Scier knows that the spider can't be allowed to do any of its nasty web tricks or it would eat them all! So she floats up a couple meters in the air to be level with the Ariados, and begins ringing her bell in an annoying manner. Chinging here, chinging there, and when she has the spiders attention, merely sticking her tongue out in an obvious taunt manner. Taunt vs Ariados

The trainer gets smacked yet again, but proves fairly hardy. Ariados is hit by Thunder Wave, only to be cured moments later when it consumes a berry of some kind.
"Tsk. Whimsicott, Spectre, get out here and help! I need you to distract these trainers. Leech Seed on the kid with the Axe, and use Confuse Ray on the other guy. Ariados, drop down onto the girl and Poison Jab!"

The trainer sends out a Whimsicott from a Poke Ball, while what looks like a ghostly Charmeleon emerges from the shadows nearby.

Floyd responds to the blinding cloud of seeds by pulling back his axe and attacking with the haft. Floyd uses Bullet Punch as apriority vs WHimsicott.
He spends 1 AP to increase accuracy by 1 and if he hits WHimsicott loses an extra tick of HP due to Steelheart.

Lia flip kicks Ariados in its stupid face. It didn't like that. Next, the ghostly Charmeleon creates an orb of light and sets it spinning around Vince's head. It then sends a terrifying look Scier's way. (Frighten Ability: -2 Speed CS.)

Huh, is all Vincent can think before his thoughts become muddled. Suddenly it's hard to think of his next action. He retains enough presence of mind however, to command Machiavelli. "Vel, Bite into Assurance. Down this Trainer." The command comes out a little slurred, but Machiavelli understands perfectly. Vel rushes forward, body flaring with dark energy. He tries to bite the trainer once and then spins around to slam her with his tail. Bite

Scier sees the spider drop down on Lia, who takes a heavy blow but manages to roll into it to migitate it. (Will do that later) Clearly angry her master is getting attacked and her distraction having failed. She floats down and blasts the spider! Confusion vs Ariados

The Trainer decides to mess with Vince's head some more.

Ariados skitters back up the wall and across to its trainer, dropping down between her and Vel. It jabs at Vel with its head stinger.

Vincent said nothing even as Vel got jabbed by the Ariados' horn. His focus was entirely on the Trainer. With great sudden precision he performed a feint, then delivered another blow to her.
