After two glorious defeats, Keada had gotten her 3rd gym badge. She found a small quite spot by the water, and took out the badge to look at it. She held it up in front of her, and she could only frown. In fights that mattered to her, she had only one one battle in the past few days. Losses to her teammates, and two straight losses against the gym leader really weighed down on Kaeda. She certainly felt stronger since the encounters at the Rock Tunnel, and Lavender Town. She wanted to head into some dangerous Fairy World, and even get a mega stone of her own. But, she was gonna do all this after getting her ass kicked, and getting what felt like a pity badge. She had an urge to just toss it into the waters of Vermilion, but she tossed it into the bottom of her bag, and sighed. Ughhhhh.....This sucks.... She was in a slump for sure. She pondered what she could do to improve, but nothing really came to mind. It now seemed that she had taken on the burden of being the group's "weak link." She didn't think she would lose that hard to her friends, and even cost Vince and herself the rematch. She could also feel that her pokemon had their own confidence rocked. She could only grumble, and stare out at the ocean until her friends were done with their challenge.

Lia walks around the outskirts, killing time until she had to take off on Avitus to head to her last work day. She eyes her new badge, considering commissioning someone to make a belt for her eight badges. That'd be cool. As she walks, she spies Kaeda sitting near the water. She walks over behind the girl, and speaks up.
"You know Keada, if we were still in 'kill eachother' mode, if I saw you sitting here I'd just take my foot and push you into the water."
Lia laughs, and sits next to her.
"...Sup?"

Kaeda sighs, blows some hair out of her face. "It's been a rough few days. Losses to you guys, and blowing my gym challenges. I think I even have a loosing percentage against random people I go out to battle." She rubs the back of her neck. "Full contact...multiple opponents...I'm just getting destroyed out there...Even my pokemon are pretty shaken up confidence wise." She sighs again, and rubs her face. "I got the badge regardless, but I don't feel good about it...I changed up my tactics to be a better synergy with my pokemon, but if I get jumped it might as well be over. It's just been frustrating."

"Ohhh trust me, I know how you feel. As I was feeling it till all of our fights last week. I still lose to randos, and was feeling the 'exact' same way as you. I had to change my strategy to get over that."
Lia looks out into the water.
"I think we need to work on you. Your pokemon do good, but you as yourself Kaeda... Well you go down pretty easy. You need to do something to either be in battle longer, or make better use of your time there. Both, if you can. My suggestion is to save up some money. There's items that can help with that shit. See example."
Lia rings the little shell bell on her neck.
"I friggin love this thing. But there's items you can use, even stuff like pester balls to toss. There's always something you can do in that regard. Can help your weird mind powers out."

Kaeda rubs her temples. "Pfft...I spent what little money I had left to buy items to protect my pokemon from moves they never got hit by...Ugh. If I just couldn't get touched I could win most every time." She grabs a rock, and hurls it into the water like she would throw a curve ball. "Stupid contact rules..."

"Well you got the badge, and most gyms do not force you to do those contact rules. So you won't really need to worry about it till the other gym that forces it or the Elite Four. So you got time. But until then I can help you raise the funds, if you need."

"I appreciate it, but I need to work for it myself. My pokemon, and I need to get back together. We'll work it out, hopefully. I do plan on avoiding contact as much as possible. Believe me." She gets up, and wipes off her skirt. "I'm heading to the center to check on my pokemon." She holds out her hand. "Wanna come along?"

"Sure, I gotta get Avitus out to fly back to Cerulean for work tomorrow. Also gonna ask my boss and see if she knows what bottomless oceanianic pit I gotta find Los' Mega Stone in."

She helps up Lia. "Hm. I'll actually need to be heading back to Cerulean as well. That was where we got the biggest reading of, and possibly the entrance to the Fairy World. I believe that is where I'll find a mega stone for a Gardevoir. Settling business there should also help Orpheus with her urges of following calls."

Lia wakes up at the ranch, having flown there the night before. She switches around her team to mostly waters for work, and heads to the Gym. When she gets there, she goes lookin for the boss.
She's got Los-related questions for her.
Please don't be at the bottom of a trench or soemthing, that'd be dumb. I'd take the freaking fairy world over that.

Kaeda makes sure to tell Vince that she is on her way back to Cerulean. She needs to hit the ranch and mix her team up a bit. In the morning when she wakes up, she spends some quality time with her pokemon, chooses her team, and gets some training done. For now, until Vince is ready to go, she just bides her time by hanging out with her pokes. "So Vincent and Kaeda said they came to talk to you about Mega Evolutions, and that the Mega Item has to be ordered from the League? So I'd like to ask if you can do that for me, but I think you might know where the specific pokemon part is. I haven't used her here in a bit, cause she's maybe a bit too strong to use unless a stronger somebody comes by, but Los evolved into a Sharpedo. Considering you had to at least find one for your Blastoise, and it's still in the type ballpark for you, I thought you might have insight."
