLjȑȜLjȌȗȍțȖǏȜLjȎȍȍȔLjȔȑȓȍLjțȐȍǏțLjȚȍȉȘȘȍȉȚȍȌLjȑȖLjȚȉȖȏȍǖLjǽȖȎȗȚȜȝȖȉȜȍȔȡǔLjȟȑȖȌLjȐȉțLjȉLjȚȉȖȏȍLjȔȑȕȑȜǖØ Lowe dives for the crimson mass, discharging electricity as he darts around it. The Blop doesn't seem to be amused, as it focuses on Lowe once more, unleashing a discharge of goop on the Luxio even as Leslie scores a hit on it. It looks to be fairly wounded. For a given definition of blobby woundedness. Meanwhile, Parasect arrives and rounds the corner... only to wonder where its target went. At least it beat the cat and the human. But, to what? Lowe hits the Blop with Spark, and Dazzling Dervish. The Blop uses Lock-On on Lowe. Leslie hits with her Cap Cannon. Lowe takes 20 damage from Octazooka.

Lowe was getting quite sick of this wet blop of an enemy (and also thoroughly beaten), and so after his next bite was delivered, slunk back in the hopes of a moment's peace. Lowe's trainer, meanwhile, finally understood why Silas would charge at their semi-liquid opponent. Or thought he did. It was a rather extreme plan, if he understood right... On a more sensible note, he replies, " If Soleil were to leave with most of our Pokemon, engage Requiem, and still lose, one would wonder why our target left in the first place." Thoron (somehow) uses Capricious Whirl on Soleil. If Soleil refuses, instead use Focused Training on Lowe, Silas and Leslie.
Lowe uses Bite on the Blop, and Disengages to O9. AC2 - 9 DB6 - 27 Physical dark damage

Now that she is around the corner and out of sight, Soleil quickly glances over her shoulder for a moment to make sure nobody could see her, then she drew on her wind powers and quickly ran across the air. As her feet left the air and she felt her body free of the ground, Soleil closed her eyes for a moment to just enjoy the feeling of flying. She allowed her wind senses to guide her around a corner, but frowned and opened her eyes when she felt nothing in front of her. She was surprised to see just two doors and a dead end, but no Requiem for a moment and quickly moved to the middle where she had last felt Requiem. Then she extended her senses to feel through the cracks of the door, but she still couldn't feel Requiem. It didn't make sense. There was no way she had gotten out of Soleil's range. Deciding to take a guess, Soleil picked the door straight ahead, landed in front of it, and quickly attempted to open it. Swift, Fly. Shift to J21 and attempt to open the door

Thoron's Pokemon seems to be on its last legs, and the enemy's impeccable aim makes it impossible to get in the way of any attacks. That leaves Silas with one option, and fortunately, it moved in range to help. Silas takes a cautious step back toward Lowe, then pulls out a restorative and sprays the medicine on the Pokemon. He's not accustomed to working in the middle of a fight, so he's forced to hold the Luxio still with one hand and apply medicine with the other. Further up the alley, Parasect continues his dash forward to find... nothing? The mushroom looks upward, trying to process the information from its host's clouded eyes for some way of accessing its target. He would have started climbing the wall, maybe the blue woman did too. Silas: Disengage to O8, Hyper Potion on Lowe.
Parasect: Shift to I21. Perception, rolling here because the results don't affect post content: WkpRMcUY1d6 1d6

Soleil rounds the corner, and heads for a door. But, upon getting there, she realizes that there's no knob. Or lock. Or... anything. It seems to be something along the lines of a fire exit. A quick check reveals that the other door is identical. It doesn't look like they can be opened from this side. This seems to be too much, and the creature loses cohesiveness, sprawling into a puddle. Which, unfortunately, Silas and Lowe are standing in. Some of the foul-tasting stuff gets into Lowe's mouth, too. Bleh. Not the best chew toy. Parasect doesn't see anything besides more nothing. It doesn't seem like its target is here. The Blop Faints.

"Ohhhh, good. Sploort. Spluuuurrch." She blows a raspberry to mimic the squelching defeat of Blop the Mighty. The guys are fine and Meowspunny isn't next to her so sadly she can't just stop here. Leslie trudges down the alley, reloading her cannon's empty chambers. Meowspunny however, is not pleased. Shouty Lady is no where near strong enough to annihilate Spectrequiem so quickly. This makes the second time something has escaped play time. Bunnycat pitter-patters to the door Shouty Lady is angry at. Doors are only minor obstacles to the bunnycat. She licks it. The door is her's now, and she decides what happens to her stuff. Ears lift... Leslie: Standard reloads two ammo. Shifts to AD4.
Meowspunny: Shifts to J21. Push Maneuver on the Fire Door via Telekinetic. Rolled Accuracy because I hate myself and got a 1. 18 Focus vs the Fire Door's Athletics or Combat.

Thoron was just a little bit surprised as the Blop they had been fighting finally succumbed, if only because of how suddenly it did so. To Lowe, he orders, " Move aside and shake yourself off," then goes to apply a restorative of his own on the Luxio before following Leslie. Since their choices appeared to be returning to the Warehouse or going to check on Soleil, and... the latter choice was required to get their Pokemon back, it seemed as though they were continuing the chase. As they walked, he speculates aloud, " Perhaps Requiem needs time between calling forth these monsters? If she was vulnerable after this most recent one, it would explain why she fled so quickly." Super Potion on Lowe, recover 35 HP. Ending Stratagem effects.

Silas lets out a relieve sigh at the collapse of their foe. It was a pretty close thing, and it seems like the team should have stuck together on this one. If the whole team had been there, it would have fallen twice as fast and with minimal risk of fainted Pokemon. "That would explain why we aren't swimming in goo right now. She made multiple before, but perhaps she channeled all of her power into this one? I'll properly bandage your Pokemon later, but we should meet the others first. Hopefully they have caught up with Requiem by now."Upon arriving at the doors, Silas looks over the area to see if a Psychic trail gives any clues about Requiem's flight. Psionic Sight: 3d6
