Watching the floor carefully as she makes another attempt, Kaeda is able to discern that it's not that she's not moving, it's that the floor is. Hard to tell how much though. (Perception)

The suspicious moving floor is revealed to be a conveyor belt that has been painted to look like the rest of the flooring in the hall. However, there is a small, narrow strip of real floor right on the edge of either side of the hall. The width of the hall is just enough that you'd have to pick a side and shimmy along the wall to avoid the conveyor.

It takes some work, but Kaeda eventually makes it to the far end... only to discover they've deceived her again! It's not a door at all, but a very elaborate painting of a door, like you'd see in old cartoons on tv. Except this is real life, so there is no magical, physics defying doorway there for just the main character.

Aha! The hallway ceiling, right near the fake door has a trapdoor. There is a small rope hanging from its handle, but you'd need to jump for it. (Acro or ath, whichever is higher)

Kaeda manages to not only easily jump up and snatch the rope, but also hold on long enough for the heavy door to come loose and open up, dumping her unceremoniously to the floor. With a grumble, she climbs her way up into the crawlspace above. It's quite small, being only just big enough to fit an average-sized person in there.

The crawlspace grows narrower until Kaeda can barely squeeze through. Just as she fears she might get stuck, it suddenly opens up and she tumbles down a wide shaft, somehow not hitting her head on the way down.

After a few seconds, she falls into water with a loud splash. When Kaeda comes up sputtering, she sees several grinning women in bikinis looking at her. The water is surprisingly warm, like a hot tub or Jacuzzi.
"What's up, Buttercup? Have a nice swim?" asks the buxom Gym Leader.1d2

Kaeda flings her wet hair back, and scowls at the leader. "I can see now how these annoying little games you play could drive someone to use a hyper beam wielding magikarp to try to burn this place to the ground. First you're not here like a proper leader, and then you steal people's clothes to put them into escape rooms. A simple battle would be nice."

There are other, Independent Gyms that count for partial Badges towards the League Requirements. Of course, finding them is a hassle. Let alone getting them to fight you. At least I'll fight you (eventually) if you put up with my shenanigans." She taps her manicured finger against her chin. "Hmmm. Now, remind me: Did you manage to beat one of the gym trainers last time or not? I'm sure I've seen you here before without your gf... or was it with her but only you fought? I can't remember."

A red-haired woman (who looks strangely like Floyd in a way) waves at you in acknowledgement. "These other ladies you see here are mostly just helpers. We got Anna, the 'Trap Master', and Brianne the 'Trick Master'. Yes, like the famous one from Hoenn, but no relation." A brunette and another blonde wave as their names are mentioned.
