Okay folks, here's where we'll occasioanlly have OOC chatter going on, though I intend to create a Skype chat to handle most of it. I'll also use this as a place to put important homebrew items.
Christine Barret - DataNinja
Amber Cole - Slytherclaw
Cecil DeLoria - Robot
Katora Thatch - Seya
Also posting your character sheet links here in order to have them on hand as needed.
Food Rationing and Starvation:
A single meal's worth of food, IE one ration, is equivalent to one Berry, or 300 worth of food scrap. A PC can survive on two Rations a day. Eating more gains you no extra benefits, but skipping meals begins applying cumulative penalties to skill rolls, starting at -1 after a full day with no food, and increasing by 1 for every ration skipped thereafter.
Water, when filtered, is abundant enough to not need rationing, especially in the Pacific Northwest.
Purification of food - Roll Edu Medicine or Edu Survival to remove contaminants from meal-sized portions of food, or from a full canteen's worth of water. Purification may only be preformed once.
Mon XP - At least half of the XP from combat must got to the mon that participated in the fight. The remainder may be spread around the rest of your team. In the case of mon captured in battle, they are capable of receiving XP as well for the fight they were caught in.
Chansey Egg Laying: Daily - A Chansey may produce a single Chansey Egg, which may act as the equivilent to a Super Potion, or be rendered down into 400 worth of food scrap, or 150 worth of medical scrap. If not used by the end of the day, the "egg" and any scraps spoil and are no longer edible.
When Scavanging the wastes, there comes a time when you need to buckle down and really put the nose to the old grindstone and find any little scrap of useful material left over.
When Scrounging in an area, you roll your Perception+the relevant skill (Intuition or Survival for Food Scrap, Edu Tech for technical scrap, and Edu Medicine for medical scrap). The result then has a multiplier added to it based on how well picked over the area is (and as applied by the GM). The Multiplier table is:
Barren: x5 (Supermarkets and other well-known pre-war sources of supplies, unless they have security)
Searched: x10 (Anything on a Caravan Route or near a settlement.)
Once-Overed: x20 (Your average subway.)
Untouched: x30 (Your average tunnel or mostly-unused, ghoul-infested subway)
Well-Stocked: x40 (A seasoned Wastelander's stash, or a well-secured pre-war supermarket)
Gold Mine: x50 (A government base, still protected by their security)
When scavenging with the assistance of a pokemon, if they have the Tracker ability you may add half their survival rank as a modifier to rolls to find medical and food scrap.
The end result is the amount of usuable scrap you find for that search.
