Zo:Neither Zo nor Lipwig’s insults seem to connect with the Pokemon, and you can’t tell if they weren’t biting enough or if the pokemon are just too stupid to understand. The trubbish shakes over by Lipwig, it’s bag-like body rustling all the way. It opens it’s mouth, releasing a foul smelling poison gas, but before it can hurt anyone, Lipwig flaps his wings, dispeling it. The Grimer oozes over to Lipwig, following it’s friend. It’s goo forms into hands, and it starts punching Lipwig, beating on his feathery body. Trubbish uses Poison Gas and misses!Grimer uses Pound on Lipwig for 21 Normal Physical Damage!Lipwig takes 16 Damage from the attack. Initiative Track:

Vess:Moving back, the Meditite attempts to distance itself from both Vess and Citadel. It looks over to Vess as it dodges out of the way of the incoming Pokeball. Perhaps throwing a Pokeball slightly angered it, because Vess finds herself the new target of the Meditite’s attacks. The Meditite glows pink, then releases a wave of energy in Vess’ direction. Meditite uses Secret Power on Vess for 19 Normal Special Damage!Vess takes 9 damage from the attack! Initiative Track:

Vess narrows her eyes at the damn thing. It was starting to get on her nerves, and she had already wasted one pokeball on it. Time to come to a decision. "Citadel, knock it out if this next capture doesn't work." Then, she sets her feet, glares at it, and throws a pokeball straight at its annoying face. Accuracy! Spending an AP. Vess:Citadel bulks up, ready to strike at a moments notice. He doesn’t have to, though, as your Pokeball hits the Meditite dead on. Only when it pings does Citadel relax. Your Pokedex buzzes with a new notification. You caught a Meditite!Species: Meditite Gender: Female Level: 5 Nature: Lonely Ability: Pure Power Known Moves: Bide, Meditate, Secret Power Inheritance Moves: Level 20 | Foresight | Level 30 | Psycho Cut |
You can give it a Skill Background as you like. However you stat it, remember to subtract 18 from it’s current HP and give it 2 Injuries. Also, remember to double it’s base attack stat from pure power! You gain 12 XP from the encounter! Feel free to divide this amongst your pokemon as you like, but at least half must go to Pokemon who participated in the battle.
After the battle, Vess wanders in the mountains, trying to find her way back to what she thinks is town. Citadel eventually is able to realize that Vess has no idea where she’s going, and he’s able to get a sense of where they are. With Citadel’s help, and after realizing that her Pokedex has a map, Vess is able to make it out of the mountains with relative ease. Back in the town, she brings her Pokemon to the Pokemon Center, and the same nurse from last night is there. She once again sets an alarm on your Pokedex, but this time for two hours. After that’s done, Vess goes over to the now empty dorms to change into her uniform. By the time she makes it to the cafe, it’s about forty minutes past eight.

Zo smirks as the two trash Pokémon - he recognizes them as a Grimer and a Trubbish - come closer to him and Lipwig, though he frowns a bit when their insults seemed to have failed. "Lipwig, move up and over the Grimer quickly and Feint Attack," he tells the Murkrow, before turning to the Trubbish. "And to you, I ask, why is a Murkrow like a writing desk?" he says quickly, trying to throw the Trubbish off its game. Meanwhile, he casts a subtle interference hex to throw off the Grimer's aim. Lipwig obliges Zo's orders and flies above the Grimer, hitting the purple slime with pinpoint precision. Lipwig Disengages to above the Grimer and uses Feint Attack on the Grimer. Can't miss, Crit Check: 5IVy2pg11d20, a critical hit on an 18+. 2d8+22 Physical Dark Type damage. Zo stays where he is and uses Omen on the Grimer, lowering its Accuracy by 2 Zo uses Sweet kiss on the Trubbish. Zo:
Lipwig quickly fakes out the Grimer, making it think he was attacking from the front, then flying above it. Lipwig launches into a savage attacking, fighting with both beak and claws while the Grimer is distracted. The attack leaves a few puncture wounds that the Grimer’s slime can’t ooze over. Before Zo can speak, the Trubbish moves forward, whacking him with it’s garbage arms. The grimer doesn’t seem to take too kindly to Lipwig’s attack, so it reaches up, slapping Lipwig. Lipwig is jostled in the air a bit, and Zo thinks he can see the beginnings of a bruise. Trubbish uses Pound on Zo for 15 Normal Physical Damage!Grimer uses Pound on Lipwig for 22 Normal Physical Damage!Zo takes 9 damage from this attack. Lipwig takes 17 damage from this attack, gaining 1 Injury from being below 50% of HP. Zo grunts a little as the Trubbish hits him, though he isn't hurt too badly. Spotting Lipwig getting rather beaten, he opts to thin the herd a bit and lobs a Pokéball at the Trubbish. Zo:Lipwig quickly recovers, striking the Grimer with as much force as he had just been hit with. It looks like the Grimer can’t take what it dishes out, though, because it’s goo settles into a puddle. Zo can safely assume that means the Grimer is knocked out. The Trubbish seems a bit confused by Zo’s riddle, but it quickly comes up with an answer. It rustles, and replies. “Trub, trub!” After it replies, it continues hitting Zo with it’s little trash bag arms. Zo’s Pokeball completely misses, landing somewhere near Lipwig instead. Trubbish is cured of Confusion!Trubbish uses Pound on Zo for 21 Normal Physical Damage!Zo takes 15 damage from this attack. Initiative Track:

Zo frowns a bit as the Trubbish seems to recover easily enough. It seems like he wasn't up to his A game at the moment. Nevertheless, he was encouraged by Lipwig's defeat of the Grimer, and grabbed another Pokéball. "Good job, Lipwig, now again, Feint Attack!" The Murkrow caws and flies over to the Trubbish, hitting the garbage bag in the back with no chance for evasion. If the Mon is still standing, Zo quickly lobs a Pokéball at it, determined to catch the thing. Lipwig flies behind the Trubbish, Flanking it, and uses Feint Attack. Can't miss. Zo:After Lipwig’s brutal attack, Trubbish’s bag slightly rips, some trash coming out. It whines a bit, clearly in pain. Zo’s pokeball hits dead on, though it wasn’t too hard to miss. The Trubbish seems to have some strength left in it, though, because it quickly bursts out of the ball, breaking it. Ignoring it’s new attacker, the Trubbish decides to continue beating on Zo. Trubbish used Pound on Zo for 17 Physical Damage!Zo takes 11 damage, and gains 1 injury. You may fluff this as you like. Initiative Track:

Zo cries out in pain as the Trubbish hits him again, a nasty bruise forming on his chest. Yep, he was gonna feel that alright. Furious, and a little distraught, he nods to Lipwig. "End this, now!" The Murkrow quickly obeys, striking the Trubbish from behind. Zo uses Focused Training as an Order. +1 on AC checks Lipwig uses Pursuit. AC2: s4pQO3UM1d20+2, a crit on an 18+. Zo:The battle ends as Lipwig swiftly and precisely pecks the Trubbish in the back. The Pokemon whines, then falls, settling into a pile on the ground. Despite his injury and his apparent low health, he hops from foot to foot. You gain 16 EXP from this encounter! Feel free to split this between your Pokemon but at least half must go to a pokemon involved in the battle.
Going into the Pokemon Center, a woman with long blue hair and a white nurse’s uniform is behind the counter. After handing over Lipwig, she takes your Pokedex and sets up a timer for an hour and fifteen minutes. She explains that Lipwig should be all healed by then. You make it to the cafe just in time for breakfast.

Walking into the Cafeteria, you all notice just how big the cafeteria is. It has high cathedral ceilings with, ironically, built in sun-roofs. Someone must have to continually clean them of because you can see up through them.
The seating area is very nice, nicer than any of your previous schools’. Yes, even Lyn’s. There are several cushioned booths with smaller, glossy wooden tables, similar to something you’d see at a coffee shop. There are also larger wooden tables with wooden chairs that have metal legs. The floor is made up of black tiles, which must have been recently cleaned as they look quite glossy.
Behind the seating area, you can see where they’re serving food. The wall there is circular with blue tinted windows cut into it, giving the whole area a modern feel. Below the windows is a large open spot so everyone can see into the large kitchen. There are several chefs working, and it seems to be quite busy. Looking in, you can’t even see all of it. There’s a serving table under this open area watched over by both a few chefs and a glass case. Currently, there’s a bit of a line, and at the beginning of the line is a menu. It says,
Yuki, Quinn, and Jay are currently sitting together, along with a large group of students. You’re not quite sure how that many people can fit at a table, but they’ve managed it.
Adora and Anna are sitting together, along with a few other girls.
Elizabeth is sitting at a booth by herself reading a book, with only her Litwick accompanying her.
Faron is sitting with a modest group of people gathered around him.
Dakota and Xander are sitting together with a group of people around Dakota’s age and a few people looking more around Xander’s age.
Off to the side, there are two girls setting up some signs. One of them has long purple hair in twin-tails, and a pink Pokemon with purple flowers on it is floating around her. The other girl has blonde hair, put up in a ponytail with a round blue ball-shaped Pokemon with a tail and some flippers sits by her feet. Both the girls are around 5’3, with the blonde one being taller.
Greg:
Maria doesn’t seem to mind being put in the Pokeball.
“Horsea! Horsea!” She cries happily, flapping her fins and jumping up and down on your bed. Taking her to the cafeteria, you have to hold her close to avoid her running around and causing havoc.
Trista:
While you train your Porygon, your newly acquired Grimer is not much of a help. She keeps trying to interrupt your training, covering the Porygon, or you, in her gross smelling goo. The Castform, on the other hand, seems content to patrol around the area, looking for danger. If you try to explain to him that there is no danger, he won’t have it, simply continuing to patrol.
If you keep your Porygon out when you go to the cafeteria, for once, he seems content to just stay by your side. Perhaps its because there aren’t any electronics to mess with?
Lyn:
As you enter the cafeteria, no one really seems to notice you. There are plenty of attractive people around, and you’re just another face in the crowd. You get a few glances, but that's about it.
Vess:
Coming in a bit late, the line for breakfast is almost nonexistant. A few people are funneling out, but it's still quite full. You're still able to spot all of your dorm-mates, except Chaika, of course.

Gregory entered the with Maria in hand cafeteria and took a moment to take it all in. It’s not like his old school even had a cafeteria, but he doubted that it would of looked anywhere as good as this. He didn’t even really bother with it on his tour yesterday, but today it looked amazing. Still, all the people did make Gregory a bit uneasy; he was still getting used to crowds and all.
Likewise, Maria also seemed very entranced with the cafeteria and seemed to want to run about the place. Gregory knew enough to know that letting an excited Pokemon lose in a room full of people and food, even if said Pokemon’s top land speed was pretty sad, as probably not a good idea, so he leaned down to try and calm the Horsea. “Hey, Maria, buddy, I know you’re excited and all, and this caff is really rad, but if you just calm down, I’ll get us both some grub to eat.” Gregory gave her a quick pat on the head before continuing into the cafeteria.
Gregory walked up to the serving counter and got some tasty, tasty Gourmet Waffles (choosing them over the other items, mostly because they had the word “Gourmet” in them). He also got some other fancy looking stuff despite not knowing quite what said fancy stuff was, and he left a space on his tray for his Horsea to sit on, hoping that his little pep talk with her was enough to stop her from acting up. He even got some Pokefood for her.
After getting his food Gregory did a quick look-over of the cafeteria to see if he recognized anyone,. He picked out the twins (Greg still had no idea which was which), who were both sitting at a table with lots of people, Dakota and Xander, who were both sitting at a table with a lot of young people and a few older looking people, and Faron, who Greg didn’t even bother trying to figure out who he was seated with. All in all not the best choice of seats, so Gregory opted to sit in a quieter corner of the cafeteria, in part to keep Maria’s nerves down and in part to keep his own nerves down.
He mostly just ate his food and kept his eye on Maria, making sure she enjoyed her food while also not just wondering off or causing a mess.

Zo walks in, battered, clothes somewhat disheveled and not in the greatest of moods. His eyebrows rise as he takes in the grandness of what could very easily have been a humble cafeteria, before grinning. "Over the top, larger than life, ham in a room form. I love it."
He walks to the line and waits patiently, scanning the menu for anything he'd like. Waffles, pancakes, waffles, pancakes. Eventually he settles for a plate of waffles, along with getting some fitting Pokéfood for Jewl as well as packing some up for Lipwig. Once he's gotten his breakfast, as well as another mug of coffee, he looks for somewhere to sit. Spotting Greg, he walks over to him, greeting him as he set down. "Morning Greg, you don't mind if I join you, right? Place seems a bit full already."
He releases Jewl and puts the bowl of Pokéfood in front of her, patting her on the ... pearl. "Eat up, little one. You gotta grow strong."
He spends most of his breakfast in silence, unless talked to, nipping from his coffee as he eats his waffles, contemplating the day ahead of them.

As Vess walks in a little late and a little roughed up, but not showing it too much, she barely notices the ostentatiousness of it all. She was used to Imperians and their Imperian-ness, and this was practically the same. She gets herself a massive plateful of crepes as compensation to her body for forcing it to take that beating, and then looks around. She'd like to sit with Elizabeth, but she had a feeling she'd always know where to find Elizabeth. Adora and Anna would be alright, but she wasn't certain she was feeling Anna at the moment. Then, she spotted Faron and his group of admirers, and she knew where she was going. She didn't particularly want to be a part of his little group of fanchildren, but it'd be a good way for her to scope out both him and all the other trainers in the school who were starting out serious about battling. If she was lucky, she might make it out without getting noticed as well. Well, nothing like acting like you belong somewhere to go unnoticed, so Vess strides up confidently to the table and pulls up a seat, listening in to their conversation and gauging them all. Guile and Stealth to not be noticed, in that order, spending AP on both. veVLThRe3d6+1 3d6+13d6+1·3d6+1

Trista comes into the cafeteria mildly frustrated with her... charming... Grimer. As much mischief as her Porygon had caused, at least it didn't make a mess! Still, two of her three Pokemon seemed cooperative. That was good, right? Maybe they'd talk about it in Pokemon Caretaking?
Keeping as much distance as she could while in line, Trista orders a simple plate of pancakes, and something nice for her Porygon. She wasn't sure what the Castform ate, but asked for something that seemed fitting.
Not having much of a preference for seats, she looks for a quiet, empty corner. If she can't find one of those, she'll sit near (but not next to) Elizabeth, or more specifically, at that table.
During her meal, Trista remarks on how cooperative the Porygon is being, and she asks if it would like to help her with "something".

Gregory was chewing on some waffle when Zo sat down. “Oh, hey-” Greg said to Zo in muffled, food filled voice, swallowing his food with a loud gulp, “Sure, sure, it’s cool, you can sit here.”
“So how are you doing? I see you’ve got a sweet new Pokemon; she’s a real cutie ain’t she.” Greg said as he noticed Zo’s new Pokemon. “I bet you were poking around the mountains when you found her, see anything else up there? Like, you know, maybe some running water, a cave that felt warm, maybe a place with some fish swimming around, eh?” Gerg was obviously prodding Zo about whether or not he had seen a good fishing hole. Gregory had realized he was probably going to have to go looking for one later on, which kind of sounded lame, so he thought to ask Zo if he had seen one.

Zo shrugs. "Well enough, really. Got a bit beaten by some trash this morning, but Lipwig and I took them out easily enough. He's at the Pokécenter right now."
He raises an eyebrow at Greg's questioning, chuckling at the boy's sudden enthusiasm. "I actually was in the forest nearby, and I must admit I did not look out for any bodies of water, nor did I run across any, so I wouldn't know, sorry. On a completely different topic, how are you looking forward to our first day at school? I must say I'm rather excited to finally start working to becoming proper trainers."
