Moria nods as she takes in what the ancient Pokemon revealed. So their new forms were the result of 'breaking the cycle.' She frowns. "Something tells me Team Bond was the cause of the disappearances. After all, we got these forms after waking up in those pods at the lab."
The offer of breakfast lightens Moria's mood. "Breakfast would be great, Yveltal." After a moment, she asks, "You said you have a job?"

Chris takes a moment to pull his beak from the ground before straightening up, perhaps too straight, and focuses, taking perhaps a too rigid stance while changing back into his human form. "A-a-ah, yes, Shepard. I'll try not to worry about it." It would be impossible to think maybe that he'd stopped something else from coming and staying the night, but he'd try. Chris shakes his head at the offer of breakfast. Or, tries to at least, as his stomach betrays him and starts growling loudly. "I... breakfast would be nice. Thank you sir."

Callix takes in Yveltal's words with a rather flat stare. It wasn't that he wasn't interested, or didn't believe the great bird, but it was something he had already accepted. After that, this was just a little bit more. No use fretting over what was already done. "Breakfast sounds wonderful, thank you."

The ancient man nods, pulling a few plates from his basket and beginning to pile bacon and eggs onto them from two more containers inside. "I am aware of what Bond is doing. As I mentioned, I do have a job. I am the Shepard between this world and the next. I find souls who have lost their way or their bodies, and lead them where they need to go. As you can imagine, it's a very demanding job, so I can't do much else. This morning will be fairly easy so I have just a bit of time to speak to you." He nods, smiling gently. "And there is something I would like for you all to do for me."

Chris stands uncomfortably to the side as Yveltal unpacks eggs and bacon and grimaces slightly. "Uh, maybe I'll skip breakfast after all. It's not a big deal to miss a meal once in a while."

Callix takes his plate gratefully and sits down, leaning his back against the tree. He slowly eats breakfast, sharing food with Kai, the little Croagunk bouncing up and down happily at this. He sits silently in thought for a while, his eyes flickering around as he attempts to rearrange things on a mental whiteboard. Eventually he seems to conclude with a slight scowl on his face. His brows furrow, and he brings a hand up to his chin, pressing against it and turning his head, a loud series of popping sounds filling the air. "I'd be willing to do a favor for you. Should make us even for the night and the breakfast." He pauses for a moment, and his eyes flick to Chris before he continues to speak. "What can you tell us about the storm bringer from last night? We saw her, mourning the loss of Chris's... predecessor. I have a feeling we are going to encounter her again, and unfortunately not in a positive manner."

"A favor?" Moria thinks for a moment. "Well, it would feel wrong to not repay your kindness." While she waits, she drags her bag from the trunk and releases Tilda.
Once her plate is served, Moria takes it with a word of thanks, and she sits on the forest floor. For a few seconds, she simply stares at her food, deep in thought. She stands up and thinks about her human form, her eyes closed. Once she shifts, she sits back down on the floor. She glances at her hands, then looks again in surprise. The skin of her hands is clean and spotless. She pulls back the sleeve of the Team Bond uniform and sees markless flesh.
Moria whispers, "How?" She looks at her arm in wonder, though it is tinged with guilt from how it came about. Tilda looks at her trainer with glee, performing a stumbling dance with a piece of bacon hanging from her mouth.

The man looks to Chris, nodding. "I do not typically stock for vegetarians. I am sorry." He passes plates to the other two, and keeps one for himself. He looks to Callix, then to Moria, and sighs. "The favor... I want you to stop the coming calamity. I fear I cannot tell you when or where it will happen, only that it will. As the Shepard, I do not have the time nor ability to interfere. As for the storm bringer..." He shakes his head, leveling a look at Callix. "Which one do you mean?"

Callix blinks a few moments in surprise, then shrugs it off. He knew little of the occult outside what he had experienced, so it shouldn't surprise him that there was more than one of the entity he was referring to. He closes his eyes a moment as he remembers the details he could see. "Her human form was darker skinned, spiky yellow hair, although that part is probably obvious... Beyond that, black tank top shirt, camouflage pants. All the details I could pick up from the distance."

The ancient one nods, understanding. "Ah. Young Natasha. I can imagine she'd be upset... She was in love with the previous Moltres.... It was a nice story as well, but all stories must end. I imagine she'll take some time to grieve before making her next move. Bond was able to capture several of the Eggs during the end of their Cycle, and... Well. You know what happened after." He looks a bit sad, settling his plate aside for the moment. "And because of that... I need you to act."

Callix sighs slightly at the information about Natasha. It was what he had expected... but it brought up some unpleasant memories. At least now he had a basis of knowledge to work with if they ran across her again. Knowing a target's emotional weaknesses was important. He was about to ask a few more questions, but before he could Yveltal looped back around to the point he had been pushing before. It was annoying, and Callix's eyes narrowed to reflect this. "Quite frankly, stopping this 'calamity' that's coming sounds a bit out of our league, and out of my comfort zone. Calamities happen all the time to people, and most the time, they deserve it." There was a bit of a pregnant pause in the air before he picked up his speech again, his tone hardening. "I don't like touching things that even remotely deal with legends, gods, whatever you want to call them. Just because I've become one doesn't change that fact. So I have a question for you Shepard. Why should I care?" He stresses every word of that last question and pushes his food to the side, half eaten, leaning in and staring down the deity before him, a hollow look in his eyes.
Yet despite his words, those who took the time to observe Callix closely would notice: his hands were trembling.

After a few seconds of guilty marveling at her arm, Moria realizes what she's doing and slides her sleeve back down. She looks up to hear the conversation between Callix and Yveltal, and her bacon and eggs are nearly forgotten amidst the noticeable tension in the air. So Yveltal wanted them to stop a calamity? She looked from Yveltal to Callix, noting his trembling hands.
Moria takes a breath. "To be fair, Yveltal, stopping a calamity is a pretty large favor, even for your generous actions. How could we do anything, even with all of us on board with this?"

Chris shakes his head and waves his free arm. "It's really ok. I'll try to find something later." It really was an inconvienence sometimes, but it was a good thing. Things didn't need to get hurt for him to eat. And then Yveltal told them that someone was mourning who he was now. He'd hurt someone in the most irrevocable kind of way, even if he didn't mean to. Chris sat down and kind of folded into himself, listening to the others talk while he held the still apparently sleeping oddish. "I... is Moltres really dead?" Chris would ask at almost a whisper after Callix's outburst.

The bird nods as Callix speaks, leveling his ancient gaze at the boy. "You're right. It's COMPLETELY out of your league. However, Lost One, the time when things cared about what you want or think has passed. It doesn't matter if you WANT to deal with Legends or not, as they and their chosen will be actively hunting you for what they believe you have done. As for why you should care... Well, I suppose you don't have to. But this is not a directed misfortune. This is a LITERAL calamity. If it should come to pass, you won't have to worry about what to do next, as there will be nothing left. Is THAT clear enough?" He huffs, turning to the more respectful two. "As for your course of action... I regret to inform you that I do not know. The ones who would have an inkling of what would need to be done to change the future would be the TimeKeeper, Celebi, the Temporal Lord, Dialga, and the Wish-Granter, Jirachi. I have not heard from Jirachi or Dialga in some time, as they appear to be asleep and incredibly busy, respectively. Celebi should reside in this forest, but I have not seen them in months. I fear they are trying to patch this timeline or prevent this calamity from coming. However..." He grins at the three of you, hope in his face. "The three of you have broken the Cycle, knowingly or not. You might be able to change the future. As for you, young feather..." He says the word 'Feather' almost as a title or a term of endearment. "I did not help him move on, so I do not believe so. This is some dark magic though, so I cannot say for certain. Do you believe him to be dead?"

Chris sits for a minute squirming slightly in discomfort. "I... think... I heard a voice... in... my head." It wasn't something he really wanted to admit. He'd tried to ignore the thought, but... it wasn't him who told them all to run last night. He didn't know what was going on. But... the voice did. "I didn't... wanna say anything... I- it, sometimes... I don't want to be crazy and a freak too."

Quite suddenly, Callix's demeanor shifts, suddenly grinning and leaning back, as relaxed as could be, absentmindedly playing with his wrench in his hands. Kai had finished with his food at that point, and Callix begins to pet his head with a smile. "Voices in your head? Great! Situation keeps getting more and more interesting, don't you think?" That isn't directed particularly at anyone, just the room at large. "Well, I suppose I should ask for more information then, now that it's come to light. If you're willing to provide it, of course. What were do you know of the three legends whose forms we hijacked? Are there any who were close to them, like Natasha, that we should know about if we run across them in the future? Any advice on first steps for us to take if we're gonna stop this calamity that you seem so certain is going to happen?" He pauses, then flashes his wide grin, perfect teeth sparkling. "I have all day to ask questions, but you don't, so we should probably get these things out of the way sooner rather than later."

Moria studies Callix as he speaks, her thin eyebrow raising as his demeanor shifts. She glances empathetically at Chris, but she decides to refrain from speaking for the moment. Remembering her food, she eats the bacon and eggs Tilda kindly left for her. As she eats, she looks from Callix to Chris to Yveltal, her neutral expression becoming noticeably tense as the conversation carries on.

The ancient man lays a hand on Chris's shoulder, nodding. "This is a good sign, child. Listen to it, and it shall guide you well. And no, you're not crazy. There would be more, and they would be arguing if that were the case." He nods as if speaking from experience. Then, he turns to Callix, a mad grin entering his own face. "You wish to know everything? You assume I have time to deal in every matter then, brat? But fine. You are asking good questions, so I shall give you answers. You are most likely to encounter someone working for YOUR form's beloved in the near future. Possibly several. The Dancer had no ties I'm aware of, as she preferred the company of human kind. As for your first steps... Didn't you already have a plan before you ran into me? That should work fine." He takes a deep breath and looks to the sky. "And I know this is coming because of my curse. I know the time all things will die. Or I SHOULD. Recently, things have been... fluctuating. This can occur due to an act of kindness or someone stepping in when they normally wouldn't, but never on this scale. As it is now, I cannot predict death. I can only respond to it." He looks back to the Earth, and off into the distance. "You have time for one more question. Each. Make it count."

Callix thinks for a moment, weighing his options. He could ask something personal, but that wouldn't help their current situation. It wouldn't help them move forward. He'd rather gain more information about the present. "I assume Bond has been doing this to others. What other legends have had their cycles interrupted, and should we therefore be on the lookout for with Bond?"

Chris smiles as much as he's able to at the moment. "I'll try to remember that." He stays quiet after that, trying to think of a good question to ask. The only things that were coming to mind were really stupid to be honest... Except... Maybe... "You know where people are gonna... die, right? Could you... tell us where there's the most uh... fluctuating? So we could help?"
