Charlie and Tamira were able to find the park easily enough with their P*DAs, the park was a farther in city than Prof.Seedling's lab, but the two soon found out they could use their Trainer IDs to take the busses that ran throughout the city.
When they reached the central park it's size was a bit surprising it was about as big as a city block, a large pond in the center various trees and flowers dotted around it. Near the pond was a large white stone that stood out among the various blues and greens that surrounded it.

Charlie will work with Speedy for the better part of an hour, helping him adjust to moving faster than normal, and getting to know how the mon worked even better. Once that was finished, he'll investigate the white stone.

The white stone looked very old, but suprising solid, on it was written some strange language and a plaque with the translation on it stood in front of it
"Let this Stone stand, to show the firmness of our new Republic, And while are city grows let this place go untouched to show we are better than the empire" followed by a small explanation
"Gildarie once an empire, was brought into being a Republic by a great revolution, this stone was once a part of the Imperial Palace (Which can be viewed in Tsoho) and was put here in the new capital Bishar as proof of their victory. This park, also known as Memorial Park, was created to ensure we always remembered to respect life no matter how small. It has stood as long as the city has existed"

Charlie raises a brow at the inscription. "Huh, neat." Looking back over at Tamira, he calls over. "Do you mind if I set out some bait? Might bring in something out of the ordinary."

The bait didn't seem to draw anything out, but nearby Tamira and Charlie could see an area roped off where the grass was much taller and unkept.

As soon as they got to the park, Tamira began training with Treecko. Specifically, they began doing some target practice. As they were practicing hitting things as accurate as possible while moving, Tamira noticed that Charlie was investigating the rock. Huh, wonder what's up with that. I'll have to ask him.
When Charlie asked about the bait, Tamira responded, "Yeah that sounds like a good plan. I should invest in some of that myself. Quick question though, what is up with the rock?"

Charlie looks rather disheartened at the lack of mon the bait calls in, murmuring to Tamira, though he keeps a respectful distance. "Apparently there's a castle in Tsoho that the old government, an Empire, was based out of before there was a revolution I guess, and the place became a republic. The whole place is a memorial to respect life, no matter how small, according to the plaque." Sighing as the bait dries up finally, he picks it up and throws it away. "Well, no dice with the bait. But at least it'll be cheaper to replace it here I guess. You want to check out the long grass instead?"

"Oh, interesting. It's a memorial. I was wondering what it was doing out here clearly out of place. And sure, long grass sounds good. A little disappointing that the bait didn't work though. You sure they sold you some working stuff?" Tamira asked, checking out the dried up bait he threw away. Nothing seemed to be wrong with it, but she wasn't a bait expert, so who knows.

"Sometimes there just aren't any mon that are in range of the scent. And yeah, I'm sure it was a good batch, I bought it at a Pokemart."
Smiling slightly, he'll make an "after-you" gesture to Tamira and follow her into the longer grass, keeping an eye out for any interesting mon.

After travelling through the grass the two of them were able to follow some traces led by some pokemon and found a Larvesta chasing a Cottonee around.

Charlie points at the Larvesta. "Dibs," he mutters, before releasing Slowpoke into the mix. The dopey-looking mon cocks his head to the side curiously, taking in the tableau. Speedy Initiative: 12 Charlie Initiative: 8

"Fine, I wanted the other one anyways," she said, as she reached into her bag and brought out a couple of Pokeballs. "Let's do this, Treecko." Treecko nodded it's head up and down twice, ready for battle. Treecko 13 Tamira 11

"Alright Treecko, this battle is going to be a little tough because of the fact that you are both grass-typed, but I know you can do it. Use quick attack!" Treecko rushed at the Cottonee and attempted to strike it. AC2 rolled 3:( 17 damage not that it matters.

"Keep up the pace, you can do it! Now a Yawn, put it to sleep!" Speedy flinches as the burned skin tugs painfully, the fire attack not having the bite it would have against other mon, and loosing a jaw-cracking yawn in the direction of the bug. Charlie continues to use Agility Orders Slowpoke uses Yawn, Larvesta falls asleep at the end of his next turn
