Kaeda waves off the offer. "No thanks. I think we can find something better. Let's keep on searching." Kaeda continues by the side of Hermes and Lia. She gives the mount a nice scratch behind the ears, and a happy bleat is given.

Lia blinks a few times in confusion.
"Umm am I looking at some sort of strange mirror right now or have I gotten too much sun?"
Then she seems to realize what's happening.
"Oh snap are those Dittos? Detour!"
With that, Lia starts getting Hermes to trot over.

The whole place is very surreal. The "clones" mimic your every movement. Some even (sort of) mimic things you say.

Lia tries the whole cartoonish 'mirror' trick to test with waves of her arms and such, mostly to her own amusement. She turns back.
"Hey Kaeda look, it's like one of my dreams about you. Where there's more than I could ever want."
She laughs and waggles her eyebrows at her. She then looks to Eve.
"Hey so are you interested in them at all? At the very least I'm sure someone would want a Ditto that you could bag an Eevee from. And hey, maybe you could have it transform into one and see if poking with stones would do anything."
Lia shrugs.
"At the very least, I think Ditto are awesome so I want one. Imma try something."
Lia dismounts and tries moving up to one of her clones.

Lia's statement confused Eve, but she said nothing. It didn't feel like the right time to argue, and... besides. It was nice to start bonding even though Eve... well... yeah. More importantaly! Dittos!
"Hmmm..." Eve stood in the back, thinking. "If all of these Dittos used Judgment at the same time... Can the Ditto use Judgment? Or are they limited to Hyper Beam? I guess, actually, the most reliable way would have been to bring in Letty and pull off a simultaneous Light of Ruin..." Eve, no. NO.
Regardless of what she should not definitely be thinking of trying to do, Eve continued to mumble and mutter to herself over the many possibilities of Ditto, be they related to booms or DNA. Ditto would make an interesting observation subject. Regardless to say, Eve was interested in them enough to try catching some. She just, first, needed to get her head down from the scientific clouds.

Well at least Eve seems interested. Meanwhile, Lia has moved real close to her clone. She holds out one hand to the clones face, and boops it on the nose! And when the clone does the same, Lia smacks it with a pokeball in the head it wouldn't have been able to see! Pokeball vs Ditto

These same words echo throughout the area as all the other Clias mimic the action. Of course, the few who actually get the words right and don't just say "Ditto!" still sound squeaky.

Kaeda is initally suprised to see the clones. she also giggles at Lia's remark. While ditto are pretty interesting, she'll pass, and let the others do their thing. When Lia returns with "herself," Kaeda pats her on the shoulder. "Good job, babe. I wouldn't mind having more of you around either."

"That sounds like a great prank, though~" Eve returns to talking normally, no longer muttering her thoughts to herself. She gets in a good stretch and then walks into the field of dittos herself. Let's see, a fight was too risky and she sure as hell wouldn't be able to do sneaky. Instead she tried to win the dittos over as friends. "Hey! Hey! Do any of you like big booms? Or Eevees? Because I can do lots of both!". To prove her words, at least with the Eevee part, Eve releases her five Eeveelutions: Vee, Dia, Ceru, Lea, and Ven.

All the nearby clones become clones of the various eeveelutions and a few extra Eves. The Eves all just mimic her words or shout "Ditto!" in the attempt.

Lia is a bit confused and feels like she missed something as Eve headed over. Once all the dittos change to Eevees and Eeveelutions, Lia shouts back.
"Now start throwing stones at them! FOR SCIENCE!"

So... the Dittos mimicked her, huh? In that case... Eve turned around and shouted back at Lia, "Actually, I have a better science experiment~ Vee! Copycat me!" With that, Eve recklessly fired a Hyper Beam up into the air. Not long after, Vee copied Eve and fired a Hyper Beam into the air.

All the Eve-Clones fire Hyper Beams into the air! The Vee Clones... do not, as they don't seem to understand the need to use Copycat first in order to obtain Hyper Beam. This causes them to just throw their heads back and perform the motions with no effect.
