I like the apps I'm seeing so far! And I'd like to echo Dark Shadow, keep it friendly. Save it for the races. =P
I do have a couple of criticisms though, mechanically speaking.
I'm gonna have to torpedo taking a Skill Stunt to "Remain on the Bike". There are too many ways to get knocked off a bike that no one stunt will reliably keep you on. Also, and more importantly...it starts to make the check trivial when you have a +9 to a DC10 check. So, in the interest of balance, that Skill Stunt will not be allowed.
It was a good try though. XP

Hrm, I'm going to have to withdraw interest, since that Edge basically made Taskmaster viable. No way I can consistently hit DC 16+ (Which I'll usually be at) without it.
EDIT: Axtually, would Skill Monkey be valid for the roll to stay on the bike?

We're working on a solution now, because you did bring up a good point
And since it's a skill check, yes, Skill Monkey would work for it

Actually, I think I can make it work; I'll just have to be careful with how many Injuries I put on my 'mon. Hardened isn't the main benefit for me, so I'll save it for now. I swapped Skill Stunt for Categoric Inclination, so I should be alright! Viable, just a bit trickier. High risk, high reward! I'll get an actual RP sample up tomorrow hopefully, and then I should be good to go!

Yes, if you come up with a wish list of pokemon we will try to make them available in one way or another. =P
Also, after conversing with Break, we've decided on an adjustment to try and keep Taskmasters from being too difficult to race with compared to other classes.
For the purposes of checks to remain mounted, Taskmasters will ignore 1 injury on their pokemon for every feature they have invested in the class, excluding the initial 'Taskmaster' feature, up to a maximum of 5 injuries being ignored. We feel like that should strike the right balance between allowing them to utilize the injury system and keeping them viable as a battle class, without making the checks too trivial.

That sounds amazing, but I would cap it at however many Injuries you granted with the base feat at most. I'd say ignore 1 Injury you cause with Taskmaster per two feats is probably more balanced.

That sounds fine to me. It'll just take some extra bookkeeping to track of which injuries were caused by the Taskmaster themselves, and which ones get healed, etc.

Honestly the first post about it is the only one that feels workable to me, because otherwise im just gonna be drowning in penalties :/

Firstly, let's keep things civil. Insinuating that the injuries from Taskmaster come from "actively beating their pokemon" isn't right. They could just as easily come from the pokemon overdoing it during their "Brutal" training and injuring themselves in the process. It happens to people when they work out, you grab a weight the wrong way, twist something when you shouldn't, and then you've gone and injured yourself. It has happened to myself and others that I know in the past. Now, I know that Taskmaster has been kind-of a touchy subject in the thread, this isn't the first time it has come up, and I'm not trying to bite off anyone's head, so let's set things straight. We're not going to tolerate anyone being openly and outright abusive to pokemon. Animal abuse is serious subject matter, and Break and I are going to treat it like that. It may make an appearance in the game, it may not, but it will not be socially acceptable. Now, as for what we're going to do to keep Taskmaster viable for everyone, Break and I are going to look at it again and try to find a compromise that works for everyone. The goal is not to give Taskmasters an advantage over other classes, it's to keep them competitive and allow them to use the mechanics of their class. Hope that clears a few things up, for now.

So I want to talk a little bit of the character I created. It started out with just a concept of an Ace Trainer who also trains their Pokemons to be really speedy and thought, 'what would make an Ace Trainer? Maybe someone who's parent or grandparent is a gym leader or an Elite.' So I looked up the gym leaders and the elite four in Kanto and found Karen of the elite four. One of the quotes that read of hers really stuck with me so I decided to make it a part of my character. The quote is below... "Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best..." So then I looked for a Pokemon in Kanto I'd like to play that looked or would be fast and of course I looked to the Eevees and saw Jolteon. I thought to myself 'yeah that'll be quick' then I look for a Pokemon that may be less than ideal for racing and saw Slowpoke. In the end I basically picked two Pokémons with extreme opposite in speed; Jolteon with an overland speed of 12 and Slowpoke with an overland speed of 2. Regardless I somehow like the contrast but I am a little hesitant of it being a viable combination. Anyway here,s the character sheet VegaPS the Personaility portion and the Background I will problably keep working on. Also I'll add in the RP Sample later. After a long ride with the wind in hair and the sun rays beating down on here back Vega finally rolled into Pallet Port. With one shift movement Vega took off her helmet and set it aside, shaking her long hair in the process. "Ok guys, time to stretch your legs." In one easy motion Vega release Trace and Smoove from their Pokéballs. Both Pokémons yawns as if they had just woken up but soon enough their bacame fully awake. Trace looked around in wonder at their surroundings sniffing the new smells that was in the city. Smoove looked around as well, although it was much more vague.
"Man, I'm starving let's go find something to eat first, before finding a place to stay for night." Motioning for Trace and Smoove to come along the trio went in search of some food. Eventually, Trace's sniffer leads them to a a pub.
As she was the ordering food with Trace and Smoove at her heels, Vega overheard the conversation between the bar tender and one of the pub's patrons.
"I definitely know what you mean, my grandmother always talk about the good old days. I kind of wish I was there to experience it and in a way I am hoping I can experience it by participating in the Motorshow. But really my goal is to become the champion using the Pokémons I like and not just because of their ability." Just then hamburgers and house salad came out and Vega excused herself. "Oh, hey if you really are looking for a rider here's my number. I'm pretty sure I have the kind of 'heart' you're looking for." After handing her number over to the guy with the cigarette Vega walked over to a table and ate with her Pokémons. Trace and Smoove both took a seat in the chairs and began eating their hamburger and salads respectfully. Vega herself enjoyed some chicken stripes and fries.

Hey Rhewlif, that sounds like it could be interesting. Someone who still thinks it's all about heart! Unfortunately, I can't see your sheet, becayse you have to adjust the permissions. =)
And Cherry with Sammy! I like the build. Juggler could be a really cool choice to keep your racer going. Build momentum with Duelist, keep it going by Juggling. Neat. Story looks solid too. I wonder why his parents from Fuchsia were so against him racing? Or do I? Hmm... =P

One thing to keep in mind Cherry is that according to the Playtest rules that we're using, both of those inheritance moves will have to wait until level 20 and not from the start
Looks good other than that!

Hey! I took a look at Vega, and she looks solid. There are a few things I wanted to point out, though. The bonus for level five is an either/or kind of thing. You either get the feature, or you get stats. Not both. =P Also, surprising as it may sound, the Rider class is not particularly strong in this setting since you're riding a motorcycle instead of a pokemon. You're more then welcome to take the class, you just might find some of the features a little hard to use.

Working on a sheet currently to add just a little bit more competition in the rider department, but quick question. What do you feel about multi-hit moves as egg moves? Technically, they fit the DB requirements, but they in reality put out more damage than other moves of the same DB.

Cool! It's always great to have more interest.
As for Double and Five Strike moves...well, I'd have to give them a case-by-case look for a final say, but if they fit the frequency and DB requirements in the Playtest and aren't too overpowered for the level, then they're fine to be used.

Alright, here is just the mechanics currently minus items, but I'll put it up for review and see what you think. May still change around egg moves and all that. This Grovyle scares me, I would never want to face it. Fluff will either be tonight if I decide to stay up obscenely late, or more likely tomorrow. Also, how much would a simple ranged weapon cost, just normal in book cost? In my mind he simply has a large amount of throwing knives that he throws at people, since that's his style, but if you don't like that idea it can always be the standard fluff of a gun of some sort.
