Lia is shocked at first, but then looks thoughtful. She scoots closer and puts an arm around Kaeda. She mentally locks away the thought, as it gives her an idea for later. Maybe. She puts a hand softly on Kaeda's leg and just looks at her and smiles warmly.

Kaeda blushes deeply as Lia gets nice and close. She looks at her, and smiles back. "Hey there. I love you."

She pulls her plate over so she can finish her own stuff but now close to her girlfriend.
"I don't know if I would have... in any way... asked you then and there. Being fully honest I didn't even consider romance or intimate things at all, with anyone, before the tricksy gas or whatever it was in Celadon. I mean I guess my subconscious did, but I only remember that dream NOW so I don't think it counts."
She idly pokes at her food, not wanting to interrupt her thought.
"But it's... nice. To think you were open to me even then. Even with all the shit I said when we met and then what I did. (Hope nobody took pictures, that view is mine now...)"

Kaeda rests her head on Lia's shoulder. "Yeah. I guess me too. You saw hard it was back in Celadon to confess. The whole romance part of it didn't really occur till our battle on the ranch, but still...I'm so happy, despite all of that, here we are." Kaeda gives Lia a big smooch on the cheek.

Lia then leads Kaeda to a gourmet chocolate shop. She should have ALL sorts of choices here.
"Here! My first thought was ice cream but that's what everyone does. And there's tons of options here."
