PLOT: Six years ago Team Galactic almost unmade the world. During that climactic battle an object of occult artifice known as the Red Chain shattered, it's fragments falling all over the region.
Over time these fragments have caused much havoc in Sinnoh. Pokemon exposed to them have mutated and evolved, in a gross mockery of Mega Evolution. Some of these mutant pokemon have gone on incredibly destructive rampages and others are slowly destroying Sinnoh's ecosystem. Clearly this state of affairs cannot be allowed to continue.
Professor Rowan, the leading expert in pokemon evolution, has chosen several team of experienced and trusted trainers to investigate the mutated pokemon, to recover as many fragments of the red chain and mutated pokemon for study as possibly and to ensure no other rampages reach a major city.
You are one of those teams.
PLAYERS: 3-4
CHARACTERS:
BANNED MATERIAL:
The State of Sinnoh:
The Pokemon League: Lily Mountain is home both to the administrative division of the Sinnoh Pokemon League and the Elite 4. The current Champion is Joey, son of Tower Tycoon Palmer and the one who defeated former Champion Dawn. As it stands the Elite 4 consists of Byron the Steel specialist, Aaron the Bug specialist, Volkner the Electric specialist and Flint the Fire specialist.
Sunnyshore City: Formerly home to Volkner's electric gym, the current Gym Leader is Lucas, who is officially a Fairy type specialiast and hands out the Mist badge. Unofficially he also has his team from the Mt Coronet fiasco available for those who wish to truly test themselves.
Veilstone City: Formerly home to Maylene's fighting gym and Team Galactic's headquarters, Veilstone City has seen many changes, most caused by the reformation of Saturn. Not only did he reform Team Galactic's science division into Dispatern Industries, but he became acommunity leader in large part because of his criticisms of Veilstone's reliance on gambling to overcome it's relative ugliness.
Saturn is now the Poison type gym leader, handing out the Evolution badge in Veilstone City, the region's second biggest tourist trap.
Pastoria City: Formerly home to Crasher Wake's gym, Pastoria's primary attraction remains the Great marsh, though the Contest Hall built in honour of Crasher Wake is a secondary feature.
Crasher Wake has admitted to retiring from being a Gym Leader so he can give his wrestling career the focus it deserves.
Solaceon Town: No notably public changes
Hearthome City: No notably public changes
Snowpoint City: No notably public changes
Eternia City: No notably public changes
Oreburgh City: No notably public changes
Jubilife City: No notably public changes
Canalave City: Formerly home to Byron the Steel type gym leader, Canalave City's gym is now lead by Maylene the Fighting type specialist. When asked about why she moved cities, maylene cited personal reasons.
Sandgem Town: No notably public changes
Seagarden City: A seaside resort trading on it's large variety of rare and exotic pokemon, along with it's high ratio of minor and harmless mutations common in wild pokemon have caused the newly built Seagarden to eclipse Hearthome City as Sinnoh's most popular tourist destination.
It is also home to the region's Water type gym, lead by newcomer Adrian, who hands out the Ocean badge to those that defeat him.
Twinleaf Town: No notably public changes
