Adventure Thread - Group A

Kaeda crosses her arms, and looks back to the water. "Oh I'm sure she'll be fine. I'm prepared to dive in with a small fleet of water pokemon should things turn sour..." Kaeda pauses, and then bends down to knock on the wooden floorboards.

Los tears off down the tunnel, weaving back and forth to avoid crashing into walls. After several minutes of this, the tunnel begins to narrow. From this point forward, it will no longer accommodate Lia's scuba gear or Los' bulk. However, Los is practically in a frenzy, which means the stone must be close. It looks like the tunnel ends in a small room just a few dozen feet further along.

Shining a light in there reveals something that terrifies the poor little piplup: the skeletal remains of something sitting at the base of a pedestal. What's even more terrifying is when the remains begin to move and piece themselves back together! They form into the shape of a Sharpedo, and it seems as though there is something embedded into its head. It's hard to tell from this distance, but it looks like a small stone...oh no. It's a Sharpedonite. It's a freaking skeletal Mega Sharpedo! AHHHHH! SWIM AWAY, KARZEL, SWIM AWAY!

Lia pauses as Los (and her opponent) both go down at the same time. Seems they took each other out. She did know that Los has that one move to do that and seeing that it was a sharpedo they were facing... Lia supposes it only makes sense it knows it too. She carefully makes her way over, recalling Los. She leans down and picks up the stone.

Stone. Get.

She carefully places it, pats Karzel on the head, and begins to head back. A thought stops her though, and she looks back. She takes the top part of the things skull with her, an idea forming in her head. The two of them make their way back to the entrance. Lia repeats the process she did getting in. Pack off, step through, pull pack through, pack back on. Once outside though, she sets the skull down, looking out into the ocean.

I know you were stuck in there for a loooong time, but at least now you'll have something to look at. And...

Lia leans down and carefully removes one of the bony teeth.

And a little bit of you will come with. Los will get some serious damage in with that thing. And you'll be near it, at least in part.

She makes sure Karzel is holding on tight as she walks back over to the rope and begins ascending. After a while, she reaches the boat, and sweet sweet air again. She pulls her self over the side, and steps in front of the group. She tears the goggles and breather off, and looks to the others.

"You all may bow before your conquering queen!"

Lia pulls the stone out to show off.

Kaeda applauds, runs over, and smothers her girlfriend in kisses and hugs. "You did it, babe! How did it go? Did anything happen?"

Floyd turns around, only to be hit in his face with a blast of water from the smug turtle.

"Yes, we will get right on that." He says, ignoring the water dripping off of his face.

Lia, slightly drying in her scuba suit from the sun, nods in Floyds direction before scooping up Kaeda on her shoulder and heading to abscond off with her somewhere.

"We'll leave you to it, bro. And I'll jump in to help you if you need it. I've personally had a little too much excitement for today."

Floyd waves to Kaeda as Lia pulls her away before turning to Eve.

"Believe me, Calyx is much easier to handle than my sister." He says with a smile. "Though that may not last too much longer."

Lia wakes up and stretches for the day, and does some mild training with her team. After that, she's looking out over the sea, her new mega stone in-hand. Los is healed up by now, but Lia's wondering if she should try the stone today or wait till they get back to the mainland. After all, if Mega-evolving for the first time is as was described... having Los in the open water might not help.
