Kaeda glares at the receptionist, and folds her arms. "Lia Regal. Where is she?" Kaeda's voice is low, and dangerous. "She was coming here yesterday, and she didn't show up at home. This company isn't exactly what it wants people to believe it is. It's up to morally messed up stuff, and Ms. Regal was looking into it. Start talking."

The receptionist's false smile turns into a neutral expression. "I'm afraid I have no idea what you're talking about, ma'am. I have no record of any appointments from a 'Lia Regal'. Additionally, I don't know what you mean by 'morally messed up stuff'. I'm just a receptionist. I'm sorry to hear that your friend has gone missing; assuming that's why you're here."

As Kaeda brushes against the woman's mind, she is met with a harsh glare. "Ma'am. I'm going to have to politely ask you to stop trying to read my mind. I may not be able to keep you out, but I've been trained to recognize when someone is attempting it. If you want to ask a question, then ask. It's rude to enter people's minds without permission."
Despite her words, Kaeda does get a brief glimpse at her surface thoughts just prior to her discovery. These thoughts are mostly concerning how rude and confrontational Kaeda is, but also wondering why someone who is seemingly missing a friend would come here of all places.

Kaeda clicks her tongue. "I'm not leaving here until I get some answers!" Putting someone who doesn't know anything upfront isn't going to stop Kaeda now. "Whoever's in charge, I need to speak with them right now. We have hard evidence against this company, so someone better get out here before I start leaking out info to the media."

The woman merely stares Kaeda down, looking quite annoyed. "Yes, I think I understand now." Some security personnel begin to approach at a measured pace. "These men will escort you to your appointment with the door now. Have a nice day."

Kaeda growls, looks around, takes in the layout of room, and turns to leave. "Fine!" She walks out past Floyd, chews on her nail, and paces back and forth outside.

Floyd silently watches Kaeda and the receptionist square off, grimacing slightly as Kaeda eventually storms out. He looks at the receptionist, debating offering her an apology before turning and following Kaeda out of the door.
"Okay, now what? Go get Celestyna and help her get in touch with her old colleagues in the hope that they've been sitting on a method to track hybrid creation? Ask about her at the gym in case this is her terrible way of surprising you with a week's holiday? Tell the police in case they've somehow become competent since the fairy incident?"

"All of it! Just do all of it! Fuck! Just find her! I'll go to the police between here, and Cerulean!" Kaeda is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. She hops back on her dragon, and zips around back and forth where Lia could have traveled to find some clue of where she went.

Floyd silently punches a nearby wall in frustration, leaving a noticeable dent before hopping on the train to Cerulean city, planning to double check Lia's status at the gym before finding Celestyna at the ranch.

Floyd finds that Lia has not been into work today, but the Gym also only recently re-opened, so some people might have difficulty getting back into their work schedules. Aleisandra is concerned by Floyd's question though. Is Lia not at their group ranch?

Floyd explains that she never returned to the ranch the night before and that he and Kaeda are looking for her, leaving out anything about the criminal conspiracy or the hybrids.

Aleisandra grows more concerned, and suggests that if they haven't done so already, they should file a missing person report with the police. They may not be the most competent of people, but the more eyes out there looking for her, the better it will be in the long run.

After a multi-hour slog of questions (mostly because Floyd barely makes any effort to be descriptive) concerning Lia's personality, her physical description, and other barely-related things, Floyd's missing persons report is finally made official. The Cerulean Police Department will circulate Lia's description and ask all officers to be on the lookout for anyone matching her description.

Kaeda finally sets down when she can't find anything related to Lia. She takes out her phone to text Floyd about her lack of success, and her plans for later.
"Floyd, there has to be info on where they have Lia in that building. She might even be in there! I'm using my pokemon to break in after hours. Orpheus teleporting us in should work. You in?"

After finishing with the police Floyd heads back to the ranch, intending to find Celestyna and explain everything thats happened. He frowns at Kaeda's text before responding.
I'm not letting you try this alone, so yes. I'll ask Celestyna if she thinks her knowledge would help at all.

"Fine. I'll meet back up with you at the ranch." Kaeda sighs heavily, and hops back onto her dragon to head back home. Hopefully Celestyna could help, or actually feel obligated to help find Lia since they were providing her with lodging. Once back home, she waits for Floyd to arrive before confronting Celestyna.
