The First Boat Over -> Arrival in Gildarie

Without missing a beat Sarah rushed forward and stood at the tip of the ship, feet on the handrailings and yelled, "I'M HERE TO BEAT ALL YOUR GYMS GILDARIE!"

She smirked loudly, and looked forward, she was ready. First a trip to the pokemon center, then to go challenge the gym.

Speedy was sticking close to Charlie's legs not sure how comfortable he was with Tamira or Sarah, as they got closer to port Prof.Seedling stepped out "Hello there you 3, I heard from the captain how you were able to subdue the leader of this little hijacking. It looks like we picked some very able participants. Now I'm sure you three have some plans for when we arrive, but I hope you'll stop by my lab first. There's still a few more things I need to give you and explain" he said.

"Sure I'll follow you to the lab. Don't really have much else going on anyways," Tamira said nonchalantly.

"Yes there is something I'd like to say...Thank you very much not just for aiding me, but for applying to go through this region. As you can see from the harbor, Gildarie has dropped out of favor abroad, but I believe with your help. We can show the League that Gildarie has come back from it's dark period and is better than ever. So from the Gildarie League and myself, Thank you very much for coming to Gildarie" he said bowing a bit as the ship pulled into the harbor.

"Now let's put this heaviness behind us and disembark, my lab is quite close to the harbor" he said.

Picking up Zuzu, she started her way to the lab as well.

As they walked Sarah was used to walking this kind of distance so she leasuirly examined her notes committing them to memory.

Taking her pokedex in hand Sarah nodded, "Thank you!"

She looked at it, this is what it meant to be a trainer, to be like Champions like Cynthia and Drake.

She looked at him, "So what else do you need to tell us?"

"Well first I need to explain the P*DA properly. It's a multifaceted tool with a number of features." he said pulling out a similiar gray tablelet.

"You've already seen the Messenger section, It will allow you to send message to anyone else with P*DA or access to a PC, you can also register other people as contacts. I've already been registered to your contacts, so please don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you need assitance" he said

"It also comes with an updated map of Gildarie." He said bring up the map as he pointed at Bashir "We're here right now Bashir, the capital of Gildarie, it's home to both our Normal Gym in the front streets and the Dark Gym in the backstreets" he said

"Your P*DA also holds your Trainer I.D., Which you'll be able to use in various places, like gyms or to access some public transportation" he said.

"It can also give you news alerts on the region" he said messing around with it a bit until a page came up with a few headlines, The most recent being "New Trainers Expected to arrive in Gildarie"

"However, special to Gildarie's P*DA is it's versatility. There are cards similiar to Pokegear cards which can, give new features to your P*DA, like this" he said holding up a Yellow chip that he inserted into his P*DA a new option appear on the screen called 'Banking'

"This is the Banking app, it allows you to automatically send some funds to a banking account assigned to your Trainer I.D. whenever you win in a battle. You can toggle this feature on and off as you wish." he said opening up the app which showed a Total and the option to toggle collection on and off. "It will also allow you to deposit and withdraw money in ATMs around the region" he said.

"Finally in connection with the banking card is this" he said holding up a blue card inserting it into his P*DA an app called Shopping appearing on it. "This is the Shopping App, it will allow you to purchase items online with your banked money. Than have that item delivered to a Pokemart nearby,It's rather convient" he said smiling, but than frowned abit

"Now as you know Gildarie has been going through some troubles and without Leauge support, it means things are a bit different. Pokecenters in region need to charge a fee. That fee is currently 800 Pyen, but there are ways to avoid this, with items like this" he said holding up a red and white ticket.

"These are healing tickets, they are given out whenever you reach a new town or face a gym. It's used to keep trainers from simply grinding away at their pokemon to level them up quicker than using the Pokecenters to heal them up quickly." he said.

"However you shouldn't worry about healing, items are actually much cheaper here right now because of the lack of taxes, you can buy most items 40% off what they would be in other regions at marts" he explained.

"For right now here" he said setting down 3 yellow Banking chips, 3 blue Shopping chips and 3 Heal Tickets "This should help you along for right now." he said.

"Now if you have any other questions please feel free to ask, I know the city very well, I can tell you where you can find the gyms or places where wild pokemon are known to be" he said looking at the 3 of them

"Sure just tap the city twice and it will bring up a map of the city, The normal gym should be pretty easy to find with this. It's right on main street, though finding the Dark gym may be a bit harder. Violet wouldn't let us put it on the map" he said looking over his pad. "Are you sure you want to face the gym right away though? Zuzu is your only pokemon" he pointed out, knowing they couldn't have caught another pokemon in the time he was down in the engine room.
