Indeed it is. You may just roll in OOC and deal with it on your time rather than waiting on me. The only stipulation is that you must declare your intent to do so, whether IC or not, and there is no retro-active rolling. You must be physically present on the Route in question to search for fallen/discarded items. Viridian Forest, Mt. Moon, and other such places count as 1 Route.

Thanks. And Revenant was asking about how selling stuff works. If it requires a post and whether they sell for full or half price. This is something I'd like to know as well, because I've already sold some stuff in-game for what I just assumed would be half-price (it was in this post).

You don't need to make a post about buying/selling. All items will sell for half of the listed buy price.

So, for searching the Routes do we just make a Pickup roll? d20?

I could have sworn there were a specific set of rules governing this in 1.04, but for the life of me I cannot find them in 1.05. I guess a Pickup roll will be enough, as it's generally the same thing. You can find the Pickup table on page 310 of Indices and References pdf.

So I can just say, Rolling for Item Search on Route 1: sYOOxGja1d20And that's all I need to do, right? (Ew, of course I'd get a 1 on my first try.) I'm gonna just do all the item searches and edit the findings into my last post. It'll be done quicker that way, I think. Should be fine as long as I declare IC that I'm searching for items on the specific Route right? Rolling for Item Search on Route 22: 1d20Rolling for Item Search on Route 02: 1d20Wow, really... 1d20·1d20·1d20

Heh. I guess the dice gods don't want you getting any nice items this time around. Yes, declaring IC intent and rolling here is all I need.

So I hope tonight's events were entertaining. Why did I do that? I don't know, really. All I know is that I had it planned from the very start. I always knew I'd reveal Jax to be a Pokémon in disguise and then bring in my actual character. I didn't do it to try to do something funny or cool, and I don't know why I had such a weird idea in the first place. I just did it so that, even if it went over very badly, it would create a very memorable experience and prevent us from ever truly forgetting this game. I don't think anyone's ever pulled anything like this before. If/When your group of friends starts to share their unique stories about the stuff that happened in their past tabletop games, you now have a story to throw in as well. "There was this one game where one of the crazy-ass players' characters turned out to be a Pokémon running around acting like a human Trainer." lol, I hope I helped create a memory for you guys tonight.

Forgot to mention that JoJo and Vincent gain 2 Misc XP for the Jax storyline, and Vince gets 26 Poke XP from the battle.

Ha! You have no idea how right you are Peppers. I already shared what happened with the PTU Skype Group, because it was pretty weird, not something I'd experienced before and definitely not something I saw coming.
I'm glad to hear that Peppers is going to be here to stay though, I was worried we were going to lose another player. It might take some work convincing two teens to take along a 35 year old chaperone though, if that's what you were planning.

Man, disagreeing with someone takes energy. I'll just have Vincent disagree with himself and let Peppers come.

I just assumed that everyone would check their own results. Especially since the page reference is already posted (by you).

Oh, just roll for a random [insert item here] if you get that option. Especially as presently there are no Pokemon on anybody's team that evolves by Stone. (Cleffa evolves via Loyalty + Level requirement)
Random Stone: 7kLfdt|Q1d9 (with 1 being a Fire Stone and 9 being a Dawn Stone) Based on the table on page 298, in Descending order. (top is 1, bottom is 9)
Looks like you get a Moon Stone. JoJo can now evolve her Clefairy when it reaches level 20.1d9
