Lia stops and her expression basically turns into a visible '!' as she spies the leather clad woman.
"Oh. Ohhhhhh please be the bad one. PLEASE BE THE BAD ONE."
With an almost sadistic grin, she races off without a word to Kaeda.

"Gah! Lia! Sorry. I must been blinded by light shining off your massive fore-! H-Hey! Where are you going!?" Clearly not done yelling, she chases after her. She then stops as they come up to a red-haired woman. Kaeda raises an eyebrow as Lia seems really transfixed on her.

Floyd smiles and thanks the worker, filing the paperwork quickly. Once that's done he picks up Alisa and helps her perch on his shoulder as he goes looking for a fight.

As Lia draws closer, she notices that this woman's hair is braided differently than the Leader Alei's girlfriend.. and her outfit is a smidge more revealing. Hearing someone rushing towards her, the woman whirls around, a dagger in each hand.
"Oh. It's you again." She looks slightly annoyed, then smirks as she spots Kaeda. "And who is this? Your girlfriend?"

Lia begins fuming. And if she heard the girlfriend comment, she doesn't act like it.
"I don't know how someone like you is allowed to walk around on their own. Don't think I forgot how you assaulted Vincent earlier, or tried to 'toll' us. Hell, what are you even doing here? Taking a break from attacking tired trainers in your little 'traps'? I mean I guess a woman like yourself might feel home here, with your 'too spoopy' edgelord getup."

Kaeda scoffs. "She wishes." She looks at Lia as she makes her remarks. Apparently the others have some history with this woman. Interesting. She looks back at the woman and smirks. "My my...You don't sound like the most popular person...Of course with a look like that, I wouldn't have anything nice to say either! Hehe."

Lia was 'about' to snap back about not really using much effort to insult her, the woman not being worth it enough to do so, but Lia just straight up called her a whore. Lia snorts and laughs fairly hard, half-stunned.

She stops laughing abruptly, and her expression darkens. Talk about flipping a switch! "Besides that, it's snobbish, holier-than-thou types like you that I hate; but I'm feeling generous today. Lia finally snaps up, wondering if Kaeda really did just try and defend her. Kinda.
And at the mention of the Ariados.
"Oh you mean the bug I squashed? I can do that again IF YOUD LIKE!"
And then Lia had a moment of clarity, and vowed to become non-violent- Oh wait. Wrong script. Lets see here... Yeah. Yeah Lia is already going to punch her. That sounds more like it.

If Kaeda had stronger psychic powers, she would have turned this chicks brain into a fried egg. Kaeda then scoffs, tosses her hair over her shoulder, and pulls out one of her pokeballs. "Decision: Made."

Vincent handles all the adoption stuff and then heads out with his new Pokemon in tow. He explains to them that they're a little too weak to use in battles right now and that they're going to focus on training. The Dunsparce though seemed a little uncomfortable with the idea of fighting, or perhaps she just looked uncomfortable with everything in general. Either way, Vincent left her at the ranch to make friends for now. He'd train them together with his main team starting tomorrow morning.
With that business handled, Vincent, new Scraggy in tow, went off to find a battle.

Vincent politely thanked his opponent for the battle and went off to heal his Pokemon. After doing that, he heads in the direction of the Pokemon Tower, looking for more Trainers to battle.

Kaeda nearly passes out herself as the last of the enemy falls. She drops to her knees, and looks over at that bitch's very important item. "She had tons of weird pokemon...and...."Mega evolve?" That thing she has must be connected...I'm gonna take a look at that..." Kaeda tries to get to her feet, but is held down by somebody very roughly. She throws as much of a fit as she can in her weakened state.
In the local jail, irate that she herself, Kaeda Starwood, would be arrested, and have her precious pokemon taken. She constantly yells, and insults nobody in the quite cell. She needed to call her parents to have this place demolished, and acquire 1000pYen. Her knuckles are turning white as she grips the iron bars, but soon is let out thanks to Floyd. After a quick thanks, she got her pokemon back, and began to make up for lost time with them. She decided to follow Floyd's line of thinking and do some training nearby.

Lia's first thought after waking up in holding was very simple.
This sucks.
She just stood nearly motionless for the day, mostly just resting. At the very least Kaeda's screeching helped calm her nerves. But too much time brought uncomfortable thoughts. Let's go in the sequence of events, shall we?
Lia thought about how she just wanted a chance to beat Spoopy Ariados lady to a pulp herself. That she wanted to prove SOMETHING. And then Kaeda got involved. Because of course the day couldn't go right.
She thought about the fact that the fight went one-sided almost immediately, with Lia herself becoming the target of nearly every trick she and her pokemon had access to. Which basically made her useless for a long time in that bout.
About how Floyd and Vincent just 'happened' to waltz in like the typical hero to 'save' the day. And then as soon as they were in, Lia was basically ignored, left stuck off to the side, and she didn't even get a crack at Valisilwen. Vincent's stupidly strong pokemon basically having targets on their back displaying their importance and taking the hits of most of the fight. And she tried to fight her way through the battle just to get a single punch in, and just fell to burns suffered by the fire bug that wasn't paying attention to her. That she could barely hurt.
And how all them being held now and their fines are basically her fault for attacking the woman outright before finding an appropriate area. And now she's got to explain to the boss AGAIN about how she missed work cause of how fucked up her life is. Great. And how her pokemon, even the newbies, were all kept from her. And she'd have to explain just how much of a failure she was to them.
Most of all, she thought about just how ANGRY she was at all of this. Angry at murder lady, at her 'friends', at fucking Kanto itself. She needed space. She needed to think. Something had to change.

When the time was up, Lia paid her fine, and got the hell out of there, heading back to Cerulean without a single utterance to the others. She had nothing to say to them anyway. She spent the day walking and finally stopping at the center for the night, not wishing to face the Boss or her pokemon today.

Vincent was at first incredulous that he was being arrested. After giving it some thought and being explained the charges, he understood and allowed himself to be taken away quietly without much fuss. Vincent was still a little surprised though, he'd been dead sure that Valisilwen would have been the instigator of the fight and not Lia and Kaeda, though he could certainly understand Lia's desire to fight the woman again.
Vincent was quiet as he sat in his cell. He'd never imagined that he'd be sitting in one of these. All Vincent really hoped was that the event wasn't big news. Surely they couldn't be the only ones to have cause this kind of trouble inside a city? Because if he was going to be Champion someday, he'd need as spotless a record as he could have, in order to stop people from questioning his legitimacy and right to rule. Perhaps this wasn't even such a bad thing? It could be spun in such a way to describe the strength of the group's Pokemon as being so overwhelming that a fight between them and another powerful enemy would lead to collateral damage. Vincent smiled briefly. I can work with that.
Having cheered himself up, Vincent soon paid his bail and was let out of the jail cell. He proceeded to get to the Pokemon Center and collect his Pokemon. He spent the day training as he always did, though he gave them only a light workout to make up for having caused their separation. He also gave them a few more treats than usual and praised them more. His Pokemon were surprised but very accepting. The rest of the day would be spent quietly in the Pokemon Center. Vincent had no desire to capitalize on some temporary notoriety, he'd rather lay low for a bit.
