Blinking the seeds from his eyes, Floyd attacks Whimsicott with his axe, as Telum tries to paralyze Ariados again. Floyd attacks Whimsicott with Backswing, activating Champion of Steel to make it a Steel attack. On a 16+ Floyds defense will raise 1 stage. He also spends 1 AP to get +1 accuracy.

Ariados is again paralyzed, but this time is without a quick solution to it. It chitters angrily at the magnemite, but keeps its eyes focused on Vince. Whimsicott easily glides out of the way of Floyd's swing.
Whimsicott unleashes a gust of sparkling wind at Vince.

The ghost Charmeleon suspects that this loud trainer may be an issue for Ariados if she is continuously ignored, so instead of only focusing on the Sandile's Trainer, it decides to hit everyone. It conjures a rather large vortex in the center of the small cavern, overtop of Ariados, which protects it. Whimsicott is immune, so no danger there.

The twister knocks Lia sideways and straight to unconsciousness. Her injuries start to show as blood begins to trickle from her mouth.

Vincent who had been badly cut up by that surprisingly sharp Fairy Wind was now hurt even further by the Twister as a random small rock smashed into his side. He quickly fell unconscious.
Vel glared at the Ariados, angry that it hadn't been hurt by that Twister attack like almost everyone else. He proceeded to follow the lead of the only Trainer left standing and, body ablaze with dark energy, gave the Ariados a good slam with his tail. He could think and attack better when he didn't have to target the Whimsicott, although that particular Pokemon was also on his hit list after what she did to his Trainer. Vel could never resist attacking the weak link anyway, that was a trait he'd gained from his master.

Assurance on Ariados (DB14 as Lia hit Ariados this round)

The partially paralyzed Ariados crumples under Vel's blow. The Charmeleon looks rather surprised that Vel survived its Twister. Whimsicott twirls around distractingly.

Vel was blasted into unconsciousness by the Fairy Wind. At Vincent's belt, a Pokeball shook until a Zorua released herself. She glared at the offending Pokemon that took out her Trainer and what was something of a big brother figure to her.
Calypso growled, and rushed the Whimsicott trying to rake her claws across it multiple times.
