The last thing you remember was the nice doctor strapping you into the fancy Unovan machine, and your checkup starting. You remember a prick in your neck, and a sudden, hot heaviness entering your body, almost like an injection or a vaccine... Then a sudden pain and blacking out. As you come too, you don't hear anything due to the soundproofing of the Unovan machinery. You all DO notice something very odd though. Your viewpoints have changed. Were you this tall or short before? Everything's a bit hazy as the doors to the machines open and the scent of metal fills the air. What lies before you is something pulled out of a slasher movie. The bodies you can see are not whole, and there are splatters of blood against the walls. Whatever tore through here must have been very powerful indeed. As you look around, you end up seeing your things on a table nearby... and three pokemon in the room. Three LEGENDARY pokemon. What are they doing here?! Did they come out of the pods that the others were in? Oh gods above are you next?! You can all still speak Common (English), even in your pokemon form.

'General anesthetics' is the first thing that comes to Vivian's mind as she feels the effects of the drug. By the time she wakes up, she expects something to be wrong, but not everything! Corpses? Her body modified against her will? Creatures of legend standing there as if claiming credit for the slaughter?
She groggily stands, or tries to, mindful of her new, stubby body. She's short now, incredibly tiny for that matter. Surgery of this kind should be impossible beyond brain transplants. She tries to look closer at the figures standing before her, and at the open pods. Details are the only advantage she can shoot for, if there are truly any of those at hand.
It's surprisingly easy to let her panic leave her, or suppress it, or whatever one does with emotions and feelings. A residual effect? She isn't sure. Her arm is still artificial, she can tell, and so are her eyes. How strange, that they decided to leave those on her.

Within moments of regaining consciousness, Moria Delienza shoots up and screams, eyes wild and erratic. She sits still for a brief moment, taking in the pod as adrenaline pumps through her body. The former performer blankly scans her body in the dim light filtering through the small window on the pod. Instead of her own disfigured legs, she sees small, thin and white legs ending with a point at each end. Her hands are now small, black ovals, and her arms (even thinner than her new legs) are black as well, which meld into what appears to be a slim black dress with a green ring around the middle. Before she can take in her new appearance any further, the pod door opens, and a horrific sight lies before her.
Moria closes her eyes tight, taking several deep breaths. Calming down, she slips out of the pod, taking a few unsteady steps, and pointedly looks at the rest of the room, avoiding the bodies and blood when she can. The table right beside her has the bag she brought with her, the bag that held her remaining possessions. The pods around the room hold---. She freezes, her eyes wide and fearful. Three legendary Pokemon (a Mesprit, Moltres, and Raikou) are standing, each one at the foot of a pod. For a brief, terrifying moment, she wonders if they are responsible for the carnage, but realizes that there is no blood on them.
"What--" Moria stops, shocked at the sound of her voice: soft and smooth with a melodious ring. She just stands in place with wide eyes and a gaping mouth, her hand resting on her throat.

Whatever thoughts had started to form in Chris' head as he woke up were quickly torn asunder by the... travesty that lay in front of him. It was... How could anything have done this? There was so much blood... And now Chris made his own contribution to the mess in the room, what was left of the first real meal he'd had in a while joining the blood with choking gag. He raises an arm to wipe his mouth only to see... fire?! "What?!" He shouted and shook his... weirdly shaped arm to try and put it out to no effects. It wasn't... hurting. Which was even more strange. What was going on?
It was only after looking at the rest of what he could see of himself that he realized something was terribly wrong with him. Like... wings and clawed feet and fire weren't normal! "Why... What's going on?" Chris asked, mostly to himself as he looked around at the only other three... living things in the room. He felt his stomach turn at the thought of so much death again.

Callix takes a moment to gather himself. Interesting. He could see the reactions of the legends. Hear them too. He felt shorter, was shorter, and felt like he was on all fours. Putting all the pieces together... He looked down for a moment. Huh, paws. Where were the opposable thumbs? That might take some getting used to. He opened his mouth, closed it, and bit down once more. Sometime was off, and not the fact that his teeth were mostly canine. A bigger difference than that. He brought a paw up to his face, and immediately poked it on the end of a veeeeeeeeeeery long tooth. Huh. He had tusks now. Interesting. Well, they probably were still technically teeth. He didn't know of any canine species of pokemon that had tusks, although if he was reading the situation right, he wasn't exactly a typical pokemon. Actually, feeling around his body, twisting his head to see the shape, he wasn't quite sure he was canine at all. More feline? Oh well, it wasn't really important.
He takes a few steps forwards into the room, trying to feel out his new body, new arms and legs. Minus the arms part. The gruesome scene in the room isn't particularly a bother for him, besides trying to avoid stepping in the blood along the way. He could see his things on the table, including his wrench and Kai's pokeball. However, without hands, it might be a bit hard to collect them. He takes a moment, observing the scene, before making his way over to the most in tact labcoat he can find, and attempting to find a way to slip it on, testing his dexterity in this new form.

As Callix and Chris focus on the forms they used to have, they both find they shift back to their human forms. With a bit of focus, they feel like they could swap between forms, though it takes a moment or two. How bizarre... How are you able to do this? What was IN those needles?
As Vivian and Moira are looking around, they notice the Moltres and the Raikou turn back into humans... Wait, those are the two boys who were brought here with you! How did they... What are they..... This raises a lot of questions.

Chris pats his body as he looks down as his renewed form. "I'm... me again!" It was honestly a relief, even if he could feel... the other one laying beneath the surface. A memory of the needle piercing his neck flashed in his head and he rubbed the back of his neck. "They... said it was just a medical check up..." He was... part pokemon now? The other guy was one of the guys they were doing a check up on too. "Hey... You're name is uh... Collin or something? Are you ok?"

Just as he was beginning to test on the lab coat, something... odd began to happen. Within a moment, he was back to his normal human self, with a fancy labcoat and Team Bond outfit. He blinks for a moment, somewhat surprised, but then it's back to business as usual. He could pull off the labcoat style. Maybe he'd keep this one. Wasn't sure he liked the Team Bond outfit though, it could probably go. Maybe he'd keep it around for sentimental value. Although, did they keep his old clothes? He couldn't remember... There was a long pause, then he sniffed the air for a few moments. Something smelled like blood. Well, the entire room, but closer.
He looks up as he's addressed, slipping the labcoat off as he does so. A quick glance confirmed his suspicions... it wasn't as clean as he thought. There was probably blood all over his back now... He paws at his back, trying to feel the blood, twisting his head to try to get a look at it. "It's Callix, and yeah, I'm fine. Got blood on my back though, I think, that's too bad. I could have made the uniform work, too. Eh, oh well." He pauses for a moment, then begins combing the room in search of a untouched labcoat, carefully making his way through the gore in the room. "Hey, you aren't lucky enough to have a fresh lab coat over by you, do you? I want to find myself one..."

Vivian's eyes scan the room, still. Her gaze is drawn to the fire for a moment, watching it in the infrared, as it spews forth more and more heat. Is she in shock? "Whatever Team Bond said is of no consequence," she begins. She can feel her stubby legs and immediately tell they aren't meant for walking. Flexing a muscle that wasn't there before sees her rise lazily into the air. "We have to leave." Or whatever avatar of destruction swept through this room would be after them, next.
At the door, she catches herself wishing she had proper hands. Her new appendages are just not accurate enough in their range of movement to turn a knob. In the end, the door opens, and Vivian is surprised by it. Imagining herself doing things doesn't usually work. "Telekinesis," she mutters under her breath, but loud enough to be heard. Had she been turned into a pokémon like the others? She couldn't recognize this form, so alien. "We can talk while we walk." Or float, in her case.

As the other three talk, Moria closes her mouth and lowers her hand from her throat. She takes a deep breath, her eyes closed as she pinches herself, but only succeeds at poking herself with her fingerless hands. "This isn't real," she slowly murmurs. "This can't be real. How can it be real?" She takes another breath and shakes her head, looking disappointed in herself. "What am I doing?" she says as she looks at her reflection in a nearby puddle of blood. "This isn't the time or the place!"
Moria walks over to the table with her possessions, careful to avoid any blood on the floor as she adjusts to balancing without feet. Her bag, which once seemed so small to her, was now nearly as tall as her. She jumps onto the table and takes out a Poke Ball with a worn crayon swirl decorating the white half, pressing the release. A Spinda comes out, spinning around once before looking around in confusion and fear. "It's okay, Tilda," she says as she hugs the panda Pokemon nearly twice her height. "I'm right here." Tilda looks at her with a confused expression at first, but then grins and hugs her back. "I don't know what's going on Tilda, but we need to get out of here."
Moria straps the light backpack to Tilda, then she jumps from the table and begins to walk to the door, looking at the three humans/legendaries. "Sorry for not introducing myself on the ride here; I am Moria Delienza. I was the one who had the green cloak on the whole way."

As the four of you reintroduce yourselves, a light howl of wind comes from a hole in the wall nearby. After a second look, it's fairly obvious that the hole is where a door used to rest. Whatever did this tore the door off the hinges on the way in, judging on how it's lying at the far end of the room. Bearings obtained and panic subsiding, you all take in the room a bit better now. It's the only room in the entire building, a fairly small affair.
Everyone please roll a perception check to notice things that aren't glaringly obvious.

Christopher Cardinal made a Perception Check! | 5_brrzCJ2d6 |
Chris blinks at the baffling behavior of Callix. Who would be looking for a lab coat in all this... death. He shuddered again. "You can't just steal a lab coat! You'll get in trouble for it! They'll call security on you!" He really didn't want anyone to get into trouble over this. It would be silly. Chris grabs up his few belongings from the table and lets out Francine to make sure she was ok. The Skiddo seemed to be good. "It's ok girl, it's all ok." Chris pet her on the head and she let him, but she could clearly tell something was wrong with him. 2d6

Vivian Poplarmade a Perception Check! | otQm6Rww3d6 |
Vivian's figure casts shadows across the room as she wonders where her things have gotten off to. It takes her a little while to get full control of her mechanized arm back, in its altered state, but with a pre-defined movement she sends out an inaudible ping her bag should return with actual sound. It's a good thing she hadn't keyed that function to finger movements. She'd have to work all of those from the ground up now that she has much less than the standard five, and nothing approaching the number of joints. "Stick nearby. Don't leave any blind spots." She knows better than to expect people to listen to her, but she can at least plant the idea to watch out for danger in their minds. It's a bit of trouble to lift her bag, now that she has about a third of the muscle mass. She chooses to drag the bag behind her, strap over a shoulder but not across her chest. She needs to be able to drop it on a moment's notice. 3d6

Callix turns to look at Chris, a small smile forming on his face. "You do realize that they're dead, right? No one cares about people who no longer exist." He takes a moment, then leans down a picks up a lab coat from the floor. Perfect! Somehow, it had managed to remain untouched, exactly what he wanted! Once he was situated with the lab coat, he moves over to the table, collecting his things. He takes Kai's pokeball and releases the Croagunk into the room. All he needed was a simple nod and Kai was following behind. He slings his backpack over one shoulder and then sets the wrench over both of his shoulders, carrying it like he normally does. Then, he strides out the door after Vivian, humming as he goes, lab coat fluttering in the wind. "If the bag is hard to carry, you could always switch back to human. It's as easy as imagining yourself as human again. Otherwise..." He holds out his arm, clearly offering to take her bag for her. Perception! Spending an AP cause why the heck not. WUUW1hsd3d6+1 3d6+1

As the group looks around the room, Vivian and Callix notice something. Vivian sees a series of odd tubes connected to the pods, which she's SURE weren't they when they got in. It looks like they lead behind the pods, but from this angle whatever they're connected to is unviewable.
Callix, during his corpse-looting, notices a body hunched over a computer, nearly covering it. The screen flickers gently, indicating it still has power, and is even turned on! This may warrant some investigation... He also notices that the tail end of this labcoat appears to have been resting in a pool of blood, and is completely red.
Chris and Moira appear to be a bit too weirded out by the situation to see these small details just yet, but they do hear the wind picking back up. Is that a good or a bad sign?

Chris grimaces at that. He was trying not to think about all the dead people. "People don't stop existing just because they died..." It was true... wasn't it? Why else would people say they live on in your heart? Whatever, it didn't... really matter did it? "What happened to all these people? What happened to us" There was that sound... what was going on here?!?!

Vivian's instincts buzz against the back of her brain, or whatever that organ is now that she's no longer human. It has her on edge, as she walks over and starts following the tubes connected to the pods. She dreads what she'll find at the end of them, even though she has no clue what it'll be. To think they had performed some kind of injection...
In her distraction, she forgets she's a pokemon. It helps that she's at about eye-level to her original form, floating there. She imagines herself a human, and Callix's words bounce in her mind, reminding her about the sequence that's about to follow as she transforms.

Callix narrows his eyes at the glowing computer screen. Now what was this? He walks over to the computer and roughly shoves the body aside with his wrench before beginning to browse the information on the computer as best he can, keeping up the idle conversation as he does. "Something very angry happened. As for us... well, let me welcome you to the world of being a freak of nature. Congrats."

Moria stays close to Tilda, clearly comforted by the presence of her old friend despite the vast quantities of blood and bodies all over. "This reminds me of a horror film scene," she says to no one in particular. "Never thought I'd be living through one, though." Hearing the wind pick up, she looks around her, trying to figure out where it's coming from. "Did you hear that?"
