Adventure Thread - Group A

"Oh that's nice! But hmm I think a ride to the flying license place will do; I have some money from the gym." And she had already eaten a large share of their food already. She didn't feel right soaking up more things (so soon). She flashes a bright smile. "Thanks for the offer though."

"Okay!" Jane finishes her food and goes to gather her gear. Doesn't take more then a few minutes until she is ready to go.

"All right! Let's fly and meet up just south of Lavender Town?"

Kaeda hands Lia a quick ball. "Here's a plan: Throw this at it as soon as you see it. The more I think about it, the more impossible it seems. I'm relying on luck, while being remarkably unlucky."

Kaeda tosses Jane her own Quick ball as well. "As we just got here, we got nothing. So, Jane, where did you see this thing exactly?"

Alas, like with most 'Legendary sightings', only the Kanto birds ever seem to have an actual pattern to their movements, and they're fairly stationary unless provoked. Suicune & co tend to be constantly on the move, though never seen outside of Kanto and Johto. Old legends/stories state that they'll present themselves to someone 'worthy', but they could just as easily be messing with humans for their own amusement. Who can really say with Pokemon like this?

Ooh, hang on, Lia's got a text message! It's from... D'Mara, apparently. Seems like little more than an 'update' on the status of her request to be one of the first to go through one of those 'stable' portals. Human travel through them is still a ways off, but some RC drones have been sent through to gather data on the currently active portals. With what they're receiving so far, it seems like the first human journey through these rifts is only about a month away, at best.

"Aight!" Jane catches her quick ball and surveys the scene, trying to remember how it all had played out. And this time she made sure to properly secure her backpack!

"Out there, a bit to the south. Let's go!" She points and then winks at her friends. "Don't worry - I was clearly worthy. I'm sure you guys can tag along. And let's not mind the fact that it was running *away* from me heh."

Kaeda just shrugs at what being worthy could even be. Something to make things more difficult probably. She kept her eyes peeled as she scanned everywhere for some sort of sign of a Suicune.

"Oh well..." Jane sighs. She had hoped to see the cool pokémon again, but yeah, the odds hadn't been good. She sat down at the closest fence/rock/dry spot and pondered out loud. "Hmm. Maybe there is a better way? Like hmm some Suicune summoning ritual or something? Or just a whole bunch of camera blimps to search for it more effectively."
