Lia gives a wave to Vincent, and looks to her pokemon.
"We about done guys, take five."
She looks back up at the Dark Expert.
"Thought I was the only one doing training at this hour. Nice to see I'm wrong. You seen the Axe man about?"

"Not yet no, he'll show up sooner or later I suppose," Vincent said. "And I always try to train as early as possible. Gives me more time to do things during the day. So, do you have any plans for what you're going to do today?"

"Maybe catch a few things... then dominate the gym. Ultimate goal for the day. But wasn't there the group suggestion earlier?"

As the last to rise, Floyd trains his team as fast as possible, so he doesn't delay his companions. All Floyd's pokemon are now Focused and received experience training. Telum is now lv 17 and has had the Steel Ace feature used to grant him the Unbreakable ability. "Good morning everyone." He says after spotting Lia and Vincent and approaching the two. "Are there any tasks we should seek to achieve today?"

"Ah, yes, I almost forgot about that," Vincent said, although he clearly had forgotten. "It was very undefined though, a challenge... I wonder what we're going to find."
Vincent was then surprised by Floyd arriving. "Hello Floyd, Lia is catching some Pokemon before tackling the gym. I suppose you might want to do the same thing? As for me... I'm probably going to catch a Pokemon or two as well, or battle some Trainers. Not sure what else I really have left to do in this place."

"I may as well." Floyd says with a glance at the three occupied balls on his belt. "Though I fear steel type pokemon will be rare in this locale, the worst outcome is that we engage in another battle. Where shall we seek pokemon."

"Well, if you're looking for Steel-types, I just caught a strong Mawile yesterday on Mt. Moon. I think it's probably the best place to find Steel-types around here."

"I had thought as much, though I have not yet been able to make my way to the Mountain itself." Floyd says. "It is where I would most prefer to search, though I am amenable to other locations if either of your needs are greater."

"Well we were headed there before the Growlithe pack attack. We kinda got distracted."

Floyd nods and frowns when something occurs to him. "Speaking of distractions, I have not yet challenged the local gym. Perhaps it would be best if we made our way east in the afternoon, after handling any business we may have in the city?"

Vincent nodded, "That's fine by me, I've been meaning to give the city a good combing through for a Pokemon I'm interested in. A Murkrow by the way. I guess we'll be splitting up now then. I'll see the two of you later!" And with that, Vincent was off, lost in the idea of finding a Murkrow for his dream team. He felt a little guilty about preferring the Pokemon to some that were already on his team, but in the end, he couldn't really fault himself for liking what he did. It wasn't like he was guaranteed to find a Murkrow anyway, though he would certainly try his best to find one.

"Good luck then." Floyd says to Vincent's back. "And to you Lia. May you finally find the victory you seek." He turns and makes his way to the gym.

"Alright, you two go do your thing, and good luck on both accounts. I'll... oh they're gone already."
Lia turns in place a bit.
You know what, I need a clear trainer win, is what I need. Lets see if I can find anybody in the city.
Lia heads off to stumble into danger a challenge.

As she finishes reading the message, she places her dex down and her fingers go right back up to her temple.
"Really? 'Give' the badg- You know what. Not dealing with this right now."
She turns back over in bed to get some more sleep and deal with everything in the morning.

Vincent took Heresa off the team so that his new Emolga could join, at least for a while. It'd been rather exhausting, trying to teach and train the Vullaby from such a low level of strength to being any where near at least Vex in strength, so this was something of a break for him. "Now we need a name for you, my friend... how about Amp? Short for Ampere?" The Emolga squeaked happily. "I'll take that as a yes," Vincent said smiling. He wasn't done searching for Pokemon just yet though, and so he continued his walk around the city, with Amp mostly perching on his head. Wild Encounter: vNhWqkc51d100Vincent returned from his search, not having found his original quarry, but jubilant all the same. He'd found an Umbreon! Vincent almost couldn't believe it, save for the evidence on his belt. The chances of him meeting such a rare Pokemon must have been astronomically low, but it had happened anyway. Sure the Pokemon was a little hostile, but that would change over time. Hortensia had been just like the Umbreon once and Vincent had a feeling that they were both very similar in character. He wouldn't be surprised if he started mothering Cal, just like Hortensia had done. Vincent returned to the Pokemon Center, eager to get his new Pokemon all healed up. He'd taken Vex of the team temporarily to make space for the Umbreon. I really need to think of a name for him... He's all black and mystical so maybe something like... Nox. Short and sweet. Once Nox was all healed up and Vincent introduced himself to the yet aloof Pokemon, Vincent had a quick training session with the Umbreon to get Nox accustomed to his methods and then decided to wait in the Pokemon Center for Lia and Floyd. One or both of them should turn up soon enough. If Vincent was honest with himself though, he was already quite tired. That walk through the entirety of the city had taken quite a while. He wasn't sure if he was up to catching anymore Pokemon. Well, perhaps if Floyd or Lia need any help, I can assist them. No reason not to go along with them, Vincent figured. Nox is now Brutal and Focused and gains the Dark Art Ability. 1d100

Lia's Dex chimes in with another message, this time from Floyd. She reads it, and considers just rolling back to sleep, but figures that'd be too mean. Not like Floyd did anything to upset her, this doesn't got nothing to do with him. She begins typing:
"Sorry Axe Man, something bad came up. I'm alright now, but not really in the mood to do much else today. If you go yourself, be careful, alright? But if you want to wait for me, we could try later."
She sends it off, and stays sitting up in bed, in thought.

Vincent received Floyd's text message and made his way out of the Pokemon Center. While he walked, he wrote up a quick reply to notify Floyd that he was coming, but wouldn't be catching Pokemon of his own. Much more, Vincent would be going up there just to enjoy some nature at its finest. Maybe he'd let the team out and explore the caves for a while. Vincent had always rather appreciated dark places. They made him feel closer to the Pokemon whose type he specialized in.

Receiving Vincent's message, Floyd sets out to meet up with his friend and hunt for pokemon at Mt Moon. When he arrives he sends Vincent his rough location and starts searching.

(This will be the next morning but if you guys have stuff to do in the day before, just go ahead. If it involves Lia, I'll edit this post further down or something to make sense) Having slept through most of the day previous, Lia wakes up even before the sun has risen, fully awake. She quietly makes her way outside, as to not disturb other trainers. She decides training right outside the center isn't for her at this very instant, so she makes her way quietly to the edge between the city and route 3 and finds a nice open spot and releases all her pokemon. It's clear they can tell something's wrong with the normally very energetic Lia (Especially Scier) but they aren't sure what to do to help her out. They just decide that training with Lia is really all they can do. Lia Athlete Training for Attack/Defense
Scier, Glosny, Skala, Jazda all get Focused Training.
Experience Training on Skala (6) and Jazda (4) Lia trains just a bit off to the side by herself, not exactly sure how to directly face her team in the face of her accumulated losses, ending in the biggest one. I don't know how to get over this. Kanto has been brutal so far. The first Gym Trainer, Juri. Then Vincent, then Floyd. The pack was the first upper curve before that woman and her crew took it right back down. And I had Floyd helping me out against the pack. And yeah, these crazy sand ninjas outnumbered me, but there was a life on the line. That girl. And they took her Arceus knows where now, back to whatever lab they worked on her. And if it wasn't for some sort of... almost story-like timing, I would have been taken as well. I mean, something like that should have kicked me into higher gear to survive. Maybe I should have just ran while I had the cha-Before she can finish her thought, her hands slip on the slick dew of the early morning grass and she crashes face first into the dirt. "Ow."Her four pokemon rush over, Skala using it's rocky bulk to pick her up. "Guys I'm alright, geez. But I guess that's a cue to stop, we've done enough anyway."She returns everyone but Scier, who floats next to her, a concerned look on her face. "Yeah I know Scier just... I shouldn't think on this for now."Seemingly getting an idea, she sets down her pack and pulls out something wrapped in cloth. Assembling the pieces underneath together, she comes up with an Old Rod. "Haven't had a chance to fish since I bought it. Calm and distracting. What I need right now."Scier, obviously still concerned but glad Lia is gonna do something to make herself feel better, gives a light chime and follows along. Lia hunts down the nearest pond or some sort of water body, and takes one of her couple pieces of bait, putting it on the hook, and casts it out. Roll for Encounter 93LMnsQq1d100

After fifteen minutes of staring at the fishing bobber, you reel it in to check on it. Seems like your luck isn't changing anytime soon, as something sneakily nibbled away the bait without being hooked.
