Hi, I'm fielding interest for a Battle Royale type of game, to be run mostly through PM and posted about on a thread in Open Roleplay. Essentially the players would be rookie trainers stranded on an island, given a map and a backpack with randomized pokemon/gear, and sent on their merry way defeating one another, catching pokemon, and (forcibly) exploring the island. The idea will be fleshed out more explicitly, pending interest. If only a handful of people are interested I'd be willing to try it with standard PTU rules, but if many are interested (which I think would be more fun) I'm more likely to homebrew a simpler, streamlined gameplay system before putting up a thread. That's all, thanks!

Signalling interest~
Not a lot of information yet, so not a lot of feedback I can give, but it sounds fun.
One thing is that for my first campaign I kinda wanna play a support-oriented class, and since 'mons are gonna be randomised that seems like a bad idea. But I guess combat characters is what you're looking for, given the source matierial haha.
So I'd love to play, provided I can get a handle on things in another game first/at the same time.

I am interested in this too, sounds like a lot of fun and chaos, just my type of game.

Thanks for expressing interest! Once I've written a more detailed outline of how the game will work, I'll post into the GMs searching for Players and tag you all.

Yes, interested here, too. But why mostly PM?

To make it more competitive/suspenseful. If everyone posts where they are/what they're doing, other people could follow/avoid each other accordingly. If everyone's randomly wandering, you never know who or what you're going to run into.
